Beeches Nursery

We have been so happy with our choice to send our daughter to Beeches Nursery over the last six months. The nursery is small enough that it feels all staff really know our daughter and she is so happy to go in each day. I appreciate the information provided on their app that gives a good amount of detail on things, like how much they ate, how long they napped etc. without being so much information that it takes away from their time caring for the children. Many of the staff have been there for years which shows, to me, that it is a positive place to be and feels good to know that my child won't need to get to know staff regularly. My daughter had an allergy when she started and they were extremely diligent and accommodating with her meals. They do activities that seem age-appropriate and fun. The management, as well, has been easy to communicate with and run the centre well. Overall, we have had a great experience and would highly recommend the nursery.

My daughter has attended Beeches Nursery for 6 months since she was 10 months old. She loves it and her key workers so much that she rarely looks back when we arrive each morning. The staff are very responsive to her needs, especially at the start when she had to adjust to napping in a new environment and without her mum. She eats every meal they give her, often going in for seconds, proving to me the calm environment they create for the little ones at mealtimes (and how good the chef is!). They update parents regularly on the app, both with daily activities and with important developmental milestones. My partner has a disability after having an accident shortly before our daughter's birth, and the staff have been amazing to be flexible when we have struggled to find help with pick-ups or drop-offs. They do a wide range of activities and my daughter is very happy!

My son has been attending Beeches Nursery for coming up for a year, having started when he was 11 months old. The provision of care is outstanding, and I feel completely assured that his every need is being met. There have been some managerial changes but they have been communicated and handled excellently, and it doesn’t appear to have affected the day-to-day running of the nursery. The activities that are run are fantastic, and the displays are constantly changing which shows a real level of dedication to creating a safe, loving and meaningful area for the children.

My son had to leave as we were relocating; he had been there since he was a baby. He loved it so much, he keeps asking to go back. Staff are friendly and helpful. Really pleased we chose Beeches.

I was feeling very apprehensive about leaving my child with someone other than myself but obviously needed to go back to work. The staff at Beeches, especially the baby room leader have been very supportive of not only my son's needs but mine too. The settling in process is wonderful as I felt there was enough time to get to know everyone before leaving my child officially. The feedback from the staff is consistently good, and I like that I can check for updates on their app.

Overall our experience has been good. The only thing I would expect is having regular meetings with parents to discuss childs development areas and areas of improvement. Ther should be an emphasis on educational aspects for pre-school kids.

Both my kids come to this nursery and I couldn't be more pleased. The way they care for the children is very satisfying. My kids are always excited to go and I feel extremely comfortable in letting them go here. Their learning has come on extremely well.

My daughter started in the baby room and is now in preschool. We have been very happy with the nursery. Staff are caring and helpful. It’s a happy environment that she looks forward to and we know she is in safe hands.

My child attends the baby room at Beeches. I'm delighted with how they've settled him, they display such warmth and care towards him. I'm kept up to date regularly with posts, pictures and messages through their app which relives a lot of the mum guilt.

After an awful experience with a childminder, I was anxious about leaving my daughter but have been extremely happy with the care she has received from her first days at Beeches. The staff are all caring and kind towards the children and get to know them very well. Her Key Worker has supported her throughout and it's lovely to see her happy and giving her cuddles.

They provide lots of opportunities for learning through play and I've noticed my daughter's confidence grow in a short time and it's been great for her socially, mixing with the other children.

Meals are healthy and they have helped her become more independent with her feeding herself confidently.

I'd definitely recommend, amazing nursery!

In short, Beeches Nursery is a wonderful operation and moving our son there from a different nursery was one of the best changes we could have made for our son. The whole staff is extremely friendly, approachable and appear to have great relationships with all of the children in their care. Our child, in particular, has strong connections with several of them. He always comes home happy, clean, well-fed and consistently making progress. As a child with an ASD diagnosis, the entire staff and specifically his primary carer have been very proactive in helping him in situ as well as pushing to get him an appropriate and effective educational plan. In short, I have nothing but praise for Beeches Nursery, the staff and the support they have provided our son.

My child absolutely loves going to nursery, he has come along leaps and bounds since joining. We could not ask for better carers and we definitely made the right decision sending him to Beeches.

My daughter has been attending part-time sessions in the baby room at Beeches Nursery for around six months now. She settled in very quickly and thoroughly enjoys her time there. I believe this is largely due to the caring and enthusiastic nature of her lovely key worker and the rest of the baby room staff. She cannot wait to go in when we arrive at the door and this means I feel totally comfortable leaving her! She loves the food and usually eats everything! Overall I would be very happy to recommend Beeches as a day nursery.

Setting up payment as well as our son's attendance days was made easy and we felt that those who we spoke to were always happy to help.

My child joined the nursery in October. I was really worried how they would settle in there but everything has been made so easy for us. All the fantastic and friendly staff made this difficult time so much easier. Now after a month, my child really enjoy their time at the nursery. Thank you very much.

We would highly recommend Beeches to any parent in the area and surrounding areas for their amazingly run nursery, lovely teachers and the fantastic range of toys, activities, outings and learning materials.

Both of our children have been very happy at Beeches nursery. When my daughter starts school in September it will be the end of a happy 8-year relationship with the nursery. The staff have been brilliant and our children both built good relationships with staff and other children at the nursery. The play and activities are really good - lots to do. I particularly like the outings to the local park or the library. There is lots of opportunity for outdoor play, and for the children to gain independence as they get older (dressing, getting their own water etc). The food was popular with both of mine too! Thank you to all the staff at Beeches.

My daughter has been at Beeches from age 1 and is currently in the pre-school room. The staff in every room listen to the children and parents then provide care and learning for that child's needs. The toys and learning aids in each room are for the specific age range to encourage and support their development. We have had a number of behavioural issues at home recently but after mentioning these to the pre-school staff they proactively worked with my daughter and us to manage and overcome them using their wealth of knowledge and experience. The pre-school projects they take part in e.g. planning, designing and holding a festival, planning, designing and going on safari, are amazing and very inspiring for the children. My daughter will be starting school in September and I just hope school can continue to inspire, challenge and develop her in the same way Beeches has. I can't thank the staff enough for the care and support they have given us over the last 4 years.

Overall the staff are fantastic, very creative with the children and have great enthusiasm. Only criticism would be the size of the nursery.
