Our kids have had allergies (one had a very restrictive diet with five different common ingredients). They were able to accommodate this without slip-ups (hard work even for us as parents!).
I shout from the rooftops how amazing this nursery is. The grounds they have, the incredible staff, the freshly cooked food and activities.
Both my children have and are very, very happy at Jubilee. They’ve created good connections with their peers. They enjoy spending time with the staff Jubilee have. Honestly, it’s amazing, and you won’t regret sending your child here.
Jubilee Day Nursery worked really hard to help our daughter settle into nursery. She had had difficulty with transitions and was transitioning to a new setting as a two-and-a-half-year-old very aware she was in an unfamiliar place, but they were happy to work closely with us to help her feel comfortable and secure. From the start, crying at the prospect, crying in the car and crying at handover, she now talks excitedly about Jubilee when she isn't there, chatting about all the children and practitioners by name, and is excited from the moment she wakes to when she walks through the door herself to join her friends. It is thanks to the practitioners, who are all so friendly and attentive to the children's needs. The sense is of a compassionate and well-designed, smooth running nursery setting, in beautiful grounds that give the kids a wide range of outdoor opportunities as well as indoor play. I'm so glad we found Jubilee for our child, and we are now placing her baby sister there too.
Nursery: The location, resources and spaciousness are massive strengths. I was so picky about the nursery I wanted for my firstborn child. I had a list of expectations, and Jubilee Day met them all! Nature, animals, freestyle thinking and nurturing the natural curiosity that a child is born with! The location, space and access to wildlife is so fantastic! Thank you.
Our son has just completed 3-years at Jubilee. The nursery is, without a doubt, the best start we could have hoped to have given him. Despite the size, we have received a personable service at every step and always felt comfortable leaving him with the different team members. The nursery goes the extra mile to introduce variety into every day and make the most of different occasions to let children learn. Our son recently started primary school and has gone straight into the top set for language skills, and we put this almost entirely down to the work that Jubilee did with him. They managed to find the right balance of encouraging his development without any pressure. Our second son started at the nursery earlier this year, and we have no doubt he will receive the best possible start.
To all of the team at Jubilee, from the first day we visited, then dropped off (tearfully!) until one graduated this summer, our two daughters both loved every minute of their time at Jubilee. We are so grateful for the love and care you showed the girls. You all helped instil the values we share like honesty and respectfulness along with enjoyment and appetite for learning that will stay with them forever. We feel very lucky to have been part of the Jubilee family for a few years and have seen the "Jubilee difference" on a number of occasions! We would thoroughly recommend Jubilee to anyone. Thank you so much.
An amazing nursery with a fantastic range of activities, resources and outdoor time. Unlike anywhere I've encountered before. My children absolutely love this place and it is a joy to drop them off knowing how much fun they have!
I never had any concerns dropping my daughter off and she loved it. We are still eating a number of the lunch recipes at home. Loads of space and outdoor activities, she often came home covered in mud which we thought was a good sign of a fun day.
My daughter went to Jubilee from nine months old. The staff in the baby room were so caring and ‘motherly’, they instantly put me at ease when leaving my baby for the first time in someone else’s care when I returned to work from maternity leave. My daughter thrived in every new room she went into until she left to go to school at 4. I was particularly impressed with Treetops who were patient and understanding with her toilet issues. I thought we’d never get there, but with the help of the team, she got there in the end and grew from a shy little girl to a confident big girl, ready for school! My other daughter is still there now and loves it too. I couldn’t recommend Jubilee enough. Thanks to all the team!
The leadership is strong and this filters down a supportive and caring culture among staff. I am always amazed at how all members of management know each and every child by name.
One of my children currently has additional needs which are being not only met exceeded by their SEN team and lead, I couldn’t wish for any more.
The meals served by the team are brilliant and at no stage were allergies an issue, everything managed fully.
Another strong point is their communication system between nursery and home, it’s great to get updates and be able to track progress against milestones.
A supportive and encouraging environment which allows children to thrive in their own way. My eldest son has started school and the start that his education had from attending Jubilee was first class. I will be very sad when we leave.
I couldn’t recommend Jubilee enough to anyone. Both my children go there and I know they are safe and well looked after and my children absolutely love going there. I love how big the outdoor space is and so much room for the children to play and explore in. I also love the events Jubilee hold for parents and family to come and enjoy which have definitely had so much preparation and effort put into. They're always doing various activities and topics which I love to see, and all the staff are so lovely.
We are so happy that our son has attended Jubilee since 9 months old, full time, and he’s now just turned 4. He really loves his nursery experience and is bursting to tell us about his day when we pick him up!
He absolutely adores learning in “the hub” and the work that the wonderful staff do with him has helped to make him very inquisitive and keen to explore.
I was initially concerned that illnesses and allergies would be a struggle for any nursery but Jubilee have been beyond amazing and deal with each little hiccup which comes along, including food allergies.
We couldn’t wish for a better place and will be very sad when September comes along and we have to say farewell to this lovely nursery.
I really can’t fault the nursery, it’s quite expensive, but you can see why - they do so much for the children. It’ll be a fantastic start for my kids before starting school.
