Ellingham House Day Nursery

Since moving our son to Ellingham, over the last 6 weeks, he has got his confidence back. He is enjoying playing with the other children in his room and is excited every day to go into his new nursery, often asking to go back when we get home! He has had huge success with his toilet training and is back to being our happy little boy. we cannot thank the room leaders, staff and managers enough for all of the support whilst we dealt with the transition, we absolutely made the right choice and couldn't be happier! Our only regret is not registering at the setting sooner - Thank you all <3

I wouldn't consider sending my child anywhere else.

We are also so grateful to our daughter's key worker, along with all the girls from the preschool room. They went above and beyond to build a fantastic relationship with her, making her feel comfortable, happy, and valued every single day. Their patience, encouragement, and care really helped her to thrive, and we have seen so much progress in her development thanks to their efforts. It's rare to find such genuine people that are willing to adapt their approach to help every child. Thank you Ellingham

Fantastic nursery offering wonderful outdoor space. Daughter is very happy and thriving. Team are very knowledgeable and happy to help at any time. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. The level of care is exceptional and the children are all seen as individuals. Management very supportive with any queries and very approachable. Highly recommend.

We are so thankful for the exemplary care our child has had at Ellingham. It is a kind, nurturing, and fun environment where the children are truly encouraged and supported to thrive. The staff seem to genuinely care and get to know each child as an individual, tailoring things to their needs. The outdoor and indoor spaces are fabulous. We cannot recommend his nursery enough.

The entire team at Ellingham House Day Nursery has consistently gone above and beyond to support both us, as parents, and our autistic daughter since her very first day. The level of care provided is exceptional, and the staff's dedication and commitment to creating engaging and educational activities for the children is clear to see. Our daughter has a restricted diet, and the management has been incredibly supportive and accommodating every step of the way. To everyone at Ellingham, thank you for the amazing work you do - our little girl truly loves being there.

A small negative:- the nursery is a little tired. They are taking continual steps to update/improve things though. It feels very home from home and caring though which personally is more important to me. I viewed a lot of nurseries in the local area and to me this one had the nicest 'feel' to it.

We love Ellingham's premises with lots of activities to do (weather dependent) and their staff. Our little one has enjoyed going to nursery since day 1 and always has a smiling face when she arrives. The staff are thorough in going through the child's day learning experience, food and well-being.

Ellingham House provides brilliant care for both of my boys. The girls are so lovely, kind, energetic, fun and engaging. They really care for my boys and are attentive to them as individuals with different needs. There is loads of garden space, and it's in a beautiful setting. We've been there for a few years now, and I love it and wouldn't send them anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing! My daughter loves Ellingham and we are so thankful for how much they have done to help her grow into such a happy, confident little lady.

The most caring staff we have ever met. Ellingham House has been part of our lives for nearly 12 years. There's been a lot of changes in management over the last year but nothing has changed 'on the ground'. We hope the new owners will continue to invest in the building and grounds as the setting is idyllic - as well as the whole set-up of the nursery. We love the wholesome food as the children grow.

The ladies at Ellingham House have been nothing but exceptional in the love, care, and attention they have given my son throughout his time at Ellingham. The nursery is home from home and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, robust, and family environment to help prepare our son for his educational journey. We will be very sad to leave Ellingham, but know that our son is ready to embark on his next educational adventure thanks to all the time, energy, and love provided by the ladies. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience at Ellingham. The staff have been absolutely lovely and supportive towards my son, especially one member of staff in particular who went over and above to provide a nurturing learning environment for him and feeling inclusive by doing special activities. Thank you so much everyone and I hope you continue to provide this level of care in the future as well.

My daughter is now 3 and been attending Ellingham since she was 8 months. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are more expensive than most others in this area however that is for a reason. In my opinion, they are head and shoulders above the rest. They have a higher child-adult ratio and see each child and parent as individuals. My son will be attending in a few months too.
