Montessori by Busy Bees Glenalmond

Our daughter loves going to Busy Bees at Glenalmond. She gets very excited when she knows it’s nursery day. I feel the staff really know her well and fulfill her needs. The new manager is very approachable and listens to parent's views and takes them on board.

I am delighted with the care that Busy Bees at Glenalmond provides for my sons. The staff are caring and attentive to the needs of the children and have an excellent understanding of how toddlers learn and develop and how to encourage and nurture them. My sons both love spending time there and are excited the moment that they step through the door, which is incredibly reassuring for me as a parent.

I have built very good working relationships with their key workers, who always keep me informed of how they have been during the day, both in terms of the practicalities and their mood/behaviour /the activities that they have spent the day doing. The atmosphere there is very warm and friendly and the management have recently introduced lots of parent friendly initiatives, which have been greatly appreciated. They are also very flexible about accommodating extra days of childcare when needed.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to other parents.

We are very happy with Glenalmond, especially since a new manager has taken over running it. Our two boys go there and really enjoy it. They are encouraged to do a range of activities and they have flourished as a result. Their physical and communication skills have come on tremendously and we feel confident that their key workers will get the best out of them as they continue to develop. Glenalmond is a very welcoming place and the atmosphere is positive and constructive for children and parents alike, with the space and facilities making it a great place for little ones.

We are so pleased and happy with Busy Bees. Our daughter has only been attending since September but has settled in so well. She loves going to nursery and loves her key worker. Her development and speech have really come on since joining the nursery. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and we would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Our eldest son has been at the nursery since he was 10 months old and enjoys his time there. Staff have taken care to get to know him and tailor how they care for him accordingly. The current management has made several positive changes and I will gladly send my younger son there when I return to work. The food is varied and the staff take care to ensure that the children play outdoors in all seasons. Staff telephone us if ever there is a concern or minor accident and inform us when our son doesn’t seem himself.

He has a great relationship with his key worker, who always takes an interest in his life outside the nursery.

She eats and sleeps well there, and the staff say she is content with her peers and enjoys the various activities.

I have two children who are cared for at the nursery. They are happy and enjoy their days. The nursery management has a positive helpful attitude and are understanding with regards to the challenges of combining work and raising small children. They keep me informed of my child’s activities and address any concerns (not many) immediately. I have every faith that my children’s needs are being met and can relax knowing that they will contact me if they need anything.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees at Glenalmond since she was 1 and is now in pre-school which she absolutely loves. The pre-school seems like the perfect transition to get her ready to start school. Her recognition of letters and numbers is developing quickly and the staff are very good at encouraging her.

We have always found that the staff really take the time to get to know each child - their likes/dislikes, how to comfort them and how best to encourage them.

The outdoor facilities are great, there is plenty of space and a great range of outdoor toys. We particularly like that the children are taken outside as often as possible, year round. In summer, they love having breakfast in the garden and picnic tea-times.

Our daughter has allergies and the nursery policies in place have given us every confidence that all staff members are capable of dealing with her allergy needs. The chef has been brilliant in adapting recipes so our daughter can be included in meals with her friends.

We had no hesitation in sending our second son as well. He is in the younger room and we couldn't wish for any better care. The staff are very caring and have made real efforts to help him settle since he started before Christmas.

Our little boy was very happy for 3 years at busy bees Glenalmond and he was very well looked after especially by the Management team (three key management team in particular).

He' s now in reception at a local school and keeps asking when he's going back. He loved the staff and the friends he met. Thank you so much for a wonderful three years, you allowed me to work knowing my little boy was happy, healthy and having fun.

Two special mentions are the way you cared for him in preschool after he had been in hospital, you cared for him and loved him like your own. Also, the way the Manager and pre school teacher helped him settle when he was going through separation anxiety. Thank you very much.

Overall I am very impressed with Busy Bees and have highly recommended them to a number of friends.

The catering, which is all fresh and cooked on site is very accommodating to kids who have special dietary requirements.

The outdoor space is particularly good.

We transferred my daughter to Busy Bees Glenalmond when we moved from London in January 2015, a few months before her third birthday. The experience was really good. It's a lovely setting (especially the outdoor play area) in which she thrived. We found all the staff to be really nurturing and caring. They all take a genuine interest in what the children like as individuals and know how to distract them should they ever become upset. The pre-school facility was particularly good in ensuring that she was totally prepared for when she started school and the room leader and her staff were exceptional in assisting with this. I would have no hesitation recommending this nursery to anyone.

This nursery is amazing, the management and staff are super helpful and so friendly. I feel so happy leaving my child with them. She loves it too. We feel she has gained so much confidence and loves all the fun activities.
