Tots Village Nursery

Our child has been attending Tots since 2021. They have blossomed within the Tots environment. All the staff get to know the children so well, making them feel comfortable and happy within the environment. Tots staff are so enthusiastic, often thinking of new and fun activities to do with the children, which makes attending nursery so exciting for our child. They have a great mix of teaching children educational topics whilst also equally promoting good manners and communication.

Tots Village is an outstanding nursery. It has a real sense of community and family feel to it. The staff are brilliant, from coming up with engaging ways for the children to learn, serving nutritious meals, and providing feedback on our child’s development - every interaction has been so positive. The range of activities available is fantastic. I’m particularly impressed with the pre-school teachers and the support they provide to get our daughter ready for school. They have provided the most fantastic early years foundation.

Being a first-time parent and going back to work after maternity leave was pretty daunting - and I knew I absolutely had to have a nursery lined up that I had 100% faith and confidence in. Tots Village does just that - the staff (at every level) are amazing and show genuine care and support for the children (as well as the adults!) and the level of reassurance, by way of check-ins and updates, is second to none. The key workers are passionate, engaged and enthusiastic - and my son is so happy with them. Tots' Ofsted report is outstanding - and you can absolutely see why - they are amazing and I literally can't speak highly enough of them.

We are beyond impressed with Tots. I'm not sure how they find such gems of staff. Each and every member of staff are so passionate about the kids and their development. They genuinely love the children there. We have had some concerns over some behaviour from our children at home over the years and we have been blown away by the care and time that's been put in to help us work together to solve the issues. The support they have given us as a family is beyond outstanding. They go above and beyond. Our children love it at Tots and we couldn't be happier that they are being cared for by such loving staff. The Manager in particular is one of a kind and this filters down to the whole team. Thank you Tots for everything you do and have done for us. You're doing so much to build such well rounded, kind, considerate and happy adults of the future. We wish you all the best!

The care that goes into making children feel welcome, special and safe at Tots is incredible. Both of our children have settled so quickly and absolutely love being at nursery. They have also both developed so much and so quickly - real thought is given to how to help them understand themselves and the world around them better. We couldn’t be happier.

Tots is an outstanding nursery. Our children are so happy there that they launch in every morning without a backward glance and at night just before bed our son regularly says thank you for his key workers and sends them love. The staff are fantastic, organising a great range of stimulating activities whilst also working with our children on their physical, social and emotional development. They’ve been particularly great at helping our son to manage his emotions and stop sucking his thumb. The facilities are excellent with a range of toys, spaces and activities that offer lots of variety, fun and development. We love that there are themes and schemes of work for the children to develop their learning and understanding of the wider world, reflecting the thought and creativity that the staff put into thinking how to develop the children.

She has thrived whilst attending Tots and we couldn't have picked a better nursery for our daughter.

We love Tots Village. Our son has been there now for over 12 months and he loves going in every day. His settling was so easy and from the first day, we felt like Tots Village was our extended family providing all the love and support our son needs to become fully independent. We love all the events planned for kids and for parents. We love that the staff cares about all the kids and for example, recently introduced a nutritionist to create a fun nutritious menu.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Tots Village! Our daughter loves it there and has really developed over the year or so that she's been going. The facilities are excellent, both inside and outside, but the thing that really makes the nursery such a treasure is the people. Every member of staff knows our daughter and recognises us, and they're all incredibly friendly and warm. It's a joy to see them interact with the kids and there's so much affection and kindness in the whole environment. We love Tots Village and can't recommend it highly enough!

Tots Village is amazing and I don’t say that lightly! We have 3 children, all of whom have been or do still go to the nursery and they all absolutely love it. There are so many wonderful aspects to what they do there but above anything else, it’s the care and love all the staff have for the children that shines through in every moment. They are so passionate about making sure the children are having fun and learning but also feeling safe and secure. The bonds the children have made with their key workers are such special relationships and they see them as family. They always do such interesting and varied activities with the children so they experience a lot whilst they are there but also help teach them good values and the importance of kindness. You can’t explain the feeling of warmth that you get when you are at Tots, it’s just an energy that is so unique. Thank you to everyone there for being such wonderful people and creating that special environment for our children.

