I have been at St Neot’s for 20 years. I am currently leading our Nursery, supported by a fabulous and dedicated team. I am now in my fourth year at St Neot’s and bring over 30 years of experience in the early years sector, as well as the experience of bringing up my three children, who are now in their twenties. I work with the youngest pupils, the Caterpillars, where each day is filled with smiles, giggles, problem-solving, lots of noise, and wonderfully messy play! It’s a privilege to be part of the Caterpillar team, helping to guide the children as they begin their St Neot’s journey. When I’m not at work, I’m often dreaming up my next travel adventure. I also enjoy long country walks, especially those that end with a cosy pub or a good coffee shop. Read less

I have worked in the Nursery for 19 years, spending most of that time in the Butterfly Room with our wonderful 3–4-year-olds. I love being part of such an amazing team, and creating a space where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn is something we all value deeply. I really enjoy sharing my experiences with the children and listening to the many entertaining stories they love to tell! It’s incredible to see how much little ones grow between the ages of 2 and 4, and I feel truly privileged to support and be part of their journey. Read less

I am delighted to be entering my 19th year in the Nursery department at St Neot’s. During my time here, I spent 8 years as Manager of the Caterpillar room before having my son 3 years ago. He is now a happy member of the Butterflies class, making my connection to the nursery even more special. It is a privilege to care for and nurture the children as they begin their journey at St Neot’s. Nursery life is full of fun, creativity and discovery. I love supporting children as they grow in confidence, make progress and reach important development milestones. Watching them learn and thrive is incredibly rewarding. And if you hear someone singing or laughing loudly in the Nursery, it’s probably me! Read less

I have worked at St Neot’s for the last six years. I have recently completed a PGCE at the University of Reading specialising in Early Years and enjoy sharing new and exciting ideas with the youngest members of the school. I have previously worked in other year groups across the school but love working in the Early Years Foundation Stage most of all! I look forward to continuing to be part of the learning journey for all our youngest minds. Read less

I am looking forward to my 15th year here at Caterpillars. Meeting new families is always exciting. Taking time to get to know your little ones is very special. The things they love & make them happy are especially important. We'll spend time learning all about the world around us each day. Take part in many activities that will challenge us, use every conversation to encourage, reassure and help us grow into confident, inquisitive, happy children, making many friends along the way!

In my spare time, I enjoy being creative, writing & reading. I love spending time with family in Devon, dear friends and my church family more locally. Read less

Hi, I'm Jess (M), and I'm part of the nursery team. I've been at St Neot’s for 3 years now and can tell you that St Neot's is so much fun! I have recently completed a PGCE at the University of Reading specialising in Early Years and teach dance at the Royal Ballet School whilst also running the Great British Tap Dance Team. I spend most of my time in the Butterflies room, but I enjoy teaching dance classes and helping out with our school musicals and productions. I can't wait to meet all the new starters in the lower end of the school and see how much our current students have grown! Read less

Hi, I'm Rosie Meekings. I'm a part-time nursery teacher in Butterflies and have been at St Neot's for nearly two years. I am Montessori-trained and love working with 3- and 4-year-olds! I have worked in nursery schools in London before having my own three boys, and it is such a rewarding job to do. I love tennis, skiing, cycling and walking my dog, whatever the weather, and music is a huge passion of mine too. Read less

It is a real privilege to work with our littlest learners and enjoy smiles, laughter and hard work with each child. I am excited to continue creating new performance opportunities, instrument trial events and musical experiences for the students to get involved in.
