Childsplay Day Nursery

Childsplay Day Nursery is outstanding! We looked at sooo many before deciding Childsplay is the one for us! Their resources are fantastic. The staff show such care towards our children and bring home the cutest artwork. We couldn't think of a better place for our children to be cared for!

Fantastic with making every child feel welcome and part of a group.

The nursery is constantly seeking input from parents in order to improve and they follow up on the reasonable requests. For example, the menu has moved towards much more fruit and veg based meals rather than meat based. A great nursery and great value for money.

Staff seem to genuinely care about my son and his wellbeing. They make time to talk with me and I am always well informed about his day. I have complete confidence in the nursery and my eleven-month-old son really enjoys his time there and has developed a bond with his keyworker who is wonderful. I couldn't ask for better and feel very happy with all aspects of my son's care ay Childsplay.

The whole faculty and the way they handle the children out there are doing a brilliant job. They take care of each and every mood of the child. They know how to handle the child especially when English is not their first language. And yes, the security system of the nursery is very appreciated.

Excellent experience, my child has learned a lot as we are not from England. She has learned to speak in English and understands others. Very happy with the way all nurses take care of my child.

They also cater for my son's allergies and I feel 100% confident he is in capable hands.

My daughter always comes home and doesn't stop chatting about her day. This is a massive reassurance for me that I have chosen a 5* nursery for my little girl.

Overall I cannot fault Childsplay, my son is very happy and is thriving.

My daughter attends the nursery 3 days a week, she is 2 years old and has attended Childsplay since she was 9 months old. As a family, we really can't fault the nursery. We have seen how well our daughter is developing and her personality shining, that we often think that this is mostly from the nursery. The staff are lovely and know her so well. We think the facilities they get are great and the weekly menu is perfect for our little one.

Excellent and extremely beautiful place for kids. Staff with excellent knowledge about the children’s learning experience! Very safe and friendly place!

She's becoming an amazing, caring little lady and it's with the help of this nursery. Always greeted with a smile and love to hear how she's been and what she's done.

My son attends this nursery and has done since the start of August 2018. He is my only child so I was very nervous and anxious about where to send him. But immediately Childsplay made me feel at ease. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, my son loves it and is learning new things daily. It’s clean, well organised and does a lot to support local groups too, such as the food bank. I go to work very confident that my son is in safe hands, happy and learning more every time. Including French.

My son has been coming to Childsplay since he was 9 months old. I honestly cannot fault the service that Childsplay provide. My son has come home with many arts and crafts he has made over the years. You can see his development folder anytime you like and it is full when you can take it home. He is now 3 and is always buzzing about how much fun he has and doesn’t want to come home! The home cooked meals are great value for money and there is the option to bring your own food. The manager sends regular updates about the nursery and the older children have even taken trips to places like the park or the library and partake in making things like pizza. Yes, they aren’t the cheapest nursery in Colchester, however, I didn't get the same homely feeling and the friendly attitude from the staff anywhere but Childsplay. I can’t recommend them enough.

Childsplay is an amazing nursery which my 3-year-old daughter has attended since she was 9 months old. The office staff are so helpful and informative and incredibly supportive and they're childcare professional are incredible. They are so warm and caring they always give great feedback and I feel 100% happy leaving my daughter in their care.

If it wasn't for the dedicated staff I couldn't work. This nursery may not be the newest in the area but the staff make it and that is what is most important.

Great nursery. I have two children that attend twice a week. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the children always have smiles on their faces. The nursery's facilities are good with lots of outdoor space, including a large woodlands area. The chef always cooks home cooked, healthy meals which my children love. I could not fault Childsplay Day Nursery and I would recommend this to anyone!