Our son has been at Tots Village since November 2023, his 2 week settling in period was excellent, allowing a gradual introduction to the nursery. He absolutely loves going to nursery and this is a true testament to the love, support and care every single member of staff gives the children. He has come on so well developmentally thanks to all of the effort and thought that goes into the activities they arrange for the children on a daily basis. We cannot thank the staff enough and feel so lucky to have him in their care.

My son has been with Tots for the last couple of years before he joins school in September. During that time he has been overwhelmingly happy there, always ready to run through the door in the mornings. This is due to the kind and supportive staff who not only build bonds and trust with every child but help them develop confidence and coach them at every step of the way. It’s a truly outstanding nursery and was the best decision sending my son there.

Top class nursery, can’t thank the Tots team enough! We have 2 children there, both of whom love going to nursery and have progressed massively under their care. Best in the area by a country mile and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!

The nursery staff and management have made a full-time working mum at ease with going back to work with how my daughters are looked after. My daughters are excited to come to nursery and have learnt so much from their time there. The parent app is a great platform for me to quickly see how the girls are doing. Also for the staff to inform me of how they are doing. For example, my daughter was upset going to nursery and was quite upset, I had to work and the nursery messaged me to make me feel at ease straight away with a picture. I am a teacher at the school, my girls are so involved in their nursery play that they wave quickly and then carry on enjoying their day. That just shows how much fun and learning they do and are not bothered that they see me around school.

They really are outstanding in every way. Thank you to everyone at Tots Village.

After having a not-nice experience with my son at another nursery I was nervous to send my child to another nursery. However, the nursery did not disappoint they have been welcoming and shown such care and consideration for my son and have given me such confidence and ease I am leaving my child with such lovely caring ladies. I can’t fault them five-star care and five star service.

Tots Village is truly an outstanding place to send your child. My child feels so safe and secure there I wouldn’t dream of sending her anywhere else. Tots Village staff are kind and caring and provide such brilliant educational opportunities for the children. I couldn’t fault them in any way. Even the environment from the outdoor play areas and indoor rooms for the children are special, homely and educational. My child has come on leaps and bounds since settling in there a year ago and she is so happy and confident there.

We have 2 children at Tots and we love it so much! In the 3 years we have been a part of the nursery, we have never had a problem. Everyone seems to know my children whether they work in their room or not. From day one they knew straight away who my husband and I were collecting which made us feel so special, even more so that they knew us already by first name. A few times we have had grandparents collect our children, they have phoned us, asked for code words, pictures etc. very reassuring that our children are in safe hands. They smile, they educate, they have so much energy and my children talk about the staff all the time with such fondness. We are updated daily through the app so we always know what’s going on and they have regular parent evenings to give us the opportunity to come and see for ourselves how our babies are getting on. It will be a sad day when both of my children are too big for tots. The outstanding Ofsted report is justified and well deserved.

This nursery truly is outstanding in every sense of the word. We have been blown away by the compassion and dedication of every staff member that we have encountered. Our first child started during full lockdown (January 2021) and has thrived ever since, and she absolutely loves it there. Our second child has started recently and we couldn't be happier with the empathy, understanding and communication we have with all of the staff. Valuable and purposeful learning experiences are provided. Both of my children love all of the meals, and they always come home happy. We couldn't be more pleased with their well-being and progress.

My son knows every single member of staff, even ones that haven’t directly looked after him. He adores being there and sometimes doesn’t want to come home. It’s such a difficult thing leaving your child in the hands of other people, for me it made the process of returning to work that much easier, as I felt so comfortable leaving him there.
