Play Away Day Nursery - Southampton City

The staff at Play Away Day Nursery are truly exceptional, highly qualified and truly caring and passionate about what they do. Every day my son comes home with a big smile and lots of stories about his day. It's a testimony to the wonderful care he gets, especially from two members of staff in particular who are truly amazing with our son. Additionally, facilities are safe, clean and filled with equipment and educational toys for kids to be engaged. Management is also exceptional, especially supporting parents. Overall, it has been a wonderful choice for us. Thank you Play Away Nursery.

My son has been at this nursery since April 2023, it is a brilliant establishment. Friendly staff and a safe place for the children. I am fully satisfied by the services provided.

Exceptional childcare. My son looks forward to going into nursery each morning, knowing that he will have fun and see all of his friends. Teachers are always kind and caring. Since starting nursery at 9 months old, my son has learned so much and has developed many skills. His speech and sharing skills are a credit to all the staff.

I'm so grateful for the wonderful start they've given my baby, and I feel confident knowing he's in such safe and loving hands. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing environment that truly supports their child's development.

The staff are always considerate towards us and our daughter. She eats better than we do! The food provided is great. Always lots of activities to do for the children. The staff are always mindful of our child's specific needs when presented.

The staff have all been amazing and supporting of my son during his first 6 months at nursery. He always enjoys spending time here and I feel relieved and comfortable dropping him off.

My daughter is 3.5 years old. She has been to Play Away Day Nursery for the last 2 years. She has learnt good things. Staff are caring, supportive and vibrant. We got help with potty training as well. The staff are quite energetic and motivating, it increased my daughter's confidence.

The nursery is always clean and there are so many activities for the kids. Judging by how much my little one eats, the food is great too.

We attended the Carnival of Colours day (15th June) and a great time was had by all, especially Grandad, who won prizes and was shown how to like a social media link!

I'm very satisfied with the nursery. They have provided an excellent learning environment for my daughter. Her emotional and cognitive development is brilliant. She really loves coming to the nursery and after the nursery, she always wants to play nursery roles with me, presenting her daily activities to me. She really respected her nursery teachers.

My son has been with Play Away from 8 months - 4 years old. Not only did every teacher welcome him and make him feel comfortable, but also me too. His learning and social skills have come such a long way. We have loved every minute of the nursery experience. It has prepared him so well for school.

My child started at Play Away in September 2023 and is now leaving for school. I can't express how grateful I am to the manager and all staff who have supported his development and kept him so comfortable and happy. My child has ASD so he hasn't always been straightforward but everyone at Play Away has taken initiative and worked with him. The support that I have had with his school EHCP and general school transition has been overwhelming and I really couldn't have done it without them. I'd recommend Play Away to everyone.

I consider their service child-centred, efficient, equitable and very effective. My sons have learnt a lot of new stuff and they love all their teachers, they always look forward to come to the nursery. It has been a pleasure and I will readily refer anyone in search of a nursery because the service is reliable.
