About this price
How the monthly figure is calculated.More info
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

I wish to commend Charlotte and Jade for always taking care of Raymond and how they always keep us updated on everything that Raymond is doing and improving in. They always inform us on things that can help him do better at home.

10 STARS! My child is 4.5 years old and has attended this nursery since 13 months old. They have had the absolute best experience at this nursery and as a parent I am incredibly grateful to every single staff member who works at Gaywood First Steps. The lengths that the staff go to, to ensure the child's learning and play/social experience is exceptional. My child has known their alphabet and phonics for nearly 2 years and is supported every day at nursery with continued learning. The staff connect so well with the children and I genuinely believe they are so well cared for whilst us parents head to work. The room set ups are brilliant and I think my child is set up well ready for school in September. The outside space is just fantastic. What lucky children!
I cannot thank all the staff enough for everything they do every day for my child. This truly is the best nursery.

I couldn't fault Gaywood first Steps. Our daughter loves it there. She especially loves playing outside as they have a lovely big garden. The sensory room is also a favourite. The staff are great and all very friendly and helpful.
I would be happy to recommend this nursery.

Gaywood First Steps have been an amazing nursery for my daughter, helping her grow and develop into a child who is ready for the next adventure of school. Gaywood First Steps have always been accommodating to my daughter's dietary requirements when doing activities such as pancakes and cupcakes. My daughter absolutely loved going to nursery and will really miss all of the enthusiastic and friendly staff. A special mention to two staff members for their continued support for my daughter who loves seeing both of them.
Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication you give to the children, it definitely pays off and doesn't go unnoticed!

Gaywood First Steps Nursery is a fantastic setting. A lot of safety measures are in place to minimise number of accidents. The team welcome you and your child every single day with a smile. Everyone has been very supportive and understanding. They go above and beyond to make children feel comfortable. They offer wide range of educational activities, both indoor and outdoors. The place is clean and tidy, despite having messy play and painting throughout the day. Far superior to other settings I have been to.

Three of our kids are attending Gaywood First Steps. We love this nursery. Our children are always happy to go and are well looked after there. The staff are always friendly and really take the time to understand each child and attend to their specific needs. They understand each of our children’s personalities and likes and dislikes. The communication is excellent and we always know what’s going on. We have one child with specific medical needs and the staff are wonderful at administering his medication and being extra vigilant with his health and well-being. Our kids have made impressive developmental progress since starting nursery here. We would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a caring and friendly environment for their children.

We have several kids in several rooms of this nursery. The staff here are amazing. Very in tune with the children's needs: they really get to know the kids super well. On the rare occasions that one of the kids has been unwell, they have always done the right thing. I feel very comfortable and reassured that the kids will be given the care, attention and support they need. Staff always give detailed information on what happened during the day. I always feel in the loop with what happened, as well as any admin, or other information. They are always organising fun activities for the kids, dressing up days and holiday-themed fun.
Hands down the best nursery I've ever had the pleasure to send my kids to. Recommend them 100%.

My child started at Gaywood First Steps in February 2022 and has settled in wonderfully. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy their work and always give a warm welcome. The outside facilities are especially good and were one of the main reasons we picked this nursery. They do a good range of activities and communicate these well verbally and via an email update. I have no concerns about my child's happiness, safety or well-being at nursery, but also know that I would be listened to if I did. An all-round lovely place!
