Since moving our son to Ellingham, over the last 6 weeks, he has got his confidence back. He is enjoying playing with the other children in his room and is excited every day to go into his new nursery, often asking to go back when we get home! He has had huge success with his toilet training and is
back to being our happy little boy. we cannot thank the room leaders, staff and managers enough for all of the support whilst we dealt with the transition, we absolutely made the right choice and couldn't be happier! Our only regret is not registering at the setting sooner - Thank you all <3

Ellingham has been a fantastic start for my little girl. She is now in Toddlers where they are caring, fun and provide great opportunities for her to develop. She bounces in happy every day (3x/week) and is excited to see me and show me things she's done each evening when I pick her up.
When she started
in Babies, the experience was just brilliant too - so nurturing, kind and reassuring. What a great team.
I feel Ellingham has given her the very best start; they know her well, cater to her needs (and my requests) and feel like a real home from home.
Communication is good from both room level as well as management in the building. The overall company itself hasn't impressed me hugely but I trust the staff on the ground to care for my little one in the very best way.
I wouldn't consider sending my child anywhere else.

We can't thank Ellingham House DayNursery enough for the incredible care and support they gave our daughter during her time there. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inclusive, and it made such a difference to her development and confidence.
A special mention must go to
the nursery SENCO who has been absolutely amazing in ensuring our daughter's individual needs were fully supported. Her knowledge, dedication, and kindness shone through in everything she did.
We are also so grateful to our daughter's key worker, along with all the girls from the preschool room. They went above and beyond to build a fantastic relationship with her, making her feel comfortable, happy, and valued every single day. Their patience, encouragement, and care really helped her to thrive, and we have seen so much progress in her development thanks to their efforts. It's rare to find such genuine people that are willing to adapt their approach to help every child. Thank you Ellingham

The entire team at Ellingham House Day Nursery has consistently gone above and beyond to support both us, as parents, and our autistic daughter since her very first day. The level of care provided is exceptional, and the staff's dedication and commitment to creating engaging and educational activities

Both of my girls attend Ellingham nursery, one in the baby room and one in their older toddlers room. They absolutely love their time there. Most staff are so lovely, happy and smily and take the time to update me and tell me about what the children have been up to. I do get the impression that they
genuinely care which gives me peace of mind to leave them while I'm at work.
The setting is set in beautiful grounds and they do get the children outside whenever they can. They have two sheep and lots of outdoor play areas such as a tree house, vegetable patch, woodland area and construction area. I'm sure there are more but those are just a few my older daughter has mentioned.
A small negative:- the nursery is a little tired. They are taking continual steps to update/improve things though. It feels very home from home and caring though which personally is more important to me. I viewed a lot of nurseries in the local area and to me this one had the nicest 'feel' to it.

We love Ellingham's premises with lots of activities to do (weather dependent) and their staff. Our little one has enjoyed going to nursery since day 1 and always has a smiling face when she arrives. The staff are thorough in going through the child's day learning experience, food and well-being.

Ellingham House provides brilliant care for both of my boys. The girls are so lovely, kind, energetic, fun and engaging. They really care for my boys and are attentive to them as individuals with different needs. There is loads of garden space, and it's in a beautiful setting. We've been there for a

The Ellingham girls (team) are amazing. They always go the extra mile and have made it a wonderful experience for both our boys during their time at nursery. Hopefully, the company that has taken over Ellingham will reinstate some of the things that made Ellingham unique such as sick swap days and the

The most caring staff we have ever met. Ellingham House has been part of our lives for nearly 12 years. There's been a lot of changes in management over the last year but nothing has changed 'on the ground'. We hope the new owners will continue to invest in the building and grounds as the setting is
idyllic - as well as the whole set-up of the nursery. We love the wholesome food as the children grow.

The ladies at Ellingham House have been nothing but exceptional in the love, care, and attention they have given my son throughout his time at Ellingham. The nursery is home from home and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, robust, and family environment to help prepare our son for his educational

We had an amazing experience at Ellingham. The staff have been absolutely lovely and supportive towards my son, especially one member of staff in particular who went over and above to provide a nurturing learning environment for him and feeling inclusive by doing special activities. My daughter is now 3 and been attending Ellingham since she was 8 months. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are more expensive than most others in this area however that is for a reason. In my opinion, they are head and shoulders above the rest. They have a higher child-adult ratio and see
each child and parent as individuals. My son will be attending in a few months too.

Hi, I'm Emma. I've been working at Ellingham House for over a decade. I left college in 2012 after qualifying as a nursery nurse and began my career here. I have spent the majority of my time working with the under twos, which I am very passionate about. I love encouraging children's learning and development from a young age through a variety of different play experiences, helping them explore and learn about the environment around them.

After working here for around five years, I completed my Foundation Degree in Early Years. Completing my degree gave me a much deeper understanding of how children play, learn and develop, allowing me to share this knowledge with the team. Together, we have the best opportunities to support and nurture the children around us, providing them with a fantastic start to their early years.
