Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Woking

We’ve really loved our daughter being at Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Woking. From when she joined at a year old through to now being 3, we’ve watched her flourish and enjoyed hearing about all the exciting activities she gets to enjoy and learn through. Every member of staff brings their own individual warmth to our child’s day and we feel very lucky to have them as part of her development. Would highly recommend and hope our second child will join her in a few months.

This nursery has been wonderful for my twins (almost 2). The staff are kind, caring and attentive and we really feel like we are part of a family-feel environment. The independence they practice in the rooms has meant the twins have thrived and I can see a difference in their confidence since they started here. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Overall, management and one-to-one interaction with kids is the key highlight.

We have had an excellent experience of Christopher Robin Day Nursery for our two daughters. We have found the team in both the rooms and the office to be very responsive to requests and needs and both our daughters clearly love and trust the nursery. I didn’t rate the food here as I haven’t seen it myself but I know that my daughter comes home happy and well-fed and I’m pleased the snacks are healthy. Value for money: yes absolutely in terms of the quality of the setting, service and care provided; it is expensive for us but that is a problem with government childcare policy and funding, not the nursery’s fault. I appreciate the nursery’s efforts to manage the challenges of the current context and the cost to parents. We really value the overall ethos, homely setting and amazing garden and our daughters clearly love the nursery, have had all the support they need for their development and come home happy every day.

A wonderfully encouraging learning environment staffed with people who are genuinely passionate about your child’s development. In two years neither of my children have ever come home having had a bad day; they love their days at Christopher Robin Day Nursery. Our eldest will no doubt be very sad to move on when she starts school. I have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery.

Had 2 of 3 kids attend 2019-2023. Central management is disconnected from the impact of decisions on families. When responding to concerns raised it is business first (understandable to an extent, but not wholly as their business is children) & rationalising everything. The Woking manager is not visible nor personable. Our experience has been she is unapproachable, defensive, and unapologetic. The deputy manager is really enthusiastic and invested in the nursery. Her passion for children and their families is very present. By and large, my boys have been well cared for by their key workers with concerns raised about one two years ago. Two in particular we are sad our third won’t be with at nursery. Third is not attending with very late notice they had no room and no communication beforehand. It was a concern or attempt to come up with a solution. Our settled three-year-old has moved to be with his brother at an alternative nursery. The manager never acknowledged three-year-old leaving or even pretended he would be missed.

My son absolutely adores Christopher Robin Day Nursery and it's such a relief to drop him off and know he's in excellent hands. His key worker has kept us up to date with his development and the handovers each day are always thorough. Thanks so much!

Our son has been attending Christopher Robin since September 2020 and has transitioned between the three rooms. We recently had our 1st stay and play in Rabbits which was a great way the nursery interacts with the parents as the kids love showing their parents their room and what they do. The teachers are caring and work to build soft skills and developmental things like holding a pen. Our son loves the outdoor play and the French on Fridays, I've recommended Christopher Robin to other families and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

My youngest started at a year old in the baby room and also settled so well. He wants to come to the nursery and helps get himself ready to go in the mornings. The nursery workers are also very attentive to the younger children, have been very good and vigilant with his allergies, and supported us in improving our child's routine which had been a struggle at home. We are very happy with the nursery and know when they are there they are safe and happy. The app that the nursery has is lovely to be able to see the pictures of their day and any special activities they have done also. So many other activities, cooking and French.

Christopher Robin Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery. Our 16-month-old started three months ago and has blossomed since he started there. The staff are friendly and communicative and our little one clearly trusts them and seeks comfort with them. They have great facilities, a lovely garden and put effort into doing creative arts and crafts and messy play. I would highly recommend! I leave our little one there every day with a peaceful feeling and find a happy boy when we come pick him up.

We have two children at the Christopher Robin Day Nursery in Woking, having moved here in June 2020. The nursery is generally excellent but its major strength is its people. That is the case across the three classes, our son and daughter have settled very easily. The key people allocated are genuinely invested and really care about the kids' well-being and development. Their outdoor space is massive and has a pretty good variety of extracurriculars such as French on Fridays. Would definitely recommend it to new parents.

My daughter has had such an amazing time at Christopher Robin Day Nursery. The staff are great and so caring. She goes in each morning happily, and I can see her progress thanks to all the stimulating and fun experiences they have.

Fantastic nursery where my son has flourished. Staff have been extremely encouraging and very caring. He has really developed well in all areas thanks to the staff and has made many friends. He loves attending and often talks positively of his time at nursery which, as a parent, is extremely comforting to know he is happy. Thanks to all the staff in Eeyores room!

Both of my kids went to this nursery, my little one still attending. They have both enjoyed the nursery. I know the manager and the staff very well. The staff turnover is low, which gives stability for the children. They have a good range of activities and keeps changing according to different seasons, festivities, themes and many more. The garden is lovely and big. Both of my kids have learnt lots of skills and are independent in wearing their shoes, pouring drinks, having their own food with cutleries. The food has the option of choosing halal food, which is great for Muslim families. The staff are prompt in contacting parents if there is any accident or the child has hurt himself. Drop off and pick up is smooth through the app. I would highly recommend.

Our daughter started at Christopher Robin Day Nursery just before her first birthday and we are very happy with it. Thanks to the teachers, she settled into the new environment very quickly and she really enjoys attending the nursery. The teachers are brilliant, always very helpful, kind and energetic and the management is very good. Our daughter loves the many activities they organise at the nursery and loves playing outside in their garden. The daily updates and photos that the teachers share showing what she has been up to are really lovely, and the stay and play session gave us a fantastic insight into how it’s run. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Our son has been at Christopher Robin Day Nursery since he was 10-months, and he truly loves each day he is there. The staff have been incredibly supportive of his additional needs and also obtaining support from outside agencies for his development. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for all of the support and for making each day a bundle of fun. I would not hesitate to recommend the manager and her team to a parent looking for an outstanding nursery.

Christopher Robin Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery that we would absolutely recommend to anyone. My son joined five months ago and absolutely loves it, he has absolutely flourished since being there and it’s all thanks to the wonderful team and manager, who are all so friendly, caring and very professional. We are so grateful to the team for all that they do and for complete peace of mind.

Christopher Robin really is an excellent nursery. We visited a number beforehand, but the atmosphere here is something special - it is truly loving, kind and fun! The staff are fantastic, and our son has really blossomed over the last year or so. They plan so many different activities, whilst ensuring the kids are able to learn through play as much as possible. The management has been excellent, especially through such a tough period. We love the parent portal, which allows us to see the days activities through pictures and videos. The facilities are fantastic, with a lovely garden, which the kids enjoy all year round! Overall, just a fantastic nursery, that is highly recommended.

The staff are great towards my child and really helped with his potty training; he loves to play with kids and staff.

Finding a nursery where you have total peace of mind that your children are happy and well looked after is really difficult. I visited 8 nurseries before enrolling my boys at Christopher Robin two years ago. Needless to say, I couldn’t be happier with that choice. The manager is a true professional and the team she has and the level of care they provide reflect this. The teachers are fun, kind and fully engaged, and both my boys are excited to go to nursery each and every day (5 days a week). Moreover, Christopher Robin has been extraordinarily accommodating in terms of doing what they can to help with our changing schedule/needs over the last two years, which has happened more than once! All in all, we are incredibly grateful for what we consider a 5-star nursery and would 100% recommend.
