Situated a short distance from the centre of Cambridge, The Old Station Nursery Granta Park offers the perfect setting for parents commuting to the city as well as the surrounding areas. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child, such as child-friendly cooking, language and organic growing classes. These classes help to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process, difference cultures, the environment and sustainable living.

In the organic-centred nursery, a lively curriculum inspires curiosity, sparks imagination, and cultivates overall wellness. Children eagerly participate in plant nurturing, produce harvesting, and culinary exploration, acquiring knowledge about plant growth, diverse fruits, and cooking methods. The nursery also proudly offers a cookery enhancement, featuring uniquely crafted cooking and baking utensils designed with children's safety and ease of use in mind.

Purposefully designed, the nursery offers four rooms that have been curated for different ages and stages of development. In each of the large and airy rooms, children can explore a range of resources and equipment chosen specifically for them. Each room also benefits from access to a separate garden space. With laid Astroturf and a range of resources, from a mud kitchen to a climbing frame, children are free to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Granta Park focuses on the learning of Languages via Baby Sing and Sign classes, Spanish language lessons and interactive multilingual books. This is embedded into an overall engaging curriculum. Children have access to a range of high-quality and engaging texts and children’s stories from Polylino.

The Old Station Nursery Granta Park has partnered with the local coffee shop on the business park to offer new parents a complimentary coffee while their child begins their journey.

Our two children are very happy at the nursery. The staff treat them very well and are creative with coming up with new activities, particularly outdoors. The overall management seems to have improved and there is more stability with the staff turnover. Our children try interesting and healthy foods
that they may not go near at home.

I am very happy to leave my daughter at the nursery. I know she is cared for and that she is happy, despite the tears at drop off. The staff are incredibly caring and kind and really make sure that she has a good day. Thank you so much.

Sunhill Day Nursery Granta Park is a lovely, very much engaged team. My little one-year-old got on with the nursery in a week! It's a pity we had to move away and start using a nearby day nursery. Otherwise, we would stay at Sunhill as long as possible.

I have used Granta Park Nursery for 16 years for all 3 of my children.
I am happy with the level of care each has received and the support they are provided with.
Staff at Granta Park are always happy and friendly which makes dropping off each day an easy experience - I cannot fault it on any level,
I am a happy parent.

The nursery is fab. My child is also happy and has come along so far. The key workers are fantastic, so caring for my daughter, and we really appreciate the experience they are providing for her care. They also put us at ease when we're nervous.

Granta Park is such a great setting for my daughter. The staff are incredibly special, and it's amazing to see people care for and develop your child in the best possible way. The facilities are great. The rooms are routinely cleaned and cleared - nothing seems chaotic! Outdoors there is so much for
the children to play on or with. The acting manager has really improved the nursery space (giving it a fresh new warm feel), improved communication and the staff seem happier too. The meals are varied and great - my fussy child seems to enjoy everything! I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone - I can't praise the staff enough (especially Pre-school 1 staff) - their constant commitment to supporting my child's learning and development is fantastic. Furthermore, all the staff at the setting know my daughter by name and happily greet her - leaves you with such a comforting feeling, and I am glad they get to spend the day with my daughter - great role models and teachers!

We are happy with everything. Staff are very friendly and professional. She loves going to the nursery. The only thing which I would like to improve is to have a real kitchen in the nursery to be able to provide cooked food.

Overall, the nursery is great. My kids love it there; the carers and staff are all wonderful. The facility is fantastic, and the location is brilliant for us. My only complaint would be communication needs some work.

Our daughter has been at this nursery from 12-months of age, and in the past year and a half, she had flourished into a caring, confident and happy little girl. She loves going to nursery so much so, we will have to add an additional day. She so looks forward to all of the activities and comes home
a very tired and happy little girl.


Out little baby boy will also be attending this nursery as and when I return to work from maternity leave.

My little girl loves going to Granta Park Montessori Nursery. She is always very happy to be left and has become at ease quickly when she moved up to the toddler room. This was due to having a lovely bunch of girls looking after her and making her feel at home. She also loves to still have interaction
with all members of staff too.
Everyone is always very welcoming and acknowledges myself and my little girl when we enter the nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. The nursery has a lovely, warm and reassuring feel to it.

Our experience, over the last three years, has really exceeded our expectations.
Our daughter is extremely well cared for by her key-worker and other staff members. A very shy child in her first year, her confidence has really grown during her time at the nursery.
Communication is great, we receive
daily face-to-face updates and a weekly email. We will be very sad to leave the nursery when she starts school next year!
