Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Cranleigh

Having a little one with several (and severe allergies) the first thing we looked at was the overall cleanliness of nurseries and Christopher Robin stood out to us for that- I felt at ease leaving her in very capable hands and she settled in very quickly. The staff and manager put us at ease regarding her allergy needs and a year and a bit later she has made some special bonds with staff and other children alike. (But to be honest more so with the girls looking after her!) I can clearly see every single member of staff loves children and the amount of activities they do is so much better than I could do at home - (and also not every mum loves glitters on the kitchen floor!) She loves it and I can see she really thrives there.

We are (and have always been) extremely happy with the level of care and learning provided by Christopher Robin.

It has an extremely welcoming and family based atmosphere and our child loves her time there.

She is thriving in the environment and we are happy we have chosen Christopher Robin Cranleigh to help us bring up our child at this important time of her life.

The staff, parents and other children are our extended family, that is how close and good we consider our relationship with Christopher Robin - Cranleigh. Our daughter has responded extremely positively to the supportive environment offered by this nursery. It has prepared her for school and society in general to a very high standard.

I love Christopher Robin, the staff are really supportive and flexible to suit the needs of my boys. I get a sense that they genuinely enjoy spending time with them. When my son comes home, he always talks about what he's been doing in the day and he looks forward to returning the next day.

My experience with the nursery is excellent. They are very caring and helpful especially as my grandson is a cancer patient, his development is behind. The nursery has done so much to help him and his speech is coming on well now. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.

I happily recommend the nursery; both of my children have been through every room and have enjoyed each stage immensely. Over the past 5 years, I have never felt any concern leaving my children in the charge of the welcoming and caring staff and brilliant manager, their enthusiasm and interest in every child is impressive and heartening. The baby rooms were nurturing and caring, and the older children room is a safe, social and stimulating environment in which both my children have blossomed. Even my fussier younger child has enjoyed the food on offer; I have been particularly impressed at the staff's ability to persuade her to engage with new food experiences (most recently Chinese food) and discuss different cultures and celebrations. The activities offered (e.g. French and Sport) and efforts to prepare the older children for school have kept my children engaged and learning and my elder child's transition to school were definitely smoothed by this preparation.

I looked at many other places and this is by far the highest level of all round service.

Friendly staff and a wide range of activities have meant that my children have been very happy here. The staff are willing to help in any way and make the children feel happy and comfortable. As a parent of children with hearing problems, the nursery has adapted to meet their needs and sent staff on specialist training to ensure they can support the children. This has been a great support and we have every confidence in the nursery to look after our children well.

Lovely nursery - very caring staff with lots of fun activities. My daughter attends 4 days a week and is normally disappointed when I tell her today is not a nursery day. Staff are always happy to help.

It is very clear from the moment we walk into CRDN Cranleigh that our son is going into a very happy and welcoming environment.

The manager and her team are fantastic at keeping up with our very energetic boy, whilst ensuring that there are clear boundaries for him to follow. This means that he is encouraged to learn and experience new things on a daily basis, from cookery to gardening to painting and role play.

We are so pleased that we chose this nursery for our son.

Since joining Christopher Robin Day Nursery my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and she is very happy going there. The nursery itself is a bright and fun environment and it provides the backdrop for more effective learning. Very warm and welcoming. Very accommodating towards dietary requirements. Been very flexible for swapping days/adding last minute days. The one negative I have is my son comes home overly stimulated. He doesn't go to sleep at night time. More structure and an end of day quiet time would be good.

I have felt 100% confident leaving my daughter at the nursery, knowing that she is being well looked after, is enjoying herself, interacting with other children, and learning at the same time. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

Fantastic environment for my little girl to grow, learn and have fun. The team are brilliant at bringing the best out of my little girl. All three of my children have attended Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Cranleigh and would not change my choice of childcare. I have two boys at nursery in separate rooms and the staff are fantastic. They genuinely care about the children they look after. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. The children always seem to be doing fun, engaging activities and you can tell that staff have accounted for each child's specific needs. The outdoor areas are fantastic, allowing children to explore and get muddy! I love the ethos of the Montessori care and my boys are certainly benefitting from it. It would be great if there was a slightly earlier opening time of 7:30am and that childcare hours could be used in a more flexible way to allow those who work a couple of days to take advantage of all the hours available.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. The staff are excellent and it is so reassuring that the turnover of staff is so low. The children are extremely fond of them all and always gives them big cuddles at the end of the day. The days are well-structured and the learning is at the right level - challenging, but remaining fun! The provision of sports lessons by an outside teacher is fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by my little boy. The facilities are small but completed to a high standard. I am particularly impressed with the teaching aids and the food is amazing - I've definitely taken some recipe ideas.

I cannot fault our experience of Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Cranleigh. The staff have always been welcoming, friendly, dedicated and helpful. They really care about the children as individuals. Their flexibility has been amazing in helping me manage work as a self-employed consultant. I will genuinely miss them when my son leaves for school at the end of this month!

Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Cranleigh has been a huge support over the last four years. As a mum, I have always felt safe leaving both my children with the staff. They are friendly and helpful. They listen to the children's individual needs and are very approachable. I would certainly recommend this nursery.
