Footprints Montessori Day Nursery

Two of our children attend this nursery and have gone through several of the classes experiencing different staff and classrooms, and I couldn't recommend or speak more highly of all of the staff we've interacted with over the years. The care and attitude of everyone is amazing and both children absolutely love it.

My daughter has been at footprints since Feb 2024 and she absolutely loves it! She is about to move into her final room for pre-school. What I love about footprints is the staff. They are loyal, caring and committed to looking after the children. That's what sold footprints to me. I also like that the children move rooms, I have seen my daughter develop so much in each room and get to know all the staff along with having her key person. The facilities are good, some good outdoor space. The room leaders really take pride in their rooms and this shows when we get to visit at open evening every year. I would highly recommend footprints xx

My son who is off to school in September 2026 has been at Footprints since February 2025 when we moved to the area. The thing I was most anxious about when moving was ensuring my son was in good hands and that he was. He was instantly cared and loved for, looked after, having fun and learning. He has turned into such a confident boy and is definitely ready for school and a majority of that is down to his time at Footprints and their lovely staff! My second son is there too as I wouldn't feel comfortable sending him anywhere else but Footprints.

Our daughter currently at Footprints is our third child to attend the Nursury. I often joke with the staff that I'll need to get a job there when she finishes. The staff are incredible and over the years they have become like family to us. The children are happy, they learn heaps, eat incredible meals and most importantly are looked after and cared for by the most wonderful staff. I can't thank Footprints enough for everything they have done for our children.

If you are fortunate enough to live close enough to Footprints, I would strongly recommend it. It's a truly great nursery.

Our younger child has completed two years under the care of Sandra and her wonderful team. We could not be more delighted at the progress we have seen. This is a genuine Montessori nursery, with activities that are always purposeful and designed to develop confidence, tidiness and good behaviour. Woodwork and sewing are examples of activities not available in other nurseries that Footprints offers older children. The children learn about the changing seasons, nature (taking advantage of the adjacent woodland) and play in their beautiful garden. They study art and artists.

At drop off the children are consistently happy to go in. The food is well portioned; we have never had to top up our child because they did not have enough to eat. The nursery has also benefitted from a recent extension, with two new classrooms.

Finally, the staff are experienced and kind.

Footprints is an excellent Montessori nursery and have provided our sons with a safe, stimulating environment since they started there. They particularly enjoy the outdoor activities eg, walks and forest school and are excited to tell us about the activities they have been doing each day. The staff are kind, supportive and welcoming, as well as being extremely competent and genuinely caring about the children. I would have no hesitation in recommending Footprints to other parents.

Both our children love Footprints Montessori Day Nursery. The staff are fantastic and the outside space is really appreciated. It's such a cheerful place for children and adults alike. I'm genuinely delighted we chose Footprints Montessori Day Nursery for our children.

I cannot recommend Footprints enough - they have been so supportive. We were new to the area, and it was a big change for our children. The whole team were wonderful, helping us as a family to settle, and even after a few months, we saw a huge learning pimp with our daughter, who started to write her name and develop a new interest in learning. It is a wonderful, warm and nurturing setting.
