Butterfly Nursery School, Horne

Well, what can I say? The manager and her wonderful team have looked after and nurtured both of my children. I have one child that has just left to go to primary school and one that still goes there. My children have thrived here. They are always excited and keen to get there which I think speaks volumes. I would happily recommend this wonderful nursery to any of my peers, as I have nothing but positive things to say. The staff care for your babies like they were one of their own and the bonds the children have with them are wonderful to watch. I feel safe leaving my children there knowing they are so well looked after. They have been able to learn and experience lots of things whilst making friends and having fun! Thank you to Butterfly Nursery School.

I would also like to praise the flexibility and great communication offered which is rare in a childcare setting.

The nursery accommodated my child’s food intolerances. I have recommended Butterfly Nursery to some of my friends already and always will. They are amazing!

My daughter has been going to Butterfly Nursery School since she was 9 months old. Every single staff member at the nursery are incredible. When my daughter first started, it was so difficult for me whilst I was returning to work. But staff were amazing and made the transition so much easier. My daughter loves going to nursery and I love when she comes home with little arts and crafts. She has truly bloomed and I believe this is with all the attention and care that she is given at nursery. I highly recommend Butterfly Nursery School.

We would highly recommend Butterfly Nursery, our daughter seems incredibly happy there evidenced by her blowing the staff kisses when she leaves and it is a weight off our mind leaving her for the day knowing she is safe and cared for by all of the staff.

Butterfly Nursery School, Horne is brilliant. My son went here and progressed so well and now my daughter goes here and she is coming along very well. All staff are helpful, polite and very supportive. I cannot fault anything about the nursery. My daughter is excited to go every day and comes home very happy and is always talking about everything she does throughout the day. Sending your young ones to nursery can be nervous for us as parents as well as the children but I feel so happy and confident about talking my daughter to Butterfly Nursery School, Horne. A very fun environment for the children.

I can't recommend Butterfly Nursery School, Horne enough! Our daughter started in January and she really struggled first off from being separated from home but the manager and her team have been so incredibly kind with easing our daughter into nursery life and now she is doing so well. The flexibility the nursery offers has massively helped alongside excellent communication from the manager and her team. I was able to call up and check-in to see how she was doing anytime, this gave me such peace of mind. I am so incredibly happy that our daughter goes to this nursery and the manager and her team do an amazing job and go above and beyond for the children and parents. There is always a different activity happening and the outside space is wonderful, this was one of the main reasons why we picked this nursery.

Communication is excellent. Each day we received a handwritten sheet of our son's activities, nappy changes and meals but more importantly, all the staff knew exactly what he'd been up to and genuinely appeared invested in his development and happiness.

We are really happy we found Butterfly Nursery and would highly recommend any parent looking for a safe and happy nursery for their children to give these guys a call.

After visiting several nurseries without getting a 'feeling' for any of them we found Butterfly Nursery. Once we met the manager and looked around we were both in agreement that this was the place we wanted our children to go. The manager and all the team really do care and offer the peace of mind you need when leaving your babies with them for the day. Our boys really enjoy their days at nursery and are really excited when they know they are going and the car journey home is full of what they've done that day and who they've played with, what they've eaten etc, always full of enthusiasm even though they might be tired! The manager has always been really accommodating with extra sessions, even in the event of short notice, this was something that wasn't offered at other regimented nurseries we visited. We are really happy we chose Butterfly Nursery and would highly recommend them.

Staff are very friendly and the nursery are very flexible with hours and days needed. My daughter (and previously son) learn a lot from the nursery, coming home counting etc.

Our son goes to this nursery 2 days a week and was very glad to see him happily going back after this long break due to COVID. He likes the staff and children very much and is enjoying going. Looks very clean and they do lovely dinners/lunches for them.

Both my children have been so happy at Butterfly's. They never want to leave at the end of the day. It's a small nursery which makes it personal and more like an extended family. I will be very sad on my daughter's last day as it will be the end of an era.

Over the last five years both my daughters attend/attended Butterfly Nursery in Horne. The staff are great and very welcoming, both daughters enjoy/enjoyed the activities, learning and the food. From talking to others who send their children to different nurseries in the area, they don't get the flexibility with hours and cost, etc. as to what Butterfly can give.

We love Butterflies. My daughter is thriving there and the staff is friendly, caring and approachable. The setting is cosy and homely and my daughter loves going there. She always brings home lovely creations and loves the outside area.

Both of my children have attended Butterfly Nursery from just before/after two years of age and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door on our initial visit and it is clear they have lovely relationships with the children. I have therefore always felt happy and reassured knowing that they are very well looked after, enjoying themselves, making friends and doing fantastic activities. The nursery appealed to me also for its relatively small size and calm atmosphere, the flexibility on hours and also particularly because it has a great outdoor area, so the children spend plenty of time outside too. I would thoroughly recommend Butterfly Nursery.

I have had children here for 3 years and they have enjoyed every single day. The staff are always cheerful and have been very accommodating to fit in with my working hours.

I went to view a few nurseries that didn't feel right and was actually thinking about delaying returning to work - until I found Butterfly Nursery. The people are lovely and the cost is reasonable and they are flexible!
