Busy Bees Chafford Hundred

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. From day one, the staff have been kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my child's happiness and development.. Communication with parents is excellent-we're always kept up to date and feel completely reassured knowing our child is in such caring hands. Our child has grown so much in confidence since starting here. We're incredibly grateful to the whole team and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

My daughter really loves the nursery, she has come along amazingly since starting in September! All the staff there are helpful, happy and friendly. They helped me so much to help get my daughter into a better routine. I can not thank them enough!! I love how they keep the app up to date throughout the day so that i know how she is getting on and what she has eaten. The photos are the best!

I also suggested on rainy days using online PE videos, excellent way to keep kids moving.

Great engagement with children, loads of different activities especially prior to Christmas which keeps children entertained and happy, also wanting to go to nursery which is a bless for parents. Staff and management are very helpful and communication is really good specially when it comes to our children. Staff brings out best in our children and this is what we love about this nursery.

My daughter has only started this month, however we have been truly impressed by more or less everything Busy Bees has offered so far. The staff and management have been truly welcoming and we can see our daughter is enjoying herself and seems really comfortable with everyone in the nursery.

Amazing staff all my children have loved attending this nursery over the last 18 years. Staff are friendly and caring which puts me at ease. The menus are varied and my daughter loves them. The bond my child has with the staff in nursery room is lovely to see.

Can't recommend the nursery enough. My little boy attends and the staff always go above and beyond. He has learnt so much since starting in 2023, he has made so many friends and can't wait to tell me about his day when I collect him!

Great key person approach

I've marked a few as good instead of excellent for the following reasons; outdoor facilities, are ace compared to anything I've seen in the area and my daughter loves them but I would love it if there was actually some nature - trees, grass, mud, stones - real outdoors. Cleanliness, a couple of times the toddler loos/upstairs really smelled of pee - I completely understand why this might be but I do think as adults we don't like to do our business in dirty loos so why should our kids? Value for money, the day rate is expensive (in line with the rising cost of everything) but I was shocked to learn staff aren't entitled to sick pay so I am concerned that my money for services is not actually being spent on our kids and the superb staff delivering the care but business profit for top management?

The app is great to have as well so I can check to see what she has done and eaten.

Lovely staff make it easy to leave my son there every day. The app keeps us up to date with what is going on, and they are always happy to talk to us at the end of the day to tell us about any issues or achievements.

Nursery and the staff are lovely. Both my daughters enjoy going to nursery and have learnt and developed a lot whilst being there.

My child has settled into nursery very well and the staff are a big part of this. She has a very good bond with her key person and the other staff and this makes me feel so much better when I leave her. My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery and I can tell this through the photos the staff put on parent zone, having this app to see throughout the day is amazing as I know what to feed her when I get her home and what she has been up to. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

Would just like to start this review with a massive thank you to all the team at Busy Bees nursery. My son has recently finished his time at nursery and what an amazing time he has had. He went in as a shy one year old and left as a confident, out going and clever little boy. The staff are friendly, helpful and experienced with the children and have an amazing relationship with them. I’m so sad that my little boy has had his final days but thanks to Busy Bees he is ready for his next chapter.

I am very happy with the care Busy Bees at Chafford Hundred has provided for my son. The staff have been very good and caring and my sons enjoy the time spent at the nursery.

The food is of an extremely high standard and well balanced. It’s great that the nursery leave the menu for all to see and gives me great dinner ideas!

My little girl is very happy at Bees and looks forward to attending. Since she has started she has grown in confidence, developed language, matured socially and excellent physically. It is very reassuring to have her in their care throughout the week.
