The Priory Day Nursery

Both my children have been going to The Priory Day Nursery since they were 9 months or so. It is a wonderful nursery and they are both very happy there. I love the fact that all the staff know who they are, regardless of which room they are in and that everyone is so helpful, friendly and professional. I also appreciate how they maximise outdoors time each day, and all the fun and inventive activities they do with the children. The flexible hours they offer have also been so helpful. My son is about to start school in September and his time in preschool has definitely prepared him well.

Absolutely the best nursery. Flexible hours, the staff are super friendly, and my child adores them. I always feel confident that my child is safe and well looked after, and she always has fun and a full tum. Would definitely recommend it.

Both my children have been at the Priory Day nursery and had wonderful experiences. The staff are so caring and the range of activities that they do is fantastic. They love the food and have tried far more than they do at home! They have made some lovely friends at nursery and as a result, my son has started school with confidence. They are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.

I could not ask for a better place for my child! Have just signed my second one up. The fact that they are almost full for next year speaks volumes. All the staff know my daughter and are so friendly. Really good handovers and the support is amazing. Such a lovely environment and ethos! Most importantly, my daughter always comes home so happy and excited about what she’s done.

The staff are all brilliant and very caring, fantastic outdoor space, great facilities inside. Offer regular themed activities for Christmas/Easter etc. Both my girls love going to nursery/pre-school. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

We were with the nursery for years, my son was on the autism assessment pathway and was receiving great help from staff. The management are awful and frankly intimidating. They dealt with my family in an awful manner, they terminated the contract with no appropriate reason or evidence behind their reasoning and with no notice. They showed no care or compassion despite knowing the child’s needs and struggles with change as well as knowing the family situation - they actively caused stress to all involved that has been ongoing. Very very poor management.

Really pleased with his progress and transition into pre-school.

Since my son started at The Priory day nursery in October 2020, his vocabulary has improved noticeably. He loves going to school and has become more social. The teachers are very professional and extremely kind. I couldn't want more for my child from a nursery school.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery, I cannot thank the staff enough for making my child's settling period so easy, I am already reserving a place for my youngest to start in January.

Our daughter regularly speaks about different staff members at home and its so positive about all nursery experiences. On the walk to nursery she regularly states "I love nursery!!"

Quite simply we couldn't be much happier with this nursery for our childcare needs. Our son is happy there every day which is the best indicator of the good care he receives. The staff are caring and considerate of both our ad our son's needs and are enthusiastic in their jobs. The nursery provides a wide range of activities to occupy and help develop the children, and the meals provided seem diverse and nutritious. Aside from one or two easily rectified financial admin issues, we have no complaints with Priory Day Nursery.

This is an outstanding nursery. My daughter has excelled over the three years she has been attending. She is loved and continues to develop well as she is given the care and attention she requires.

Everything food wise at the nursery is home cooked and he is eating well. Also, the mobile app does help a lot with two-way feedback and communications!
