Naturally Learning Truro

My daughter has attended the nursery for nearly two years and I have nothing but thanks and appreciation for the amazing care and nurturing she has received there. All of the staff are lovely and she always comes away happy, filthy and exhausted so I know that she’s had an action-packed, fun-filled day. I love that the children spend lots of time outside and that all the ages are able to mix. I will truly be sad when she has to leave to go to school.

My daughter loves this nursery so much, it's one less thing to worry about! I can drop her off safe in the knowledge that she will have a busy, fun day with people who will give her the best of care.

I have been a happy customer of Naturally Learning Truro since it opened in 2014. My three children have attended there. I am really impressed by the professionalism of the staff and how well they know my children. I am particularly happy with how Naturally Learning really practices what it preaches in that all the activities are very much focused on outdoor learning and awareness of nature. My children always come home a bit muddy which I believe is very important for a young child to play outdoors as much as possible. Staff are always very flexible with bookings even if I need a last minute change. My children are always happy there and my young baby who is 16 months, has been there since she was 6 months old. She has cried at drop off maybe once or twice in that whole time, she loves it there and I can go to work feeling really assured that she is having a lovely time. Thanks to all at Naturally Learning!

Overall an excellent nursery!

Since my niece started Naturally Learning she has amazed me with her knowledge, life skills and confidence. Watching her grow she was a shy, unconfident and quiet little girl. Since being at Naturally Learning we have been blessed with seeing her character form. I have been taught how to make shelters, how to make dens, fires, how a forest school works and what I should look out for when visiting the beach. All things that when I spend time with her she speaks about passionately. I just had to visit the nursery and see the practitioners in action myself, they were so friendly and welcoming. I could not believe the attention to detail that goes into their planning and the activities set up. I will now be sending my daughter to the nearest Naturally Learning.

Naturally Learning Truro is a great nursery. Our daughter is in the toddler room and she absolutely loves it. She’s really excelled in her development and all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. From healthy eating to lots of fun and engaging activities, we really couldn’t ask for more.

My daughter started at this nursery over two years ago, each day she has grown in confidence. The staff have been outstanding with her and the quality of care cannot be faulted. My daughter would jump out of our arms in the morning and was excited to tell us about her day in the afternoon. Before she attended Naturally Learning I was naive to how much work, commitment and effort goes into the planning for their enjoyment, the training and how they always enable the personal touch to each thing they do. It has definitely been an eye-opener for me, my little princess will jump in her prettiest dress in the deepest of their mud pits with nothing but a smile on.

My child recently started at this nursery and I would just like to say how fantastic it is. We as parents were slightly worried about leaving our child for the first time but Naturally Learning has made us feel so comfortable and calm when we go to work. The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic and the setups always look really great. Would highly recommend!

Our son has attended Naturally Learning Truro since he was a very small baby. He absolutely loves the setting and all the staff! The focus on outdoor learning appealed to us the most and we are amazed at the skills he has learnt at Forest School!

My Grandson has been going to the nursery for two years and I can’t recommend it highly enough. He is so happy and loves all the amazing staff. They do such lovely things every day and I love seeing everything on the Famly app. I feel really included in his day. He talks about the staff all the time and calls them his friends.

Naturally Learning is such a great nursery, they educate your children to be independent and to follow their own direction. They give them the tools they need to succeed.

My son has not always been the easiest child but at Naturally Learning, he has made great progress. The staff are so friendly and welcoming when I collect him. The feedback I received about his day is great from his key person and the meals he has smell great.

The outdoors is fantastic and provides so many opportunities to them. I love hearing and seeing all the different activities and learning he does outside.

I am really liking the family system they use which is so user-friendly and easy to understand. Everyone is so friendly and helpful which makes pick up and drop off great.

If you are looking for a nursery which is chilled, has great outdoor learning and uses natural resources. This is the place to go!!

My grandson attends this excellent nursery and he is making outstanding progress.

I love the interaction between extended members of the family like myself who are regularly informed on all outdoor learning and all other fun activities.

The staff work really hard and when I drop my grandson off at the nursery there is always a happy welcome at the reception. They quickly get my grandson into an activity and he is always very happy to see his key person. The manager is also extremely welcoming and ensures the smooth transition from welcome to activity.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 5 months old. Nursery is more than just his favourite place to go, it has become a home away from home for him. I've visited lots of different nurseries around the country and in Iceland too but Naturally Learning Truro is really something special. He loves going and checking on the chickens, exploring the huge gardens that are full of some great resources, digging away for hours in the sand pits, diving straight into whatever sensory activity is set up for the day and learning new stories and songs. He has formed special friendships with both the other children and the extremely friendly staff, regularly coming home with great tales to tell of his adventures. From the 'Forest School' sessions they run on site with open fires and real tools to the weekly swimming and ballet lessons, he is learning and growing in every way possible and I cannot show enough thanks to the manager and the team for their hard work.

Both my daughter and son started at Naturally Learning Truro at the same time and I could not have asked for more. The settling in process was great and both children made amazing bonds with the practitioners. Both my children ask when are they going to nursery and get excited to attend and then get upset if we are not going! The outside environment is a great learning space and I love the fact that they are allowed to get muddy and explore. What is so important to me is that they are child led. They let the children make decisions and lead the learning around their interests and development. I have noticed a change in both my children when it comes to exploring, they want to be outside and teach me about the outdoor environment and this is down to Naturally Learning Truro. Everyone is so friendly and they all know who you are even if your child is not in their room. I can not fault the care and love my children receive which puts me at ease when I am not with them. I have always found when using Naturally Learning nothing but professionalism. I was an apprehensive parent putting my daughter into childcare, however, she is now equipped with many life skills thanks to the opportunities given to her at Naturally Learning. I have always been quite cautious as a parent and very quickly to deter from anything that maybe considered as a "risk". Naturally Learning taught me so many different ideas and showed me ways of teaching my child and allowing her to make those choices herself. They have always been respectful of views. I feel as though they keep you up to date with development and whats happening within the rooms, I will be sending our third child there whom we are currently expecting. I have often told others of Naturally Learning and will encourage parents to go and have a look around of the premises.

As a mother of four, you would think I would find it easy sending my children to nursery.. but I find it hard. Anxiety kicks in I'm thinking what is he doing? Will he be happy without me? What can I do to keep myself busy? Well, I'm so lucky to have found an outstanding nursery. They not only put my child needs first, but they are always considerate of my feelings too.

I love the family app, it's a way for me to communicate with the staff. I can see what my child has been doing, how well he has settled, seeing what he's eaten (snacks/lunch), nappy changes and nap time. I also like it when they post pictures of him interacting with the other children and seeing him happy, it puts my mind at ease.

I'm so happy to be part of the Naturally Learning Nursery and I'm looking forward to seeing my son go through his milestones with his friends and the staff. Thank you all for welcoming myself and my family. Here's to 2018.

My son was a little nervous at first, however, he was supported very well and both staff and management had a clear idea of how to settle him in.

Staff have always been welcoming and the location within the wider Truro High School is superb.

Would highly recommend a visit.

My son loves going to ‘school’. I feel so lucky that we found somewhere where he can run and play without too much structure. He enjoys having marshmallows or popcorn on the fire and generally getting muddy!

The staff are welcoming and always have time to give a handover of what they’ve been doing and eating!

Now he’s with the preschool group he’s getting prepared for school and it’s very led by him.

It is a fun and active place to learn!
