My daughter has struggled in previous nurseries, and joining Flower Pots has already been a great start.
Very warm and welcoming team. The nursery alone is fantastic and has a lovely atmosphere.
- sending children home in wet clothes.
- giving a child another child's medication.
- announcing that they believe my child has autism at the end of a setting around other parents when not qualified to do so nor in an appropriate manner.
- very high staff turnover and lack of resource (questionable whether the regulation ratios are adhered to).
- a child with developmental needs attends and the nursery has zero experience and constant delays in fulfilling their obligatory actions with assessments, SENCO actions, or reporting back.
- internal communication is very poor - additional information shared from parents from a private speech therapist and local authority for child with additional needs and staff are completely unaware over a 6-week period when questioned.
- had to resubmit 30-hour funding forms on 3 separate occasions as they kept losing paperwork.
Our daughter has been at Flower Pots Day Nursery since 9 months old. She’s now due to leave in a few weeks from the classroom. She has learnt so much from being at nursery she amazes us every day. We want to say a really big thanks to all the staff especially the classroom as she has really come out of her shell. We would recommend Flower Pots to everyone. Thank you so much for the past 4 years!
My daughter is in the classroom and they have been absolutely amazing with her! As a first time mum I was so worried to send her to nursery and worried if they would do a good job. But Flower Pots Day Nursery Adeyfield have been the best ever. Her teacher is an absolute amazing teacher. Her T.A's were also the best ever! Honestly, if I could I would leave her there 24/7 and not worry. We are going to absolutely miss them xxxx
Excellent nursery. I highly recommend this nursery to other parents. The facilities are excellent, the garden is great and my child loves playing outside. Staff are lovely and really care about your child. You get regular feedback and detailed daily reports and the staff are genuinely interested what your child does outside the nursery like going to a farm or Zoo. Activities are varied and there is a good variety of food. The nursery is very organised and requests such as giving my child medicine were no problem and all the necessary forms etc were completed. My child despite being very clingy to me loves going to nursery and I think that’s done to the lovely atmosphere at the nursery.
The baby room staff and managers are attentive and the activities they do with the children during the day have really built my son’s confidence.
My daughter has been attending flowerpots for nearly a year now and has flourished in many ways since attending - her confidence and physical ability, are just two of the progressive improvements. There have been some teething issues which have not affected my daughter's happiness and overall development in the nursery.
My 14-month-old boy attends this nursery. He starts early at 7.30am and has his breakfast with them. He absolutely loves nursery and doesn’t want to leave in the late evenings. The staff are ever so polite and caring, both towards our son and us as parents. We have daily updates and pictures via the app, which keeps us in the loop and to carry on similar activities at home. The baby room team are fantastic and listen intently to any problem. They have helped us when our boy has need extra naps and help with soothing him through the tooth thing stage. They have helped him to enjoy his food and to help ween him off of his milk! They have a lovely garden for the tots to also toddle about in - absolutely gorgeous! Very well managed and very clean! Would highly recommend!
I love this place and so does my child. As a mother, I deeply appreciate the staff being nice and caring. The facility is well thought of, rooms separated to keep the ages apart. My baby is happy and that makes me happy too. It’s very nice to know that she is in a caring environment while she isn’t home.
My daughter started nursery back in April and like all parents (more so as a 1st-time mum) I had a number of questions and worries
All staff at Flower Pots Adeyfield have been very helpful and understanding. They have supported my daughter to settle and tailored their care to her needs and our parenting values. As a result, we are very happy as a family and helped me a lot to settle back into work knowing she is very happy.
Highly recommended
It is a great nursery and the staff are brilliant and so friendly. It’s lovely to see what activities my son has been up to via Tapestry.
Amazing nursery and staff, cannot fault them at all. My son joined in September as he was a complete Covid baby. He was scared of people due to the pandemic and to build his social skills I thought nursery would be great. Again, so many nurseries to choose from and I was recommended this nursery by 3 other parents, and I’m so glad I went with this one.
After 2 months, my son was a completely different child and has no problem socialising with anyone now (even out and about he’s talking and blowing kisses to strangers, whereas before someone could look at him and he would have a meltdown). The team do such an amazing job, they also helped him with eating, talking and more. My son absolutely loves it there so much that we added extra hours for him. I would definitely recommend this nursery!
The staff at Flower Pots Day nursery made myself and my son feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door on our first visit. Everyone who works there is lovely and is there for the well-being of the children. My son absolutely loved his time there and really misses all the staff and friends he made there. I’d completely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for fantastic daycare for their children.
Our son has recently left Flower Pots Day Nursery to start school in September and he had a lovely time whilst there from 9 months old. The staff were very supportive with our son and helped me get the right support from the local authorities over his development delay. They worked tirelessly to help him during his time there and kept me well informed of his day to day life and fantastic achievements! There are lots of fun activities and a great garden, it’s a very clean spacious environment and our son loved the freshly cooked food provided. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will miss the staff very much!
Flower Pots Day Nursery (Adeyfield) made me feel welcome from the minute I looked around the nursery. Sending my 1-year-old lockdown baby to nursery was something I was petrified of doing. Not knowing how he would be without me and around other children. The team reassured me and answered every concern I had. The online portal is a great platform to allow you to see pictures of your little one. They are always there to give advice and are happy to take as many calls as you feel you want to make, to check in on your child. I would definitely recommend it.
Being born in lockdown she was really nervous around people but the girls have been amazing with her and she is coming in leaps and bounds! All the girls are really lovely and are really comforting for my daughter and she has learnt so much!
Couldn’t be happier thank you!
We are moving out of the area so having to move my daughter out of this nursery, however, I wanted to say what a fantastic nursery this is! They have looked after my little girl so well and she has thrived since starting here. Special shout-out to two members of staff who work in the baby room. I get regular updates and they have taken so much care since Covid-19 hit. I highly recommend!
My child has been attending Flower Pots for 2 years and we couldn’t be happier with the experience we have had over this period of time. We have nothing but positivity and praise for the staff, and my child absolutely loves it there.
My little girl started the setting in January this year. Being a baby born right before lockdown I was apprehensive as she hasn't ever left us before or seen other people. I didn't need to worry. They have been beyond welcoming and warming to her and she is settling in so well. My daughter has a very rare condition and has a disability. When we thought about sending her to nursery we were both worried and nervous she may not get everything she needs. I can not begin to thank the nursery enough. They have gone above and beyond to make my little girl and us as parents feel reassured and safe. The setting has so many activities each day to keep them busy and occupied and I have seen such a difference in my little girls confidence and social skills in the small time it has been so far.
My son has attended the Adeyfield Nursery for almost 3 years now, we live about 2 miles away from the nursery so this isn’t our nearest, but there’s no doubt, in my opinion, this was the best. So many plus points for me, when he started at 1 year old it was the homely feel and layout I particularly liked. The great outdoor space, even now it’s very secure and plenty of room for all to run around. The driveway, the ease of being able to park on a drive for pick up and drops off without worrying about roads. The staff have been fantastic from the beginning, welcoming and friendly. They really do go above and beyond they are a real credit to this nursery. Keeping all children interested in the weekly activities, learning and exploring, special dress-up days the list is endless... You know you’re in safe hands at Flower Pots and you’re children will be very happy there.
