The nursery staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. My Son's keyworker and the general staff in the baby room always take the time out to personally speak to and update me on my Son's development and needs.
The facilities are amazing, inside AND outside and the general atmosphere is one which welcomes, energises and makes you feel as though have left your child in very capable hands.
My daughter loves coming here and there’s never tears when we leave her.
Staff genuinely care about the children and do all they can to teach and guide as well as offer love and support away from home.
Cannot recommend enough
Our little girl has been at the nursery 2 and 1/2 years and our little boy just over 6 months. I can not fault the care, attention, learning, fun, supportive environment it is. The girls are wonderful! The kids love it there.
Our daughter really enjoys going to Charters. She has been there for about 9 months now and has made some toddler friends who she enjoys playing with! The staff are always helpful and friendly.
She will be incredibly sad to leave her friends and the staff who have been amazing and helpful.
Thank u!!
The staff and the care she has had over the years has been fantastic. The staff all take a real interest in the children and know them so well.
She’s had the opportunity to do loads of extra activities which have really helped her develop.
I am thoroughly pleased with our daughter's progress and happiness at Charters Nursery. The level of care is amazing, she knows her carers really well as the staff are dedicated and so caring towards the children. I thoroughly recommend this nursery!!
We have used Charters Nursery since 2014 when we enrolled our daughter, and have since enrolled our son too. We've always been impressed with the level of care the staff provide, the kindness shown to both children and parents, and how they focus on the learning and development needs of each individual child. They always have the child's best interests at heart and will work with parents if there is ever an issue. For example, our son took a while to settle into nursery life, so after chatting with senior staff and hearing their suggestions, we worked out a plan to help settle him - which worked. They know their stuff! Our daughter has since started school but loves to visit to pick up her brother and it's evident the staff love seeing familiar faces.
There are lots of daily activities, a great outside area for the children to explore, and I feel he is very well looked after - we have had no issues with any aspect of his care.
The staff are all very friendly and approachable and really seem to get to know the individual children. They have really helped with the difficult transition for a parent, of having their first child start at a "strange place".
Both my two children joined Charters at around 10 months old and left when going into Reception and both had the most wonderful time there. The staff and facilities are amazing, and they make the most of being in the middle of a country park - going for regular walks/playtime outside.
Each stage has it's own room, staff and outside space and the children are supported to develop against the EYFS framework, but never to the detriment of fun. The fact they both regularly came home filthy is testament to this!
With my youngest now moving on to school, I am sad to say goodbye to the wonderful staff there!
Fabulous outside space, plenty of walks, active play and fresh air.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.
After interviewing several childminders we decided that the nursery environment would be better for our daughter, it was the best decision we have made.
She started going at 10 months, 4 days a week and she absolutely loves it. She adores the girls, as do we. The rooms are big and spacious and the patio leads right out into a newly refurbished garden where the children spend the majority of their time playing. On the sunny mornings, they sit on the patio and have breakfast alfresco. We feel like she is learning so much and is excelling in all aspects of her early years development.
I would recommend the nursery to everyone and anyone.
A wonderful nursery. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The setting is spacious and has lots of different rooms depending on age.
I have noticed a great improvement in my daughter's speech since starting and they work with her speech therapist which is a great help.
My daughter has become more confident and is learning a lot more since she started here. I would truly recommend to everyone.
It is situated in the country park so they get out a lot. They have helped my son learn all sorts of things including socialising skills and educational things too. They help him to recognise his emotions and how he is feeling which is important for boys especially. I always get a breakdown of his day when I pick him up, without them having to look it up which tells me they know them very well. You can see they care for them. I highly recommend this nursery.
Such a warm and friendly environment with kind, caring, happy staff who I trust 100% with my son in his everyday care, learning and development.
The outdoor play areas are great and I like that the children still get the fresh air they need in all seasons.
Potty trained within a week at 2 years of age, I can't take the praise but the nursery can!
Highly recommend to other parents in the area.
She has always enjoyed coming: once settled in and would wave me off in each room she has been in. The staff are caring and interested in what she has been up to each weekend and always take the time to talk to you in the mornings. Individual feedback is given in the evenings which is lovely to hear.
Good activities are planned for the children and toys of interest provided, although there doesn't seem to be a very wide range of toys.
I would highly recommend this nursery and I know my daughter will miss coming here now she's gone to school.
Very happy and approachable staff members.
Flexible and always happy to help.
Love the amount of equipment they have for the children to explore and play with.
Both of our children had a seamless transition when they started their journey at Charters Nursery and continued to develop well as they progressed through the various rooms. The staff are genuinely committed to the care and supporting the development of the children and the efficacy of their hard work and dedication is paramount to the confident, happy and content children that look forward to each day at Charters. We cannot thank Charters enough for everything they do for our children and the non-judgemental support and advice they have often provided to us when we encountered challenging times.
My daughter has been with Charters Nursery for 6 months. It is such a huge decision for any parent to put their child into the care of other people. The care given to my daughter on a daily basis is amazing. The staff are lovely and take a genuine interest in your child. It was very difficult in the beginning dropping her off at nursery every day but now she looks forward to going. I believe she is well cared for everyday and would recommend this nursery to anyone that is thinking of putting their child into nursery.
I'm going to miss these lovely girls.
Beautiful, clean and friendly place. Thank you so much for everything.
