The Old Station Nursery Taplow sits in a characterful, mock Tudor building, offering a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Every spacious room in the nursery has been carefully planned to promote and support development at every age and stage. Children also benefit from a wonderful outdoors space which encourages confident exploration.

Taplow is an organic-focused nursery, where children engage in growing, caring for, and harvesting produce, learning about plants, fruits, and cooking. The nursery offers cookery enhancement with safe, child-friendly tools to support culinary exploration.

The Old Station Nursery Taplow also offers an enhanced focus on the learning of languages via Baby Sing and Sign classes, Spanish language lessons and interactive multilingual books. This is embedded into an overall engaging curriculum instilling curiosity, creativity, and well-being.

When the time comes for children to progress on to ‘big school’, the nursery team are confident that the children will have the skills, aptitudes and attitudes required to thrive in their next stage of learning.

This nursery has recently changed ownership, and there are some improvements that could be made from what it used to be. There needs to be more feedback provided on how your child is developing, we used to have regular parent evenings and were provided with a progress review, but we get nothing now.
The one thing that needs addressing is the front door not being closed properly, which I feel is a safeguarding issue, which I have previously mentioned to the management but is still left open on a daily basis.

My son started in May 2022 at 12 months old and started in the Baby Room. The staff, especially his keyworker, have been fantastic. Communication has been great and I have felt comfortable leaving him there. The settling period is always challenging for both parents and the baby, but the staff were
amazing. My son is now 19 months and is happy going in and is developing very well. I had some concerns regarding how well he would sleep but they reassured me and were always happy to help and listen.
