About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

The nursery is really good because I feel happy that my son can go and play and have fun. I think it's great because I feel that I can trust the staff to take care of him well.
Although my son has fun, I feel like he isn't enjoying the food as much as he does at home. He has said he wants a change...

Although my son has fun, I feel like he isn't enjoying the food as much as he does at home. He has said he wants a change of food but there are one or two menus that he does like.

Dear Mrs. D,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It’s great to hear you are extremely satisfied with so many aspects of our early years provision.
We recognise the importance of mealtimes, so it is wonderful to know your child enjoys the foods you provided for him at home.
Our skilled and knowledgeable practitioners support and encourage children to try the range of foods offered, as well as fostering children’s independence skills. Information about the quantities of foods consumed by each child is carefully recorded and shared with parents.
Practitioners are always available at the beginning and end of each session to discuss individual children’s needs with their parents. This is an opportunity for parents to raise any concerns they may have, thus enabling us to support children and their families effectively.
We have worked in partnership with our parents to develop the four weekly menus - they are nutritionally balanced and reflect the cultural backgrounds of those that use our setting. They also incorporate many of the fruits and vegetables the children have grown and tended.
We welcome suggestions as to how our menus could be further developed and would like to encourage our parents to discuss any concerns that they have about any aspect of the nursery with the staff or management team.
