Kindred Huntingdon is a warm and welcoming environment where staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, the nursery are able to truly enrich a child’s development during the 0-5 years.

Not only that, but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent and will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred are more than just inspiring childcare but making sure the parent partnership is at its very best.

Kindred Huntingdon is located in a lovely converted barn setting with a large outdoor area. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

Kindred Nursery Huntingdon has been an incredible part of our family's journey. For the past 3 and a half years, they've cared for our eldest with such dedication, and over the last six months, our youngest has also thrived under their nurturing guidance.


From day one, the staff have shown genuine

warmth, professionalism, and a deep understanding of each child's individual needs. It's been such a comfort to head to work each day knowing my children are not only safe, but happy, engaged, and truly cared for.


The team creates a joyful, stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and build confidence. I've seen both of mine flourish socially and emotionally, and I couldn't be more grateful.


I would wholeheartedly recommend Kindred Nursery Huntingdon to any parent looking for a place where their child will be treated with kindness, respect, and love. They've been amazing-and we feel so lucky to have found them.

My sons now really enjoying kindred, he was naturally a bit emotional at drop off to start with but he's become really familiar and comfortable with the staff. I personally was really drawn to the outside space they have access to at kindred.

My husband and I looked around the nursery a couple of times before sending our son here. As we had concerns about a previous nursery we had sent our eldest to.
We are so pleased we sent our son here as he has already achieved so many milestones even though he is 1. The staff members in the room are
all super helpful and nothing is a problem they can't solve.
Our son loves going into the nursery and seeing his friends and the staff, he's also now very quick to crawl and join in any activities on offer.
We cannot wait to see what the remainder of his journey with the nursery is like.

We moved our son to Kindred in June 2023, following some serious issues at another local nursery. Since starting at Kindred our son has flourished and has grown into a confident and happy little boy. The nursery staff have been incredible with helping him overcome some behavioral issues, and are constantly
adapting their approach with him to keep him engaged and content in his environment. He has formed some fantastic friendships and has a loving relationship with his key workers.
I really couldn't recommend this nursery enough, it's such a pleasure to see our child in such a nurturing setting.

Kindred Huntingdon Nursery & Pre-school has provided great flexibility and care for my son since he started nursery in 2021. I think it is really important that my son benefits from the social interaction and opportunities for development in a nursery setting. Kindred face the same difficulties that
many nurseries face with the retention of staff. My son has not had a key worker attached to his journey for more than a few months at a time throughout his whole experience at nursery. This has had an impact, as my son has rarely enjoyed his nursery days and is often overwhelmed and doesn't want to go to nursery. The only time he has really flourished in nursery was when he was moved to a smaller room with more dedicated staff, who have sadly since moved on.

Fantastic nursery. We had a weird time with our son’s previous nursery with a lot of concerns, which is alarming for a relatively new parent, but not at Kindred. My daughter has been at this nursery for just over a year now and I cannot thank the staff enough for their understanding and support in the early days allowing her to adjust to the new routine and setting.
She is now fully settled and gets excited to attend each day, her development has come on leaps
and bounds and that is largely down to her day-to-day experiences at Kindred.
She has a balanced diet and gets loads of socialisation with other children to form bonds with both the practitioners and her peers.

My daughter attends the nursery 5 days a week and has been coming since she was 5 months old. She absolutely loves it there, every day when I drop her off the staff are warm and inviting and she’s always treated with love and warmth. She has built up such close relationships with the staff around her
and her key worker is like a second mum to her, she loves her very much. The activities provided every day are fantastic and I know my daughter is experiencing and learning so much. I feel the care she receives is excellent and she is always happy on pick up. My daughter loves the food at the nursery and I’m reassured that the food she is provided is nutritious and safe. I’m satisfied with the nursery as a whole, the staff are always warm and welcoming and I feel that my daughter’s development is tracked efficiently, it’s lovely to see her journey on the app and look back at what she has achieved and enjoyed.
Overall I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have nothing but positive stuff to say about the care my children have received during their time in this setting. I booked my 13mnth old daughter some settling-in sessions.
On her first session, we were told to hand her over at the doorway and were assured that we’d receive updates through the app during her stay.
We stayed in the area but received no updates whatsoever.
On her 2nd session 2 days later to
my horror a temperate gun was held against her forehead and sanitiser was applied to her hands. At no point had we been informed of any ‘covid’ protocol and nothing was stated in Terms&Conditions. Nor had we been asked for our consent for the application of any chemicals to be applied to her skin.
(I made my interest in a risk assessment for the application of these products very clear).
I contacted the manager with my concerns and informed her that our daughter would no longer be attending.
This is a matter of non-disclosure and I have contacted the manager countless times for the return of our deposit.
Each time I am told that she will chase the accounts team.
No refund yet.

Kindred/The Barn have always been a wonderful nursery, my son loves going into nursery and the staff there have really made an effort above and beyond to work with him on his communication and helping him develop. The management team and all staff are always so supportive, not just to the children but
the parents too. We are always made to feel like valued members of the nursery “family” and I thank them all for that. There have been some challenging times over the past year or so and they’ve always handled it well and always put the children first.
