Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to read your comments, particularly where they do not reflect the experience or procedures within our nursery. Since taking over the setting, we have worked hard to review and strengthen policies, procedures, safeguarding and children's development tracking, all of which did not exist before we took over.

We are sorry you feel your concerns were not dealt with thoroughly. We can confirm that attempts were made to contact you directly and offer opportunities to discuss and resolve your concerns with management, which were dismissed by you.

We would also like to clarify that children do not have access to screen time at the nursery. Our tablets are used solely for recording children's observations and communicating with parents and are blocked from access to programmes or other content.

As has been shared throughout this process these allegations were fully investigated in line with our safeguarding policy and best practice and found to be without substance. This included consultation with the LADO, whose instructions were followed throughout including the decision to allow the staff member to continue to care for children during the investigation. There was no police involvement in this alleged incident. We shared the allegation with the police at the parent's insistence, the police dismissed the matter immediately with no investigation. We of course respect all parent's right to refer to OFSTED if they are unhappy with our process, we have shared the full investigation and all pertaining information with OFSTED. Unfortunately we felt it necessary to terminate the children's contracts following parent's abusive and intimidating behaviour towards members of the team which was extremely distressing.
