Wonderland Day Nursery in Cheshunt, is a newly re-established day nursery. They have small play rooms that allow for a quiet calming environment for the children to settle into, fostering that family feel.

Staff provide a well-resourced environment that actively supports children to gain independence, make choices in their play and lead their own learning.

Staff place high importance on developing children's understanding of the way their actions have an impact on others. As a result, children develop good relationships and learn to manage their emotions well and show kindness towards staff and their peers.

Staff form strong partnerships with parents and provide them with regular updates. They use online Learning Journals so that parents have immediate access to their child's learning and development and what they have done throughout the day.

We are very happy with Wonderland, and both children are settled there. They have formed great relationships with their key workers, but one of the best things about the nursery is how every staff member knows every child well. The staff arrange interesting activities and we receive photos each day
so we can see what the children have been doing. The new menu is brilliant, and both children always eat well and enjoy their food there.

My son started nursery at Wonderland in March 2024 and I am more than satisfied. He loved all the teachers he had, including manager, he keeps tells me how nice they treat him. I have only words of praise, now being pregnant with my second I plan to give him to the nursery from the first months with
confidence. All respect for the entire staff, always open to communication and very helpful with regard to my son. Considering that he speaks two languages, this nursery has been a great help in his development. I am proud of my child since he has been going to this nursery

My son started beginning of February 2025. He has settled really well, is always so happy to go over to staff in the morning and always looks like he has had a great day when I pick up. My little one is only 7 months old and staff always check if his routine has changed every morning and keep me updated
during the day of how his day has been. He loves the food provided and the Chef checks with me if there are any updates to the list of foods he can have whilst he is weaning. Lovely team and lovely nursery!

My child has attended Wonderland Day Nursery since he was 1 and will be starting school in September. The staff are all incredibly kind and caring, and my child's confidence has continued to grow throughout our time here. The team do a lot to prepare the children for reception once they are in the preschool
room. As a small nursery, all the staff know all of the children, no matter whether they are in the baby, toddler or preschool room.
Since the new manager started last September, the nursery has really transformed and communication has improved and there is greater communication on the children's learning and development.
Another really great benefit of this nursery is their in-house chef who knows the children as well as the key nursery team. She prepares a great range of lovely and nutritious meals - my child never comes home hungry.

My son has joined this nursery since September 2022 and have thoroughly enjoyed his time at the nursery. Since starting at Wonderland Day Nursery he kept surprising me with new words that he has learnt and I can't fault any of the staff for the fantastic care and activities planned for the children
every day! The daily diary updates have been extremely useful and from there, parents are given a good idea of what their children have been eating and activities done every day. The nursery has continued to serve a variety of healthy meals and my son absolutely loves it (he eats all the food every time!)!

My son joined the nursery in September at 10 months old. He is now 17 months old and thriving. He is a happy, loving and friendly day little boy who fits in well with the rest of the children and teachers. He goes off every morning with a wave and no fuss. He is developing in leaps and bounds and his
speech is becoming more and more everyday, he loves reading and plays nicely with an array of toys. He loves messy play and I put this all down to the variety of different activities available to him on a daily basis. I have a good relationship with his key worker and all the staff at the nursery.

I want to say if someone wants to take their child to this nursery, please do it. There are wonderful women working there who will take care of your child very well and help you. The nursery's very safe. My daughter is already in her second year, she is 3 years old. Every week they are doing lots of

My daughter started her journey at Wonderland Day Nursery at the age of 2, around a year ago, and I could not have chosen a better nursery for her. The staff are amazing and so welcoming, not only to my daughter but also us, her parents. She comes home every day telling us all the exciting things she
has learned, and my goodness, the activities they plan for the children are just astonishing. The staff are amazing with her and have really helped her to progress in her overall development, especially her speech, which progressed really quickly within a short period of time. The manager is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The support and time she has given me and my child are beyond any expectations. The staff are amazing and really go all the way with preparing them for school readiness, along with supporting us as parents too! I truly cannot thank the Wonderland ladies enough for being a second family to my little girl.

I used two other nurseries prior and my son wasn't settling. This daycare is an amazing place, all the issues I had with my son refusing to go to nursery and the crying every morning stopped. He always looked forward to it. He became calmer in his personality and happier.
The staff were absolutely
incredible, the learning he was able to write his name and do his alphabet etc by the time he finished. I was really happy with this one.

My daughter is 40 months and has been attending Wonderland Day Nursery for approaching one year now.
When I first visited it wasn’t the best looking nursery we had seen and I found it quite small, which made me question my decision.
Oh, how wrong I was.
My daughter thoroughly enjoys her days here
and looks forwards to attending.
It's run by one of the nicest ladies you’ll possibly ever meet who is also in charge of the older children within the nursery. The manager is a caring, gentle and extremely approachable person, everything you would want from someone in charge of looking after your children.
My daughter's has two favourites although my daughter has gone to the “bigger girls class” now with one of the lovely staff, I’ve been told she still sneaks downstairs to be with the other staff member in the babies class to bake.
I honestly think Wonderland Day Nursery is fantastic and every single staff member is so lovely and warm.

