Footprints Day Nursery

We are very happy with Footprints! The staff takes really good care of my daughter, they are always very gentle and friendly with the kids. My daughter loves all the activities and is happy every time she arrives at the nursery.

Would highly recommend Footprints! All three of our children have attended over the past 8 years. Wonderful, caring staff who genuinely take an interest in your children, great communication from management and very happy children!

I am very happy with this nursery. The staff is very nice, I always get updates on what is happening throughout the day and they are attentive to my child's needs. My child loves going there every time. Every time I go to pick up or drop off my child, he is smiling and happy. I highly recommend it!

Both of my children attended Footprints and we could not have been more happy with our choice, staff are absolutely brilliant and always go the extra mile. We had no complaints whatsoever and it is a truly fantastic nursery with great staff.

My children have been attending for 5 years (from 5 months and onto after school/holiday club). I can’t rate them highly enough. They treat children as individuals and understand what it takes for them to thrive. They go above an beyond to accommodate as needed. My kids love all the staff and look forward to attending every day.

I now have two children in Footprints, my son is in the pre-school room and has been with this nursery since September 2020 when they were in the depths of Covid. The staff are just the best and so supportive and they communicate efficiently with parents. If you have any worries then they will work with you. My daughter is not the youngest in the baby room at nine months and absolutely thrives and loves coming in to see everyone. I especially love the fact that they get the children outside as much as possible with the lovely garden they have. This has helped teach my son to get dressed independently. The times are great and we picked this nursery because it was close to us for work being in the centre of Chelmsford. I wish I could pick it up and take it nearer to where I live. In December 2022 they even had a little nativity for the pre-school room which all the staff had put so much effort into and being in the church meant that parents could attend to see the play. I can't recommend it enough!

Friendly and caring staff, lovely rooms for the children, nice outdoor area, good variety of food - really cannot fault them.

Wonderful staff, from the reception, manager and especially the staff who take care of and teach my daughter. I just have to thank all the support, love and dedication with our daughter, she has developed a lot.

If it were my choice I would not have changed and really miss the place. Would not hesitate to go back.

Our daughter has been going to Footprints for around 5 months and we are very happy with how she has settled in and the quality of care and support provided. We anticipated some difficult times when she first started but were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our daughter integrated, and I think this is mainly due to the excellent staff and general atmosphere that they create. We looked around several nurseries before choosing Footprints and we feel confident that we have made the correct decision. We feel they listen to any concerns we have and have been proactive in helping support our daughter’s development.

The staff at Footprints are all very friendly and professional and take a real interest in the children. Staff seem to know each child by name, regardless of which room the child is in. My daughter loves going to nursery and having the opportunity to take part in varied activities. At nursery, she is able and encouraged to express herself and learn new things. I would recommend Footprints Nursery to anyone having seen how happy my daughter is there. I drop her there, confident that she is in very safe and caring hands.

My son has attended this nursery for 2 years nearly and I could not praise the staff enough! Ever since starting he's come on so well and that's all down to Footprints! Brilliant friendly staff always giving 100% into the kids. Wide variety of menu even for the fussiest eaters! I loved the pre school nativity my son recently took part in, So well put together and the kids really enjoyed themselves. It puts me at such ease seeing how happy all the children are especially mine and how he looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends. I'm really going to be sad for him to leave for school in September. The Managers do a phenomenal job with this nursery and their staff. Don't ever change! Xx

A very nice nursery, a friendly and warm atmosphere, attentive and helping staff, wise management, reasonable pricing. My daughter loves this nursery, she is always upset when we have to go home - and it is the best proof :)

She's now a confident, sparky, caring, funny wee character who chats constantly. A lot of that is down to the input from the staff at Footprints so can't give it a better recommendation than that really!

Fantastic nursery! All the staff are friendly and helpful. Even if my son is upset to leave me he always comes out happy and tells me about his day. Footprints Day Nursery was my first choice due to the location and good reviews, I'm so glad they could offer my son the place on the days I requested - I didn't even look around any other nurserys after seeing how fantastic Footprints is.

My son started attending footprints in June 2013 an since then he has come on in leaps and bounds! The staff are great an I always feel at ease leaving my son in their care. I am gutted that he will be leaving this year to attend primary school but looking forward to my daughter coming here when she is 2!

My son is now at school but comes back to use the holiday provision on a regular basis. As a parent of a child who used to attend the nursery, it is fantastic that Footprints Day Nursery provides a holiday club as I do not have the stress of leaving him in unfamiliar surroundings with staff/children he doesn't know. He gets to meet up with old nursery friends and loves seeing his old nursery nurses' again. His day is full of fun and he would have loved to have been booked in for the whole week and is already asking when he can go back. The staff work very hard on a theme for each holiday to make it different every time a child visits. The activities are varied and trips out are also organised. It is very good value for money. My daughter attends this Nursery and I've felt so at ease leaving her in their care, her development has progressed so much since going and she has such a lovely relationship with the staff! They are easy to talk to, very welcoming and polite.

After looking around a few nurseries in the surrounding area, this is the one I chose. It has a lovely atmosphere and is very welcoming. My daughter started Footprints in September 2015 (just over 2 years old), with a couple of weeks of tears from my daughter and myself! I was reassured all the time and could contact the nursery at any time. She settled in very quickly and thoroughly enjoys herself. Her social skills, knowledge and confidence have expanded since attending nursery and I am very happy of her progress. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they all have a lovely bond with the children. I look forward to the next couple of years of my daughter being here.

My daughter has come along in such strengths being at nursery. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. I cannot fault anything with this nursery. There is always a staff member on hand to talk to you about any thing.
