Glenhurst Nursery & Pre-School

Both our children have been to Glenhurst Nursery; our daughter is still attending. All the staff are lovely and very caring; they always welcome you with a smile. The management team is great and very supportive. Our daughter is always happy to go to nursery and is proud to share with us the songs and activities that she learns there. She always has a smile when we mention the names of her carers and peers, which is a great sign!

We have full trust in the team at Glenhurst. Their communication is fantastic and they have the best interests of every child under their care at heart.

My daughter's been coming to Glenhurst nursery&pre school for 2 years now and absolutely loves it she's always happy on pick up with lots to say about her day and has great relationships with the staff. Her favourite is the outdoor area and the activities:)

All the staff are amazing, both my children have wonderful smiles on their faces when I collect them. The staff also support and understand our needs on a few situations where things needed to be adjusted. I couldn't be happier to have my kids attend.

Having sent our daughter and sons to the nursery we have had a good relationship with Glenhurst, the staff are always reliable and really accommodating. They work really hard to make sure the children's needs are met and are really approachable if we have any questions

All in all, a super nursery with excellent staff.

Our daughter has been going to Glenhurst since Sept 2024, and her experience with the team here has been wonderful. It took her a little while to settle as we had moved house around the time she started, so she was very unsettled. But they spent a lot of time settling and reassuring her and she has flourished over the last year and a half and grown in confidence. Attending nursery been great for her socialising and communication skills and were very happy with our choice of nursery.

We originally enrolled our son elsewhere but soon saw it wasn't right for him & were lucky to get a place at Glenhurst. Have no doubt about it Glenhurst is 5 star & we highly recommend - great people, great leadership & great setup.

We couldn't be happier with Glenhurst. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, caring, and attentive. It's clear that they genuinely love what they do, and that really shows in the way they look after the children.

My daughter has grown so much in confidence since starting here, and she always comes home happy, chatting about her day and the fun activities she's taken part in. My son has recently joined and Glenhurst are being very supportive of him and any extra needs that he may possibly need to help him

Communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel informed and reassured that my children are in safe hands.

Very happy with everyone at Glenhurst, both of my children have been and continue to be extremely well looked after. They have both developed very well, and had so much care and attention, which I can't thank Glenhurst enough for. My son tried 2 nurseries before Glenhurst, and this was definitely the best fit for both him and me (mum). Recently my daughter has been toilet trained, Glenhurst have helped her massively, and she's had little to no accidents whilst at nursery which is amazing. Thank you all so much, it's such a nice feeling knowing that they're in great care.

We have always been very happy with Glenhurst. My little boy started there when he was very young and has always enjoyed it.

From photos and updates, I can see the range of activities that the staff put on for the children. His counting and speech have both come on brilliantly since he started at Glenhurst.

The only negatives I can think of are that his daily updates sometimes lack certain things (e.g nap or evening meal) which can leave us wondering if he missed these altogether or if they just weren't put on the app. And although the staff are all lovely, there has been a high turnover since my son started and I worry slightly about staff leaving with whom he had a strong bond.

I would recommend this nursery to anyone and we will miss all staff when he starts school in September.

I couldn't fault this nursery, they go above and beyond for the children, they answer any questions you have. Both of my children have been to this nursery and both have enjoyed every minute of going. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and you're always aware of anything going on in the school or injuries. You're never left out of the loop. And food choices are amazing, there's always a variety each day. Honestly the best nursery for my children, ill be sad when they leave.

We are looking forward to sending our 2nd child to Glenhurst soon.

I can't recommend the nursery and its staff enough at Glenhurst. Our son Theo attended when he was 3 and always came home with a smile on his face and covered in dirt, food or sprinkles from the fun filled day he had had either baking, crafts or playing in the garden. So when it came to our daughter Luna, who is 18 months old, there was no question as to which nursery she would attend. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, Sarah the manager is always present, available and attentive and both my husband and I have always been at ease with our children attending Glenhurst, with the knowledge that they are safe, being well looked after and I genuinely believe adored by the staff. They go above and beyond to provide the children with activities and visits from dentists to the fire service and I believe they create the perfect foundations for preschoolers before they start in the education system.

My girls are at school now, but they still remember Glenhurst from time to time and say how much they miss it. I'm so glad that we chose this place and would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to all parents.

My son joined Glenhurst whilst in the 2-3 age group until he went to school. Following a bad experience in a different setting, my son started Glenhurst somewhat apprehensive of adults outside of the family, but he quickly settled and I was able to see my bubbly loving boy come out of his shell again thanks to the staff at Glenhurst!

Glenhurst was a warm and nurturing environment for my son, who enabled him to utilise his strengths and try new things. Any concerns I raised were responded to promptly, and I felt very able to speak to the manager or room leads when I wanted to check things through. The nursery were also good at informing me of any accidents, or any concerns they had.

Glenhurst engaged my son in activities that supported his readiness for school, and they gave opportunities like caring for animals, accessing resources to take home and engage in things such as road safety and emergency services.

I've had a very positive experience with Glenhurst Nursery as a parent. The staff are kind, supportive, and genuinely caring, which gives me peace of mind. They create a safe environment where my children feel happy and settled. Communication is clear and consistent, which I really value, I've seen great progress in my children's confidence and development, and I truly appreciate the support the nursery provides for me and my children.
