St Margaret's Prep School & Nursery

All 3 of my children have attended the Nursery at St Mags and ALL of them are so happy at the school (they literally skip in, no lie). The Nursery is consistent with communication and the staff go above and beyond to ensure every child's individual needs are met. It certainly makes life easier knowing you are going to get wonderful smiley pictures of your 2 year old every day!

My little one has been attending for over a year and it is his favourite place to be. Communication has been excellent and his learning and knowledge has excelled. The teaching and office staff are very professional yet warm and friendly. Cannot comment on the food as my boy is a very reluctant eater but does tell us what he has been served or tried each day, which is more than he will try at home!

Our son absolutely loves going to nursery. He has dwarfism - so is very small for his age; we were a little worried about how he would cope, but he has thrived there.

The staff (he often talks fondly about ''Raby and 'Tiff-tiff') are so accommodating and patient with him. Adaptations have been made so he can play alongside his peers and they even got him a little trike so he could join in with the bigger kids on their balance bikes.

They really do go above and beyond!

My daughter started at St Margaret's this year and she has flourished. The onboarding period was amazing and we were heavily guided through this with plenty of opportunities to get familiar with the setting. Since starting, our daughter has had only positive interactions, now runs in smiling and I am reassured with all the nurturing activities she's gets up to throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend St Mags for any parent wanting to put their child into a setting that nurtures and prepares them whilst also feeling like an extension of family!

My son loves going to St Margaret's. He has been attending since Sept '25. Our daughter went to St Margaret's for 2 years and she loved it as well. Highly recommended. The nursery have gone the extra mile and made adjustments for our son so that he has easy access to facilities that all other children in the nursery have access to.

We are so thankful to have found St Margaret's and truly grateful for the time our family has spent there.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's development. From day one, we felt welcomed and reassured by their professionalism and kindness. The environment is clean, and thoughtfully set up with engaging activities that support learning through play. Communication with parents is excellent-we're always kept informed and feel involved in our child's progress. Most importantly, our child is happy, confident, and excited to go each day, which says everything. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and stimulating place.

The most amazing nursery and the most amazing staff. They know every child and always go the extra mile. We get pictures sent to us during the day and the communication home is wonderful. I couldn't be happier and my son absolutely loves it! I will be sending my daughter when she turns 2. I also love how varied the activities are. The staff are extremely imaginative with the tasks they give the children and this really keeps them engaged. My son's vocabulary has come on leaps and bounds since he started, as has his confidence and social skills. It truly is a wonderful place.

Our little one loves the nursery he is always excited to go in and I feel really happy leaving him there. All of the staff are lovely and being part of the big school means that when they start reception it's not a big deal at all (our oldest also went to the nursery)

I couldn't speak highly of the nursery and teachers enough, my daughter started in January and is loving her time at the nursery and is thriving. My daughter has learnt so much in such a small time, we're always kept up to date on her day at nursery which is lovely to see what she has done in her day. I'm so happy we went with St Margaret's.

It truly is the little things that gives St.Margarets it's magic. Our little one is very happy, so we are happy!!

St Margarets is more than just your typical childcare nursey. With a real emphasis on development and learning in a fun and caring environment it supersedes all expectations. My daughter absolutely loves every moment spent at St Margaret's and often asks at the weekends if she can go to "school" today! The facilities, teachers, staff, communication, level of education and opportunities for young minds is outstanding. As a parent you place your child, the most precious person in your world, in the hands of a nursery in hope that they are everything that they promise. St Margaret's exceed every promise made and I am so thankful for all that they do for my daughter. Their dedication and commitment truly deserves recognition for the outstanding work that they do.

It's a fantastic nursery, my daughter has progressed so well. She has learnt so much in a fun home from home environment. One of the staff is a brilliant teacher. The extra curricular activities Sport, French, and drama she has really enjoyed. I could not have hope for a better preparation for school, my daughter is very excited to start reception is September.

The staff always keep me updated and it's clear how much effort they put into creating a fun and nurturing space for the kids. I feel confident knowing my child is in such good hands. Highly recommend.

Wonderful nursery with a caring and supportive environment. The staff are brilliant and my son is very fond of them. He really enjoys his time here. He learns so much including languages and cooking, and I like that they get to integrate with the rest of the school.

St Margaret’s Nursery are nothing less than fantastic. The teachers and staff are so attentive, caring and compassionate. It really shines through when they are with the children. Our son loves going to nursery and has learnt so much since joining. We are so happy to have found St Margaret’s and can’t recommend them enough.

My youngest daughter started at St Margaret’s Nursery in October 2023. Since day one she settled in very nicely, the staff made her feel comfortable and safe. Every day she goes in she is always very eager to see her friends and teachers! At pickup, she loves telling me all about what she has been up to during her day. The nursery provides a variety of learning opportunities from PE, music, French and more, all of which are very enriching even at this early stage.

Our son joined St Margaret's when he was two years old and had such a fantastic time. He settled quickly, was provided with exceptional learning opportunities and built a close relationship with all the staff. The setting is excellent and the nursery children are made to feel at home and part of the wider school community. We could not ask for a better setting. Thank you!

From the moment I first got in contact, they have been fantastic. The environment and very friendly staff made my son (and myself) feel very comfortable right from the start. The resources and nursery layout make it easy for the children to explore, as well as the outside space.
