Culham Nursery & Preschool

From the first time we came to visit, we knew that this was where we wanted our son to been looked after. He has always been so happy and has come along 'leaps and bounds' developmentally. The staff have always been so welcoming and have made leaving him at the nursery an easier process. The activities are varied and he always tells me he has had fun. It has made going to work easier knowing he is so well cared for.

We are extremely happy with the care provided for our son and have been throughout the time he has attended the nursery. He is extremely settled and happy at the nursery and has a great relationship with his key worker, room leader and another nursery nurse in his room. The nursery is very focused on his development and provides a wide range of activities and experiences. As a family, we feel very engaged with and supported by staff.

We used Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool for the first time with our eldest son. We cannot fault the nursery in any way. The team are fantastic and give the children the best care, love and attention. We now have our youngest at Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool and both boys absolutely love coming to nursery. Our eldest is now at school and is doing very well but still talks fondly of his memories of Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool. Our youngest is happy, content and settled at Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool and I believe this is thanks to your team! Well done.

My son loves going to nursery here. Every morning when I lift his bag, he gets all excited and will even direct me in the care when I get close. Since moving on to lower preschool his language and numeracy skills have improved immensely. Every day when I pick him up I am shocked at how much he has learnt. He is never upset when I collect him and he is always keen to tell me what activity he has done for the day. Handovers are always detailed and personal. There isn't a single carer in his room who he doesn't adore and talk about his home. He even runs to give them cuddles before he goes home. I thoroughly recommend this nursery to all our family and friends.

I adore this nursery. My daughter has been in attendance (2/3 days a week) for 2 years now and she absolutely loves it. She has great relationships with staff members, lots of little friends and she does so many great activities every day that she's there. The food is wonderful too. I always pick up a full, tired and happy child! She has learnt excellent table manners and interpersonal skills at Culham and I found the staff a wonderful help with potty training too. In many ways, they lead the charge on that for me, which was just great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Culham to anyone and I am very grateful to them for the wonderful care and attention that they give to my daughter.

Our son spent three months in the baby room. (three days per week) Staff took time to understand his routine and accommodated his cloth nappies and bottles of expressed breast milk with ease. We were impressed that he was able to choose his own key person and he formed a strong bond with her. We wish she could have moved up to the next room with him! The nursery is a lovely environment with a great outdoor space. A variety of toys, food and activities are always reported and our son seems very happy there.

A wonderful caring environment that has helped my little one to develop and excel. Staff are genuinely caring and have a wonderful relationship with her. Little one looks forward to going every week and is always excited to tell us about her day. Compared to some of the other nurseries we looked at Culham is worlds apart.

My child very much enjoys his time at nursery. I feel safe leaving him there for the day. He is well looked after, happy and supported. Feedback from his key worker is always excellent.

The nursery takes it's responsibilities very seriously and I have the utmost faith my child is getting the very best start to their education.

They are also prepared to work with us when it comes to things like sleeping and weaning.

The nursery feels like home, as our daughter got used to the place quickly. The staff are nice to both children and parents. The management is respectful and flexible, which is something we missed in other nurseries.

Culham Nursery has been fantastic for the care and development of my daughter. She started at 11 months and is now 17 months and has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are extremely friendly and caring and I am glad I have somewhere so reliable and caring I can leave her while I am at work.

My son has loved coming to the nursery. Each time he has moved rooms, has always been when he is ready and happy. The staff always make time to speak with us at the beginning and end of the day so we always know how his day has been. The meals provided are cooked each day and a good variety is offered. I have always been confident that my son is well looked after, safe and happy.

The nursery staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Our son has really developed well since he started at this nursery, gaining confidence and becoming more independent. He has a good bond with his key worker which is lovely to see and all other staff are also well-liked. He has healthy meals which he usually enjoys. We are so glad we decided to send him here. We cannot fault it.

My daughter has loved her time at the nursery. She has learnt so much through creative play, made friendships, come a long way linguistically and thrived here.

We can't thank the staff enough and would highly recommend the nursery to anyone. She will really miss coming here but we will be back for sure.

My daughter has attended both the nursery and pre-school for two years now, starting at 18months old. I can’t recommend this facility enough. The setting is modern and clean and boasts a wonderful garden with lots of outdoor play and learning. The staff have been excellent in building a rapport with my daughter and I have every confidence in leaving her in their care each day. My daughter has thrived in the environment and seems to relish the increased structure of learning that pre-school provides. I have every confidence Culham Science Centre Nursery & Pre-school is absolutely the right place to nurture a love of learning and prepare my daughter so well for school and her next adventure!

Both my children attended Culham and we couldn't have been happier. It really is outstanding from the excellent facilities, toys, food, learning to the most wonderful staff that go above and beyond to give your children the best care and start in early years learning. We will certainly miss all the staff and children at the nursery. It has been the best decision bringing them to Culham and the hardest having to leave early. I cannot thank you all enough.
