Pumpkin Patch Nursery Worthing (St Botolphs)

Our child has been attending Pumpkin Patch for around 3 months. Pumpkin Patch accommodated him with short notice after he had a bad experience of another nursery. He was so upset at nursery previously, we thought he'd never settle but the staff at PP are magic. Pumpkin Patch are incredibly nurturing and child-centred, the staff are genuinely fond of the children and comfort them whenever they need it. Our son learnt very quickly that he could go to any member of staff for reassurance. The activities they come up with on a daily basis are fun, engaging and support the children's development. I don't think they get a chance to miss home as they ae always busy getting messy, splashing about or being creative. The outside areas are safe and varied and even the smallest babies get lots of opportunities to be in the garden. Our son is now transitioning to toddlers and it's clear that the staff there are just as great as in babies. We feel incredibly lucky to have gotten a place for him.

Our next child will be attending the nursery in the new year.

My children are so cared for and so loved in this safe, family setting. They have built so much confidence and happiness in the kids. And every family we know thinks the same. They’re also incredibly supportive of our family and any issues we might have.

My daughter loves attending Pumpkin Patch. At pick-up time she comes out beaming and chattering about all the activities she has been up to through the day. She loves the staff there who have supported her to really come out of her shell since she started in 2021. I feel Pumpkin Patch was definitely the right fit for us as the staff provides such a nurturing environment and encourages the children to follow their own interests.

I 100% recommend Pumpkin Patch and trust them absolutely with our son's care!

This nursery goes above and beyond and both my children love it here. My son is autistic and the staff here really understand his needs and he has come on leaps and bounds since being here. I definitely recommend this nursery to any parent.

Outstanding nursery, amazing professional.

I moved my child from a different nursery in Worthing due to poor communication and am so pleased I did. Pumpkin Patch Worthing is an amazing nursery where children thrive. I currently have two children there and they couldn't be happier. The communication is excellent and I am always well-informed of what they've been up to with pictures and info uploaded of the app. My eldest does forest school there fortnightly which is an amazing experience for her and she can't wait to tell me all about it when she gets home. I'll be sad when she has to leave to start school. Would thoroughly recommended this nursery.

We have been with Pumpkin Patch for 5 years now and have been absolutely astounded with the care, compassion and professionalism from every member of staff. We have sent both of our children to Pumpkin Patch who have had the same individual, personable experiences. The staff treat every child as if they are their own which is abundantly obvious at pick up with the smile on their faces and spring in their step! The staff genuinely love your child which makes us all feel very special and cared for as a family. We are so very grateful to have found Pumpkin Patch which has given both our boys the very best start in life. We’ve watched them grow in confidence and make some amazing friends, some of which we are still in touch with and will hopefully be in their lives forever! To sum up Pumpkin Patch with a few keywords (because I could go on forever!); Amazing, Inspirational, Attentive, Professional, Personable, Compassionate, Caring, Magical, Diligent - a home from home.

I couldn't praise Pumpkin Patch Nursery and the staff more. Our son has been going three days a week since he was 1 (now just over 2) and his development and enjoyment that he gets out of going every day is wonderful to watch after a tough initial period of settling in - the staff were great throughout keeping us posted and regularly touching base with us to discuss how to help him settle in. He clearly loves going and now runs in at drop-off, and regularly talks about his friends and the staff when he's at home. They're great at keeping us updated with how he's doing, both during the day and at pick-up, as well as working on his longer-term development. He is hypermobile and therefore took longer to walk than some other children of his age which the nursery were great at helping him find his confidence with and catch up, moving him to the toddler room early to give him more chances to run around and practice.

Pumpkin Patch Nursery is one of the best nurseries around West Sussex. The staff are really helpful and kind and are always attentive in listening to issues and concerns raised. My daughter loves going to Pumpkin Patch.

It is a fantastic nursery.

Our son has been at this nursery for 10 months and during this time his speech has developed loads. He loves the outdoor space and as parents, we are truly impressed by the facilities e.g. outdoor classroom, atelier, forest and beach school and large airy classrooms with lots of different learning corners to engage and inspire children. The children are supported in their learning with amazing and unusual activities and communication with parents is constant and prompt through the parnet app. We are very happy with the educators and the management who show understanding and passion. We are also impressed by the training opportunities for staff development including trips to Iceland and Italy to shadow and train in foreign settings. We are not surprised Pumpkin Patch Nursery have opened another branch due to their success - they work hard for it and deserve it. Educators are super helpful and seem happy in their jobs. We love this nursery.

The boys have made lovely friends and always come home tired, muddy from all the fun in the garden and very happy.

We couldn’t be happier with Pumpkin Patch Nursery! Our daughter has been attending the nursery for nearly two years and she loves it. The staff work hard with the children, to nurture and support their development. Activities are created based on the interests and ideas of the children, allowing them to see their own concepts evolve. They also communicate well with us parents too, always responding to our messages and keeping us up to date with their progress. Considering we had to find a nursery during lockdown, I feel very lucky to have picked Pumpkin Patch!

I cannot recommend them enough, I feel my daughter is richer in her development and they make our family feel comfortable every time we drop her off.

Our eldest spent two years at Pumpkin Patch (St Botolphs) and loved it - he still wants to come and see the staff sometimes when we pick up our youngest child, who is also loving the staff, activities, toys and overall setting. We've not had any issues with either of them and they've always had a nice day - so can only give very good feedback and a recommendation.
