Playdays Nursery Lingfield is based in a former village school situated on the main A22 between East Grinstead and Godstone. They first opened in 2007 and have gone from strength to strength, building a team of long standing, dedicated and passionate practitioners.

They have a large, private car park which means you can drop off and collect your child safely and quickly.

Inside their building they have areas and rooms dedicated to the age and stage of your child with resources which meet the developmental needs of each child.

They have a very large outside area, with all ages having free flow access to their own gardens and one large communal garden.

Our daughter absolutely loves her time at nursery. The staff are fantastic – caring, considerate and passionate about what they do. Weekly and daily activities are well planned with just the right amount of fun and learning combined to keep the children engaged. She can’t wait to get there in the morning
and jumps straight into the new day’s activity, sometimes without even taking her coat off! But most importantly, she comes home with a huge smile on her face at the end of every day.

My 2-year-old son has been attending Playdays Nursery Lingfield for 6 months now. When starting he suffered from extreme shyness and selective mutism and it is down to the dedicated and passionate staff that my son is now talking to. They go out of their way to support strategies to support my son and
feedback to me regularly.
The app is a fantastic way to keep parents up to date with day to day activities and photos which is always wonderful to receive.
Every day I get updated on his eating, potty use and sleep. They take infection control and health and safety seriously and take every measure to ensure the children are safe and healthy.
I could not be happier with my son attending Playdays and have no constructive or negative feedback at all.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2017

Hello my name is Gemma and I am the Nursery Manager.
I have worked for Playdays since April 2017.
I hold an NNEB qualification and have held managerial roles for 11 years and I have worked in childcare for over 20 years.
I am also the nursery's Special Educational Needs Coordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


Our nursery is a welcoming environment for children and their families. From the first day children start with us, to the day they leave us to go to school we strive for the children to achieve their full potential, whilst also having fun and making friends!
Working together with parents is key to ensuring each individual child’s needs are met, and I find it so rewarding watching the children grow and develop in an environment I have helped, alongside my fantastic team, to create.


It would be a pleasure showing you our homely, friendly nursery where you can come and spend some time meeting the children and the staff.
