Co-op Childcare Cam have a sensory garden filled with scented plants like lavender and mint, so their children learn about lots of different smells and textures through teacher-led activities or exploring on their own.
They are big on happy children, they have areas for growing food, regular visits to local care homes and focus on taking care of each other and the world. They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that have big environmental differences.
They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children, from encouraging them to make their own decisions to expressing their feelings. They have an app for parents/carers, ParentZone, which keeps them updated on how their little ones are getting on at nursery, from photos of their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!
They are also big on safety which is why all their staff are paediatric first aid trained!
There are 4 home rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: 0-2 year olds, 2-3 year olds, 3-5 year olds. The nursery has a car park to the front of the building for easy access. There is a garden to rear and side of the building. The garden includes a nature area, a growing area, 2 soft play areas and a dedicated baby garden.

Can't fault them. They seem well organised, will try and accommodate you if they can with changes to your schedule, and they're very good at putting on interesting activities and letting you know what's going on.

Excellent Childcare provider from babys-todlers so far, provide fun intellectual learning activities including building blocks, group activities, dancing, obstacle courses, reading....playing outside in the garden, sand play.

Excellent Childcare provider from babys-todlers so far, provide fun intellectual learning activities including building blocks, group activities, dancing, obstacle courses, reading....playing outside in the garden, sand play. My sons speech has really come on since joining the 2+, he loves to sing and dance to songs he's learnt here. The Nursery provides good healthy meals with a hot meal at lunch and a cold meal in the evening. Information regarding the nursery is updated regularly via the app which is very convenient, all bumps and bruises are communicated properly.
Very happy with our experience so far :)

My first boy started nursery in 2022 and now my 7 month baby boy is also there. From the outset, all the staff welcomed us and made me feel very safe and secure with the decision I had made to use them as our nursery. We have particular food and drink and continence preferences and these have been honoured throughout. The nursery has constantly worked to ensure our routine is maintained as much as possible whilst there. My eldest loves the staff, always talks about his key worker, and has many friends. The staff all genuinely care about the children's wellbeing.
My 7-month-old has just started but the team is working brilliantly and his key worker is absolutely fabulous. Such a great support. This is a fantastic nursery!

I am really pleased we chose Co-op for our son. The ladies that look after him are all so kind and caring. He goes in every day no problem, eats all the food and sleeps really well. I appreciate the regular updates and photos we get sent too.

Could not fault this nursery. The team are fantastic, he has a great bond with his key worker. We are kept up to date throughout the day with the very handy app and have zero worries about dropping him off in the morning. They keep him busy with fab activities!

I can not praise this nursery enough, my son has come on amazingly since attending. He has been there since he was 6 months old, now 2 years old. His speech, confidence and development have grown and grown. Every time he comes home from a day at the nursery, there is something new he has learnt....
I can not praise this nursery enough, my son has come on amazingly since attending. He has been there since he was 6 months old, now 2 years old. His speech, confidence and development have grown and grown. Every time he comes home from a day at the nursery, there is something new he has learnt. The staff are brilliant, they keep you informed and are brilliant with the children. They made me feel welcomed on our visit and made the first ever day leaving my son there so much easier. I cannot fault anything they do and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Fantastic nursery! Our son has been going there for just over two years and he has absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and are always cheerful. They are brilliant with the children. The preparation and effort the staff go to, to provide activities and teaching following the curriculum, is second to none, along with the preparation for primary school.
The meals are well thought out and nutritious, as are the snacks provided. Our son has gone from strength to strength by coming here and we are so very grateful to those that work there for helping this happen. We would recommend to all.

Brilliant nursery for my son, who has been attending since he was one year old. They supported us through Covid changes, work patterns changing, always with a smile and helpful advice.
The staff have really looked after my child, and have got to know him so well. It’s a demanding job but the staff always have a smile on their face and their curriculum is fantastic for preschoolers, I’ve been particularly impressed with the preschool leadership and the huge amount of things they do to ensure the children are ready for school.

This nursery is awesome. Both our children go to nursery, one 0-2, one 2-5. They both absolutely love it, staff are real-life superheroes, they deserve medals! Food is better than what we could ever make for them at home. They have both developed massively since attending nursery.

This nursery is really great for our son! The staff are consistently helpful, friendly and approachable and we feel like they really get to know the children. They are attentive to their needs and there is great communication with all staff involved in their care throughout the day. Our son comes home happy after every session and is always welcomed warmly when he arrives. We really like the regular updates about his day via the app and the development assessments too. My daughter has now been going to Cam Co-op for almost 2 years and still loves it! The staff are incredibly supportive of her, and of us as parents. They encourage her to grow, be kind, brave and adventurous! We've actually just reduced our daughters’ hours with the nursery so she can attend a Playgroup more local to us, in the hopes she'll go to school with some of them. She's not struggled with the transition at all, and I truly believe this is down to the life skills she's learned at Cam nursery! She still absolutely loves her day back with them once a week, and we also feel very lucky to still be able to see all the wonderful faces at Cam nursery on drop off and collection on that day too. We'll forever be grateful to Cam nursery for all they have done and still do for our family. Should we be lucky enough to have another little person, we will certainly be trying very hard to get them into the nursery so they can have the best start too!

My son has been attending since he was 10 months old. I had huge anxiety and guilt about his development, He was premature, a little behind in terms of gross motor skills and I assumed he would need a little extra support and encouragement, but as soon as he stepped foot in the door he was away! He is now walking, chatting, enjoys playing with others, isn't afraid to join in and I get updates from the nursery about what he has been doing each day. His development has come on so much and I know that this wouldn't have happened without the support of the staff. His key worker is beyond amazing! Be clear as to what you think your child needs as you know him best... but also trust that they are in good hands... with Co-op Childcare Cam they certainly are!