Jubilee is the most fantastic nursery, such a special place that has given my children amazing experiences and undoubtedly helped grow their knowledge and confidence. The staff continually go over and above and build brilliant relationships with all of the children. There really is no comparison to Jubilee. Sending our children to this nursery really is one of the best decisions we have made.
I have two children at Jubilee Day Nursery and can’t recommend it highly enough. Both children love it there and it’s sometimes an effort to drag them away. The range of activities and experiences available to them is huge and the staff are all, without exception, kind and competent professionals. It always amazes me that the nursery manager, who must have a couple of hundred children under her care in any given week, always knows what my children have been getting up to, what they are good at and how they are developing. They are flexible, accommodating additional days when asked, or, in our case, even a second child with zero notice when our other childcare arrangements fell through with no warning. I thoroughly recommend it!
Jubilee nursery is absolutely brilliant. It is so important, especially when leaving a young child at a nursery, that you can feel confident that they are being looked after well and more importantly having a brilliant time. Jubilee does this, and my son is so very happy at Jubilee. The nursery has given me the confidence to go back to work knowing that my son is being looked after and that he is benefiting from being in a nursery environment.
I love that their days are centred around outside learning as much as possible and that my son always is happy to be dropped off with a smile on his face. My son has allergies that the nursery caters for, and I am confident that they are keeping him safe.
I hope everything continues as well as it is now and have nothing but praise for the management and staff.
As some have mentioned, it is more expensive than others in the area, but it absolutely appropriate given the care provided.
My daughter has just finished her last day at Jubilee before she starts school.
She has loved every minute of it and the staff have been fantastic. The large open space was the main plus for us and even the babies get out into the garden and woods to get messy. There has always been a wide selection of activities and for the older children trips out in the minibus. The preschool room is excellent with a dedicated cabin in the grounds for phonics and numeracy learning.
All staff have been lovely, caring and professional. They are easy to talk to and understanding of any concerns and regular parents evenings and daily sheets keep the parents informed. Parents can join in activities including Sports Day and the Winter Wonderland walk. The food is freshly prepared and cooked on site and nicely varied.
This is probably one of the more expensive nurseries in the area but it is very much worth it. Thank you Jubilee we shall miss you very much.
The level of enthusiasm from the staff is unparalleled and the evidence of outstanding care and a happy environment is plain to see in the fact the children race in the mornings, and refuse to leave at collection time.
Our son adored his time at Jubilee and we will be forever searching for nurseries and schools that can live up to this one.
Facilities at the nursery are excellent - loads of indoor space (lack of which I was shocked about when visiting the town nurseries) and best of all - vast outside space and possibilities for exploring and playing in nature. They have their own little forest for walks, farm to visit with animals children can feed/cuddle.
I would absolutely recommend the nursery!
My son starting attending Jubilee aged 9 months. He has always been very happy and settled here, therefore it has made my transition back to work (part-time) easier for me. He has always wanted to go and from a young age was leaping into their arms without a second thought. I have no doubt that his days are filled with constant play and learning.
Jubilee has masses of outdoor space incl. animals which really appealed to me. I love the space within the rooms and the layout of the different play and interaction areas.
Initially, you could be put off by Jubilee being a big nursery but the space is adapted for see per my comment above, the staff are well trained and equipped to do a great job. Quality is not compromised and if anything, I feel it offers the children more variety, more rooms to move around it and explore and let's not forget the incredible amount of toys offer!!

Meet the Team (7)
Having only ever worked within the Early Years Sector, I have many years of experience working with children and see my vocation as a real privilege. My 20-year career at Jubilee has seen me progress from a nursery nurse to the position I am proud to hold today.
I am proud to lead a highly skilled and enthusiastic team of early-year practitioners who provide high-quality teaching and deliver a vast range of learning experiences. I have a passion for guiding and training the team to achieve great things for all the children in our care.
Over the years, I have had inspiration from many different learning approaches, which have been embedded into our Early Years Curriculum, recently achieving an ‘Outstanding’ result from our latest Ofsted inspection at one of our Jubilee sites!
I feel honoured that parents give Jubilee Daycare the opportunity to care for their children, and as a team, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional learning opportunities and unique Early Years experiences.

Tilly is a valued member of our preschool room, where she works as the Early Years Teacher.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been caring for children; there was no other vocation for me. My 40-year career has spanned experience as a private nanny, and nursery nurse and spending the last 22 years as Jubilee Day Nursery’s Manager.
I am now using my years of knowledge and experience to focus on our children’s and staff’s well-being within our setting.
Overall well-being is essential to a child’s development;
- I have always believed that the outdoors is the best environment for children to play and learn. I passionately foster Jubilee’s great love of the outdoors, using our amazing rural setting to help me deliver overall well-being experiences for all the children in our care.
- Delivering yoga, meditation and mindfulness sessions, promoting healthy, confident minds introducing our pre-schoolers to team and structured sports, and promoting physical activity and teamwork.
The children are at the centre of all that we do and we strive to make these precious years a truly wonderful experience.