My son started Wonderland Nursery this April, it’s his first time at a nursery and I was worried about how he was going to get on. To my delight, he got on like a fish in water.
I put this down to the members of staff there as they are so kind, very caring, very welcoming and also helpful.
My son
has a great relationship with all members of staff and can’t wait to get in there, he just about says goodbye and comes out with a great big smile on his face, what more could I ask for. I would definitely recommend the nursery.

My daughter has been going to Wonderland Day Nursery since she was 7 months old and is now nearly 2. Everyone in the team is so friendly towards her and she has definitely developed leaps and bounds because of the nursery. They are really great at communication and Tapestry throughout the day and week.
I also have to mention the quality of food is amazing, always something different and they are fantastic at introducing new flavours to children. My daughter sometimes never wants to leave and I couldnt recommend Wonderland Day Nursery and the team enough. A brilliant nursery and very skilled!

My son has attended the nursery since 2021. He has gone from a child that absolutely hated going to nursery (at his previous nursery) to one that absolutely loves it now that he attends Wonderland Day Nursery. He always comes home full of happiness and is excited to tell me all about the new things
that he has learnt each day, the fun he has had and about the yummy food he has eaten and learnt the names of. He has built a good relationship with the other children and all of the staff. Staff at Wonderland Day Nursery are always willing to help if there are any questions, and always spend the time to give a comprehensive handover, so that I know exactly how my sons day has been. My son is always happy to start his day at the nursery as he is always greeted with a warm, friendly welcome by staff. The manager is always there to deal with any queries promptly, and is always able to advise and help with any questions. By far the best Nursery we have had experience with!

My daughter has been attending Wonderland Cheshunt for one year now since she was 2-years-old. She is very happy to go to nursery, she loves the activities and she likes the staff
I have no concerns and recommend Wonderland highly.
Staff are kind and she has learnt so much and is very ahead of her
age. She loves to go to nursery and asks to go in even on her days off. They have a nice outdoor space with a cover for children to play safely in.

My son has been going to Wonderland Day Nursery since early this year 2021 and I can honestly say it's the most loveliest and caring nursery I know. My son loves it there and staff are very friendly and welcoming. He comes home and shows me everything he has learnt and he can now spell his own name
and his baby brother's name and sings me all the songs he has learnt. I always look on his tapestry and see happy playing photos and things he makes and things he brings home last week, he made gingerbread men for him and his little brother and was telling his brother how he helped make the icing and how much fun it was. He also has tried new foods and loved something new, I honestly couldn't ask for a safer and happy nursery for my son, highly recommend.

Wonderland Day Nursery is fantastic. I was so worried to leave my son whilst I worked, and the staff honestly ensured I was aware of everything and made me feel at ease.
My son loved all of the activities at the nursery and always had a little gift for mummy, whether it be a painting he has done or
a pizza he made.


The staff are lovely, kind and caring!
I could not have asked for a better group of staff to look after my son!
They are always there for both you and your children.

The staff at Wonderland Day Nursery have been very warm and welcoming. My son loves attending and literally runs through the gates for every session. He has developed wonderful relationships with the staff and is always so happy to see them. I can see the genuine care they have for my son and his development.
His social skills and understanding of language has come on so much in the two months that he has attended. I feel very supported as a parent and feel that they always make time to discuss my sons day and progress with me and they give me advice and support when needed.

Hello! I'm Lanka, the Nursery Manager here at Wonderland Day Nursery. With over five years of experience in Early Years education and I can say that I have truly enjoyed every moment of it.


In addition, I bring 22 years of expertise in marketing, having successfully managed 13 locations across 9 regions. On a personal note, my elder son is in his final year at university, specializing in AI, and proudly serving as his class representative. My younger son is preparing for his advanced Level exams in 2026, with aspirations of becoming a research scientist.


I am deeply passionate about supporting children's learning and development, helping them build strong foundations that will empower them to grow into confident, capable individuals. I’m excited to show you around our wonderful nursery and introduce you to our dedicated team. We look forward to meeting you and your little one(s) soon!

Hello, I'm Gulsah. I'm the Deputy Manager for the nursery and the Room Manager in the Baby Room and Toddler Room here at Wonderland. I have been working within the nursery for over 2 years and have enjoyed every moment of supporting the children in their overall development. I am a mother myself and have always carried the same passion in and out of work. This has helped me to build on my continuous professional development by bringing that passion into the nursery. I am very dedicated to working to my full potential to ensure the children have the best head start on their educational journey.
