Our son attended the Village Preschool for two years and we found it to be such a wonderful setting. Tucked away from main roads and with great open spaces, including a forest school. It's a perfect environment for children to thrive in. The staff are caring and really committed, which gives you a real sense of confidence, particularly when it is the first time your child goes into a preschool setting.

We had just moved to Highams Park and were struggling to find a new nursery place for our twin boys. Some friends recommended we should try The Village. We were worried about the change, but ever since the boys ran through the door on their first day, they have loved spending time at their new preschool. The key workers, and indeed, all the staff, are so caring and personable; it's really been a wonderful find. The 'forest school' area is such a great use of the space and gives the boys loads of outside space to explore! We receive great updates through the 'app', so feel connected to what the boys have been up to each day. We also recently took the boys to The Village's yearly fair for their birthday celebrations. The day was fully organised by the staff, and whether it was the bouncy castle, the fire engine visit or the ukulele band playing, there was not a frown in sight. The local neighboured families came out in force, and it was clear there was a lot of love for The Village Preschool!

Perfect nursery for my son. Extraordinarily spacious with different activities each day that my son loves. The teachers and staff are very welcoming, very friendly and nurturing. One of their activities is going to the school forest once a week and my son loves it.

My son has attended The Village Preschool for 18 months (since age 3) and loved it. He has progressed and learnt so much. It’s such a warm environment with hugs and quiet time if they need it, as well as energetic physical activities, learning and socialising. He was assigned a keyworker who was so supportive, and using the app kept me up to date with what he had been doing during the day as well as parent consults about his development. Their Forest school space is wonderful and the real diamond of the nursery so “Welly Wednesdays” was always my sons favourite day of the week. I recommend The Village Preschool highly and think the staff are outstanding.

This preschool is a real gem. Amazing bright and airy room, with a large outdoor playground, all refurbished this year. Has access to the large cricket ground and also does Forest School four sessions a week. The fantastic new Head has created a wonderful rich curriculum to engage the children. The staff are longstanding, very caring and engaged. Great pre-school and because it is a charity, prices are low for the borough.
