Little Fingers Day Nursery Reviews (7)

Our son is now in the preschool room having started in the baby room and moved through toddlers to 2-3 room. I cannot fault the staff or management of this nursery - particularly the way they handled lockdown and reopening with the COVID-19 pandemic. Communication is regular, policies are kept updated and charging decision have always been fair. This is a very safe and nurturing environment. At mealtimes children sit at tables and are encouraged to use cutlery correctly and wait for their friends to finish before dessert is served. Routines are established on the transition from the baby room to the toddler room and maintained through the rest of the nursery. Outside space is excellent and safe. The nursery is clean and bright and fresh inside. Very rarely do you hear a child cry. Our son is happy here and has developed socially, emotionally and linguistically as a result of being here. Food is well balanced. Activities are inspiring. I wish I could attend instead of going to work.
My daughter is now past the 2.5 years mark and she had spent more than half of her little life in Little Fingers. The best way to describe the nursery: my child is happy. She loves seeing everybody. She is content and is so proud of all of her achievements. Each child is treated as the only and most special child in the world, as a parent would. I’m not sure I understand the “good” Ofsted status. I read the justification from their sheet and disagree. In my opinion, it’s an excellent establishment. A simple example is when my daughter was moving to 2-3-year-olds group we were given a massive scrapbook with printouts of all of her daily pictures from the toddler room. I cannot put into words how much time, effort and even money must’ve been spent to do those for each child when it wouldn’t be an “Ofsted requirement”. This is one lovely place where love and dedication oozes from every corner. Needless to say: I cannot recommend the nursery enough.
Ok - so this is after just one day of my second son going to this nursery (older son went to another nursery).
Staff are really nice and accessible. Management is friendly and "real". Feedback on the day is detailed and emailed with a photo! This is an order of magnitude more satisfying than what our other son's nursery did despite them charging substantially more.
Cannot recommend this place enough (so far) - hope to see you there!
Oh and the outside space is HUGE and well divided up.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, especially if you are leaving your baby from a younger age. My daughter attended from 12 months and has been in both baby room and now toddlers and the staff have been constantly brilliant. There is a lovely family run business feel to it and the staff all communicate so well with each other and are so lovely and my daughter genuinely loves it here. They all seem to know every child by name, even if they aren't directly caring for them. As soon as we pull up in the car she smiles and squeals with excitement. I never have to worry about her. The new online contact sheets are amazing, I can check on her throughout the day and see exactly what fun she has been up to, you even get to see photos and see how happy they are which is so reassuring. We viewed a lot of nurseries but this one was by far the best.
Absolutely love Little Fingers, my daughters and son attend and I have recommended to family members! Staff are all very lovely and my children love it there! I am happy with every area of their learning and development!
Very good nursery. My son is always happy there and looks forward to going. Fantastic communication. Always made to feel welcome and know my son is being looked after.
We are very happy with our son attending Little Fingers Day Nursery. Super friendly staff, amazing outdoor grounds and fantastic hours (7am - 7pm).
