Culham Nursery & Preschool

The nursery feels like home, as our daughter got used to the place quickly. The staff are nice to both children and parents. The management is respectful and flexible, which is something we missed in other nurseries.

Culham Nursery has been fantastic for the care and development of my daughter. She started at 11 months and is now 17 months and has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are extremely friendly and caring and I am glad I have somewhere so reliable and caring I can leave her while I am at work.

My son has loved coming to the nursery. Each time he has moved rooms, has always been when he is ready and happy. The staff always make time to speak with us at the beginning and end of the day so we always know how his day has been. The meals provided are cooked each day and a good variety is offered. I have always been confident that my son is well looked after, safe and happy.

The nursery staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Our son has really developed well since he started at this nursery, gaining confidence and becoming more independent. He has a good bond with his key worker which is lovely to see and all other staff are also well-liked. He has healthy meals which he usually enjoys. We are so glad we decided to send him here. We cannot fault it.

My daughter has loved her time at the nursery. She has learnt so much through creative play, made friendships, come a long way linguistically and thrived here.

We can't thank the staff enough and would highly recommend the nursery to anyone. She will really miss coming here but we will be back for sure.

My daughter has attended both the nursery and pre-school for two years now, starting at 18months old. I can’t recommend this facility enough. The setting is modern and clean and boasts a wonderful garden with lots of outdoor play and learning. The staff have been excellent in building a rapport with my daughter and I have every confidence in leaving her in their care each day. My daughter has thrived in the environment and seems to relish the increased structure of learning that pre-school provides. I have every confidence Culham Science Centre Nursery & Pre-school is absolutely the right place to nurture a love of learning and prepare my daughter so well for school and her next adventure!

Both my children attended Culham and we couldn't have been happier. It really is outstanding from the excellent facilities, toys, food, learning to the most wonderful staff that go above and beyond to give your children the best care and start in early years learning. We will certainly miss all the staff and children at the nursery. It has been the best decision bringing them to Culham and the hardest having to leave early. I cannot thank you all enough.

Our almost 3-year-old has been at nursery since he was approx 9 months old. He's always been really well looked after and has thrived with all the opportunities he has been given. Our older son left last year to go to school after 4 years and was so well prepared for school - academically and emotionally.

Every member of staff is excellent, they have become our extended family, they care for my son as I would. I couldn't ask for any more from them. A different theme and activities every week to keep the children interested. A fantastic outdoor space is also provided which my son loves. The food is fantastic, plenty of choice and variance. My son never comes home hungry. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and the happy children proves why this nursery has outstanding Ofsted.

Both my kids (1yr & 3yrs) settled quickly at Culham and have brilliant caring key workers that they love. They're always tired at the end of the day, but generally happy and have always eaten excellent healthy food and had fun. Culham has been a life changer particularly for my 3yr old, who was a very fussy eater but now eats so much better and particularly with all his friends ay Culham. The huge garden is brilliant and I live that the staff take them out in all weather. The manager is particularly approachable and friendly which makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend Culham to friends.

My son has been at the nursery for 18 months and loves his time there. There is so much for the children to do and learn with a special theme each week in each room. The outdoor space is fantastic and my son loves the food. The staff make a real effort to get to know each child and have been so supportive with earlier food intolerances and now potty training. My son has formed special relationships with both staff and other children and it's wonderful to see him so comfortable and happy.

Very friendly and happy nursery. Welcoming but at the same time keeps the children reminded of the need to follow rules thereby developing the children for the world at large. Lots of fun learning together with outdoor play. Meal times help to discipline whilst explaining new tastes. Manners are learnt in a happy fun environment. Delighted we chose the nursery.

We couldn't be happier with the care our son has received since being at the nursery. I always go to work assured that he is well looked after. He is always very happy and excited when I arrive to get him. Showing off and sometimes doesn't want to leave. He developed an amazing bond with the staff in the baby room, especially with his keyworker who we feel beyond lucky to have looking after our son. His development is coming on brilliantly in all areas which I believe is largely down to the time and commitment invested in him by the staff. An exceptional nursery with exceptional staff.

My daughter is always more than happy to go to nursery and I can understand why. They provide a great range of stimulating activities and all of the staff are caring and supportive.

This is a wonderful nursery, with great staff. The range of activities that the children participate in is very wide. The staff also have a great connection with the children, creating a safe comfortable environment for the to grow and develop in.
