Prima Montessori & Day Nursery

My daughter went to Prima Montessori 2 months ago, she was reluctant to go at the beginning and crying a lot but gradually she started to love it and go to Nursery with her own initiative. Carers were friendly and professional in helping my daughter to settle down there. She definitely enjoyed playing and learning in the nursery and the most grateful thing is the nursery will upload some pictures of what my girl has done on that day so that I won't feel left out with her.

My child has really enjoyed their time at Prima Montessori over the last 2.5 years. The staff are very caring and professional and my little one always leaves having enjoyed the day. I would confidently recommend to others.

Excellent nursery I always feel confident that my son is being looked after well and his care is tailored to his needs. He has made great progress since he has been attending this nursery and the staff are very approachable.

My son has been attending Prima Montessori one long day a week since October 2020. He was initially reluctant to go in but the carers were very patient and understanding of him. Before long, he was happily going in every week and chatting about his week. As a first-time Mum, I was nervous about leaving him but my son has thrived since attending Prima. He has gained so much confidence around other people and I love how the carers pay particular attention to the current interests of the child. He quite often comes home in a change of clothes because he’s had so much fun doing messy play or digging in the garden; things I encourage. He also often comes home singing songs that he has learned or surprising me with new words. The team is always happy to answer any queries or concerns and I have full confidence in their care. I will definitely be enrolling my second child when the time is right.

My two children loved their time at Prima Montessori. My youngest started when she was only 6 months and now 3! And loved talking about all the amazing things they do. Great for learning. All staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. Definitely recommend.

My grandson ages 2, has been attending Prima Montessori for the past year, I often do the collection and find all staff to be very helpful and friendly, they give so much information about his day it makes me feel like I’ve been there with him. He learns and seems to have so much fun on nursery days, he always comes out happy and contented. Thank you to all the lovely staff for fulfilling his days and being so happy and caring.

My daughter loves the nursery. All the nursery workers are so welcoming and they all know my daughter's name when we turn up. They are so informative when I call up in the day to see how my daughter is and always so reassuring. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been coming here since January 2020, all the staff members are extremely friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s a very well managed nursery and they’re very good at keeping you up to date day to day. My little one does so many fun activities and has learnt so much. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Parents can rely on staff, that they will take good care of their child and keep all children safe.

I want to thank everyone who plays any part of this nursery from catering, key workers and management, it’s an absolute pleasure to send my child and know she’s so well cared for.

I am very happy with the service/care they give, be nice if the app can be updated as it used to be. I’m not sure if it’s because he has changed his hours etc but, don't get the updates that I use to get before lockdown. You do update with the activities done, but I’m not sure if he does them all and how he is developing as he does struggle with his speech, so he doesn’t always communicate about his day etc. Other than that really happy with everything.

Our son has only been with Prima for a couple of months, but we've noticed a huge positive change in his development since joining from another nursery in the area. We had a few separation issues initially, which the staff have approached in a caring and positive manner to reassure him to now feel really comfortable and settled here. The daily log is a really informative tool, and we're able to see all aspects of his day which is fantastic. Overall, a really lovely nursery and the staff are brilliant.

Our son has been attending Prima for 10 months since he 11 months old, and he was made to feel welcome and he quickly settled in. The staff genuinely care for the children and make themselves extremely accessible and available to discuss everything from nappies to development. The staff made it very personable and always come across as enthusiastic and motivated. Owing to Covid, the nursery has clearly adopted strict guidelines and cleaning, which is reassuring. My wife and I both feel our son is genuinely cared for and loved whilst at Prima, which is extremely reassuring and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Our son treats it as his only little activity filed home. Thank you, team.

I could not be happier with The Montessori Nursery. The staff are consistent, caring and focused on providing children with the best possible learning environment. Both my girls have attended. My youngest talks of wonderful experiences and her best friends which consist both of children and grown-ups. We have seen her progress with her creativity, numbers and knowledge. I love the creative approach they use to help children learn including their social and emotional development. She loves her days there and tells us it’s lots of fun. I will be sad when it’s her time to leave, but confident she’ll be ready for the next stage in her education.

All three of my children have attended Prima, with my youngest currently in his last year there at the moment. I truly believe the nurturing learning environment has given my older two a great start to their primary educational journey. All three have happily told me about their days at pickup or shown me with pride their creations they’ve made that day. I believe the low turnover of staff demonstrates a setting where the team are happy. I have had to have discussions about the various ‘phases’ my children have gone through and the staff have always listened, allowing us to come to a joint decision on going forward. Just a lovely setting that I would recommend to anyone, with no hesitation.

My child has been with Prima since she was six months old. I have to say, after looking at a variety of nurseries beforehand, when walking into Prima I instantly felt welcome by every member of staff; I knew my child would be well looked after, safe and feel secure by everyone and she still is today. Each member knows my daughter and always goes out of their way to say hello to her when she arrives for her day sessions. Every member of staff is lovely and so caring which is what makes my daughter love her nursery. My daughter is supported in her learning with new and exciting activities set for her to learn, they are engaging and fun. I am notified on a daily basis about her learning, what she has eaten, sleeping times and what she has enjoyed about her day. I love Prima, I love the staff and most of all I love how happy my daughter is.

Our son has been attending the nursery for over a year now, he is incredibly happy within his setting and although we had initial separation issues on drop off this was handled very well. The staff working within this nursery are always very helpful, giving excellent feedback on daily activities and always at hand in case we have any questions. I am so pleased that we chose this nursery for our son (happy boy = happy mummy).

My daughter aged 3 currently attends Prima Montessori and she absolutely loves it. She went to a different nursery before Prima, and we can honestly see such a difference in her learning ability as well as her confidence. The children do interactive fun activities (which parents are notified about with lovely pictures and updates) and it is always something different. The staff are lovely and you are always greeted with a smile. Thank you for all the staff's effort and time. It really goes a long way to show the quality of the nursery.

My son has been going to the nursery for over a year and he loves it. Not only are the staff friendly and supportive, but they are also informative, caring and attentive. My son has learnt so much and developed emotionally. They have a really broad curriculum which supports all aspects of my son's childhood. As a parent, I love seeing what he does every day and I always feel well informed.
