Pumpkins Day Nursery

She loves all the messy play and activities that she doesn’t usually do at home. Couldn’t ask for more!

with the children, helping them with arts and crafts and I love seeing what drawings etc my little boy comes home with.
I was extremely grateful to Pumpkins during the first lockdown in 2020 when they remained open for key workers. As I am a key worker, my little boy continued to go to nursery and they put extra measures in place to keep him safe.
I would definitely recommend Pumpkins to anyone who is considering putting their child in nursery, I cannot fault them.

very happy here. The staff are friendly, approachable and go the extra mile to help my children. I get regular updates via Tapestry letting me know what they have been doing which is amazing as some days I don't get much from the boys when they get home. Communication between parents and staff is great, sometimes it can be difficult to talk at drop off/pick up but they make time if you need to talk or they are always available via phone.

Security and safeguarding of the children is of a high standard. Fees are reasonable along with the flexibility of hours/days. I like this nursery so much that when I found out I was pregnant with my youngest I called straight away to put him on the waiting list.

with that. My son loves going to Pumpkins so much, in fact, he asks me if he’s going every morning and when it’s a day off he gets upset. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they're trustworthy, honest, kind, friendly and fun.

the pandemic as a keyworker child, the staff team remaining became family during this difficult period for all. The efforts they went to every week to cheer the keyworkers on was tremendous. They created a fun, engaging and safe place during an uncertain time when most nurseries closed their doors. My son flourished and his speech came along leaps and bounds. We are truly grateful for all their efforts and determination to stay open not to mention the water parties my son had!

We moved areas in September 2021 otherwise my son would still be attending there now. Thank you to all the staff, we highly recommend.
