The Wendy House Day Nursery

We've had a wonderful experience with The Wendy House Day Nursery. Our eldest son loved his time there, and we still have our two younger children attending.

The staff are caring and attentive, the facilities and outside space are really good, and there's a great range of activities to support learning and development. The nursery is always clean, well organised, and communication from management has been excellent throughout.

Our children have been able to thrive there and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Wendy House to other parents.

Our baby girl started going to the Wendy House at 8 months. She was a little shy at first but has settled in brilliantly! The staff has been lovely and my daughter is enjoying her time at the nursery and the activities she does. We was a little nervous send her to any daycare but The Wendy House taken great care of her! Thank you!

All staff are friendly, helpful and engage with the children. My grandson seems very settled there.

I cannot speak highly enough about the Wendy house. The staff are clearly passionate about their job and take genuine interest in all the kids. My son has formed great relationships with them and loves going there. Their communication is excellent whilst ensuring the majority of their time is spent interacting with the kids. Our son has allergies and they manage it well.

The staff are always so warm, welcoming & friendly and always so supportive of any requests/needs for our son. They go above and beyond to support us as parents and our little boy. Since starting we have noticed how much he has progressed in areas where he was struggling and the staff and management are just amazing. We feel confident and comforted knowing he is so well looked after and enjoys himself when he is there. Huge thanks to all the team for all their hard work and dedication to each and every child/family. You are all superhero's!!

We love the Nursery. They take good care of my son. They do lot of activities. Garden play. My son loves to go to Wendy's. All the teachers are very helpful. They post all the activities photos in the app for us to see.keep doing the good work.

Our little boy has been at The Wendy House for 18 months and we could not be happier with the care that he receives. He has come on leaps and bounds and is always happy and excited to go into nursery each day. We receive lovely updates on his progress and all staff are friendly and approachable. We always remark that we feel as if we're dropping him off to family.

We would love it if we received more updates during the day on the app.

Outstanding nursery with such lovely caring people. My second daughter has now been within the setting for over 1 year, following on from my first daughter who was here from 1 years old until she went to school. I had no doubt putting my daughter into the setting at 4 months old given how kind and caring everyone at the Wendy House is. They are passionate, professional people and the children love going to nursery, you can see that every single day! There needs to be more like the Wendy House.

My daughter has attended the Wendy House since September 2022. This was a very hard decision to make, but the staff at the Wendy house soon made me see what a brilliant decision this has been. My daughter has thrived going there three times a week and they have aided all aspects of her development. If I ever have any worries or enquiries they always listen and dedicate time for a response, additionally they always put my mind at ease.

I will always be incredibly grateful to every member of staff at The Wendy House, because if you have to put your child into childcare, you want them to be loved and looked after properly and that's exactly what the staff do for the children there. My daughter will be starting school in September and I'll be incredibly sad to say goodbye to the Wendy house as I know they are so dedicated to each child there and they feel like they are an extended part of my daughters family. My final point is, she looks forward to going there, and that's so important!

Our second child has just started with the Wendy House and is loving his time there. As with our first, (so far!) we've never had any tears at drop off and we love how kind and attentive the staff are.

Our son has been going to The Wendy House 3 days a week since he was 9 months old, he is now 2 years old. The staff are all so helpful, supportive and approachable. I really enjoy being invited to the nursery to the different events taking part throughout the year. The app is great, I love receiving updates on what he has been doing. Our son always has a big smile on his face when I collect him, this shows he's had lots of fun! We would highly recommend The Wendy House!

My daughter has been with the nursery for 3 happy years. Really happy with every key worker she has had. Staff care and change things up to keep it interesting. They involve parents, and when I have been worried about my daughter, they are quick on hand to discuss. I'd recommend it. It has a real family feel.

My daughter is currently at The Wendy House and has been for 2.5 years. We have watched her flourish there. We all love it. The staff are amazing and genuinely love each and every child. The facilities, learning and care they offer are outstanding. We feel involved in every step of her journey there.

She enjoys her three days and always goes in happy.

Always kept up to date and the nursery itself always offers little extras i.e. being able to come in for parents' evening, Easter and other special occasions. Never had this at my eldest nursery so really comforting.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends - and I have! Several of my friends have joined as well, and they share the same positive sentiments.

My daughter of 10 months started in May this year for 2 days a week and all seems really good so far. I think she has settled really well which is obviously down to the staff making her feel safe and well cared for. She is happy to go in when I drop her off and is happy when I pick her up. I receive pictures of her during the day via the app which is so nice. I'm very happy with the nursery.
