1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.
If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

I am the owner and the setting manager at Little Stars Pre-school working alongside Shalini Amlani. I overlook the overall running of the Pre-school and deployment of staff for children under our care and ensuring all policies and procedures are met in accordance with standards of EYFS. I have also worked with age groups ranging from birth to 8 years, and gained experience with children requiring special educational needs. I have developed my childcare experience over 11 years within the settings of Nurseries, Montessori and Childminding and have come to understand the expectations of children, parents and carers in delivering a service of high standards. In 2016 I completed my foundation degree to become qualified in level 5 as a Deputy Manager and In January 2017 I have taken the responsibility of Manager's role. As an owner and manager, I am passionate about the contribution I am making towards the healthy development of children to give them a strong start to their future. I am motivated in childcare by knowing that it is an environment that encourages the sharing of experiences, strong values, and partnering with parents to get children to use their imaginative minds, which speak to my strengths in creativity and interests in playing music, painting, computing, and other creative activities.
