With over 30 years of experience and a passion for Early Years and play-based learning, I feel
privileged to be part of your child’s early journey. My career has taken me across both state and
independent sectors, working with young children at every stage of the EYFS foundation stage.
Every day brings something new, and I am constantly inspired by the joy, curiosity, and endless potential that children bring. Just like the children, I’ve never stopped learning – it’s this shared journey of discovery that makes Early Years so special.
I am committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I aim to support children in all aspects of pre-school life and, with the help of our wonderful Nursery practitioners, create a
safe, loving space where every child can thrive. I believe each child is a unique individual with a natural curiosity and thirst for learning. Through good-quality early years education and an enabling environment, we build strong foundations for each child, helping them develop and progress in away that’s right for them at the very start of their educational journey.
I am a mum of three. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and walking my two dogs.
With over 13 years of experience in early childhood education, I am deeply passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to flourish.
The early years are a magical time, filled with curiosity, discovery, and potential, and I find immense joy in supporting children as they embark on their educational journey.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), building a strong understanding of how to create stimulating spaces that encourage exploration, creativity, and growth. I see each child as a capable and curious individual and take pride in tailoring activities to their unique needs and interests. My goal is to instil confidence and foster a genuine love of learning in every child.
I believe that families play a crucial role in a child’s development and work hard to build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers. I aim to create a sense of partnership and reassurance that their child is cherished and supported.
My approach is rooted in kindness, empathy, and patience. I am particularly interested in child psychology and behaviour management, focusing on understanding the emotions and
experiences behind behaviours. By nurturing self-esteem and emotional resilience, I help children develop a strong sense of self-worth and confidence in overcoming challenges.
I bring my love of music and creativity into the classroom, finding ways to engage children through songs, rhymes, and hands-on activities that spark curiosity and joy. My commitment is to provide a safe, loving, and inspiring environment where every child feels celebrated for who they are and empowered to thrive.
