Woodlands Early Learning

My daughter started nursery in October, first time doing all of this and I had a pretty awful experience before. Once I found Woodlands I felt so more at ease. I hadn't left my daughter before this and she was 9 months. Once she started honestly I couldn't believe how well she settled so quickly gained so much confidence. The staff at baby bees have been amazing so warm so welcoming and also helping with advice. Also the admin team helping me work out all the bits I needed to do. Maya loves it, she has flourished there and love how much she gets up to. Would definitely recommend

We couldn't be happier with Woodlands for our little boy. He loves every day at nursery and the love, care, creativity and energy of the staff is always reassuring to us as parents. We're so pleased we chose Woodlands.

Both of my children have been attending Woodlands and loved their time there. From the baby unit - with their own safe outside space - up to Rising Fours, which prepares them so nicely for the next step of their learning journey. I can't praise the team enough and we are very lucky to have them looking after our girls.

This nursery is absolutely lovely. The staff are helpful friendly kind and experienced. I had a detailed tour and then the staff were frequently in contact with me to arrange the tester session helping me organise uniform and fees and Ts and Cs. The tester session was detailed and my daughters keywork got time to get to know her and wrote down her likes, dislikes etc. So she got to know her and make a good connection. The staff new about the problems I had with her pervious nursery. And really worked to make my daughter feel safe. They had wonderful variety of meals that are freshly cooked everyday. An amazing nursery that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Both our children at Woodlands have had a wonderful experience and settled into all rooms so well, which is a testament to the care the lovely ladies provide. The big garden is fantastic and gives the kids a great space to run around. I would highly recommend Woodlands Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing, professional and supportive childcare setting.

We have been so impressed by Woodlands and the care they have taken with our child. Communication has always been excellent even before starting when we had questions the admin team got back to us so quickly and the staff are all so friendly and caring. They always have different daily activities that they do and our daughter is going to flourish there

As soon as my husband and I viewed Woodlands Barnes Lane we knew this was the nursery for us. Our little girl has been at woodlands 3 years now and she has grown and been nurtured by each member of staff she has come into contact with. Her Key Workers in each section have been outstanding and always knowledgeable at handover about her day. We were impressed with the facilities straight away from cooking on site, soft play, big garden space and general play and equipment inside and out. Our child has been in rising 4s for 6+ months now and its her favourite day of the week, its another great added bonus to the nursery as it really sets the children up for school. We have always loved the two family days that woodlands organise at each setting as this allows interaction with staff and other children and is always really! Our favourite one was the beach party when Derek built a splash pool in the garden. Our little girl also sang carols at the care home across the road. 5* nursery!

Woodlands is an excellent nursery. They take such care looking after the children, support their development and always have a variety of activities for the children to take part in, including spending lots of time in their large garden.

A wonderful nursery with caring and supportive staff. Both of my children have attended Woodlands at Barnes Lane from babies through to school and they have both been provided with excellent care. The nursery are fantastic at providing the children with opportunities to go on trips out, learn about various topics and have lots of fun! The Preschool and Rising Fours are brilliant at preparing the children with the skills and emotional support needed for when they start school. This includes mini PE lessons, early phonics, fine motor skills and general emotional skills that help children with the transition to school. Thank you for all your support, I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We have been really pleased with Woodlands Nursery. The staff have been fantastic with our little girl who was nervous about being away from us but now loves it there. Everyone is so friendly and kind, and communication about what the children have been up to, as well as general admin things has been really great. We have been impressed with the food choices as well, especially that there are healthy pudding options.

Lovely nursery with dedicated rooms for different age groups. Lots of outdoor space for children to enjoy and they often take them on trips within the local community. My son often enjoys the soft play playzone too. Staff are friendly and approachable and all of them know the children well even if they aren't their keyworker. Lota of activities put on for children with no technology in sight which I think is great for allowing children to work on their social skills. Both my children have attended here.

The nursery has been supportive and accommodating to our changing needs and requirements. The staff are professional, friendly and kind, building strong relationships with both of our children which has really helped with morning drop off. We enjoy receiving updates and the thorough end of day handovers. Knowing what the children have been doing gives us as a family a starting point for conversation and connection.

We moved our baby to this nursery at the start of the year after she didn't settle well at another local nursery, and the difference has been incredible. From day one she absolutely loved it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. She especially loves spending lots of time outside, which is her favourite. We've really appreciated how warm and inclusive everyone has been, and we love receiving the regular photo updates. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery. It’s big with dedicated rooms and gardens for each age group and had the loveliest staff working there. They put lots of effort into spending time with nature and often visit the care home opposite to plant flowers and veg.
