I have two children and we have been attending this nursery since 2016. The nursery is based on a farm in the South Downs national park and there is a big emphasis on outdoor playing and learning. There are farm animals which the children get to visit, a forest school and a walled garden for vegetable
growing. There is so much on-site that there is no need to travel beyond the farm for days out. The staff are excellent and I'm confident in their ability to care for my children. The owner seems to invest in her staff with all the required training. She even goes beyond by getting her staff additional training in courses such as sign language so that every child is made to feel welcomed and loved. I'm so pleased that my children have had the opportunity to attend such a special place in their early years of development.

All 3 of my children have been to or are at Garden Cottage. I had a lot of anxiety leaving my children but here I know they are safe and happy. The staff always go the extra mile and my children love them. The location and facilties are second to none. A beautiful walled garden, a forest school and
the use of the stunning Windlesham Chapel not forgetting the animals that the children can help with. Each child is treated as an individual, mine have certainly flourished here. Parents are always included if they wish. With sports day, Easter Egg hunt, fireworks night and a fabulous Christmas nativity, it's a lovely community. I will be sad when my youngest leaves in a couple of years.

This nursery is excellent and I would say by far the best one in the area. It has everything; the staff are motivated, professional and caring and all clearly have a passion for working with young children. The environment is fantastic with stimulating and fun rooms for each age group and also access
to a forest school, walled garden and the nearby farm to see the animals. As the nursery is located in the grounds of Windlesham House School it also benefits from having access to the theatre, sports field and chapel for the summer concerts etc. We couldn't have wished for a better place for our son to start his early year's education.

Garden Cottage is quite simply the best nursery around. I couldn't be happier with the care they provide for my daughter and the facilities are incredible, from the chickens and walled garden to the forest school. There are so many occasions to enjoy with your child too - sports days, summer concerns,
easter egg hunts, bonfire nights, all in the beautiful setting of Windlesham school. I couldn't recommend it more.

I now have a second child in Garden Cottage Nursery and I couldn't praise them any higher. Communication with management is excellent and they always work hard to make sure your child gets best possible care. They will even concentrate on the child to go over his/her fears if there are any. Excellent.

I couldn't ask for a better place to send my children to nursery. They have loved every second and learned so much. My eldest started school quite far ahead of his peers and I give Garden Cottage full credit for that. The care is second to none and the facilities first class, especially the outdoor
space. They spend their days feeding the donkeys, collecting eggs from the chickens, at Forest School, walking up on the farm (and feeding lambs in the Spring), growing/picking mint and veg in the walled garden. Who could ask for more? I will be very sad to not be part of it when my youngest starts school.

The Garden Cottage Nursery is my baby boy's "second home" and the staff at Garden Cottage are like his "second family". The loving and caring everyone at Garden Cottage show and give to our children is heartwarming. Thank you to all the staff for looking after my baby with so much love and respect and
being an amazing role model! I cannot recommend this nursery enough to any Mum or Dad or carer.

I have been very pleased with the level of care at the nursery and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The facilities are second to none. The children enjoy lots of time outdoors. Both my children have been there since they were only a few months old and have thrived and been very happy.

From our daughter’s first day at Nursery when she was eleven months old, we knew we had chosen the best Nursery we could have wished for. As parents, we had a good feeling about Garden Cottage Nursery from the moment we visited for a look around and from the baby room to the pre-school class she is
now in, we have delighted in how much she has learnt in her time here.
Without exception, the staff have been amazing, nurturing and caring for the children as if they were their own. There is never a day when our daughter does not want to go to Nursery but for those that are a bit more hesitant, there is always a reassuring member of staff on hand for the children (and parents).
The activities the children do are hugely varied (inside and outside) and there is plenty of opportunity to learn whilst having an enormous amount of fun. I would not hesitate to recommend this Nursery.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. They care for my two children. They are very patient and work very closely with each child to keep them safe, happy and also help them to be well behaved and educated. The facilities are wonderful. Due to the location, the children can visit the farm, forest school
and the walled garden. They love visiting these as they are safe and free to run and explore.

My son has been at the nursery for a couple years and is now in the pre-school room and really enjoys his nursery days. He happily walks in on his own and is always eager to find out which of his friends is there that day and what activities they will be doing. He particularly enjoys time at Forest
school and will tell me what he has been doing at the end of the day. He is animated and excited when he tells me about his day and this is great to see and tells me he is well looked after and cared for.
As a parent, I get the regular emails detailing what the children will be doing for the following week which is a great prompt and talking point for discussion at home. I regularly see different staff members at the start and end of the day and it's reassuring to see the same faces and they all know children by name and will greet each child as they come in. The management team are also freely available and always happy to talk and can often be seen working alongside staff.

I thoroughly recommend this nursery. We have been attending since the baby room and I have only good things to say about the care and attention given. My daughter is really happy, seems to be learning lots of new skills and has loads of outside time including at the Forest school. The staff are very
happy to help if there are any concerns. It feels like a happy place and to me that feels important.

A fantastic nursery, lots of activities for the children, the staff are friendly and I have no problems leaving my child with them safe in the knowledge that if anything untoward should happen I will be notified immediately.
My child is developing well and I can see that this nursery is so much
more than just “childcare” its fun for the kids but also educational. My child loves it at Garden Cottage Nursery!

Being a first-time mum, the process of finding the right childcare for our 6-month-old son seemed really daunting. However, from the moment I stepped into Garden Cottage Nursery, I just knew that it was the right place for him. The staff are absolutely amazing and they ALL know my son's name, even if
he's not in their class. The care and attention that goes into each and every child is evident. The development that I have witnessed in my child is astounding. The nursery has helped hugely with stages in weaning, learning words, activities and socialising with the other children. One of the fundamental points for me that was so important was finding a nursery that had babies the same age as mine and knowing that there was a dedicated room for babies all of similar ages was really comforting. My son absolutely loves going there and it's like dropping him off to extended family. I feel blessed to have our son in a safe and loving environment.

Garden Cottage Nursery is quite simply outstanding. Choosing this nursery has been one of the best things we have done for our son. The staff are nurturing, bright and extremely hardworking. The values that this nursery hold are second to none and the lengths that they go to to ensure the children
are happy, healthy and constantly learning, is just incredible. They collect eggs from the chickens, feed the donkeys and have their own forest school where they make bonfires and make mud pies in the mud kitchen. I couldn't ask for more from a nursery and I am so incredibly grateful to have them on my doorstep!
