Chestnut Nursery School @ Gascoigne

I cannot thank the nursery enough for all they do - this is every day for them but for me, it means everything.

They are super! My son, almost 3 years old, has learned to play with other kids and talking a lot in English (we are Italian) so I'm so satisfied!! Also they are kind and always available for help. I'm so grateful!

I have a wonderful experience with this nursery, my kid has learned a lot. The best thing is he's always happy to go to nursery and there has been lot of improvements in his speech and he has become more independent. Kudos to all the staffs and the manager is really supportive and incredible.

My first son has been going to Chestnut Nursery since April 2022 and my second one joined him in January 2024. Every single person working there is amazing, they are all so kind and attentive. They stimulate the kids with lots of different activities every day and they're very respectful of individuality. My kids love going to nursery!

I am very happy to see my son happy whenever he is going to school, even in his days off he wants to go to school. The best nursery. May God bless the teacher for my son and I, I really appreciate it. Thanks to you my son can use the toilet by himself. Thank you very much.

An amazing provision, with amazing staff! My daughter is always happy to go to nursery in the mornings, and I know she's in good hands. The manager is amazing, very helpful and very professional. Overall an outstanding nursery.

We are fortunate to be a short walk away from this amazing nursery. My child started here a few months ago when he turned 1, and he is thriving. The settling in process went smoothly and he quickly bonded with his caregivers. The staff and nursery manager are all lovely, helpful and approachable. They adore our son and I feel very comfortable dropping him off every day. He comes home happy and sometimes doesn't want to leave! My only complaint is the app only tells you about nappy changes, meals and naps. It would be good to get more regular information on what my child is up to. I did get a lot of information and pictures at six-week observation, and that was lovely.

I'm thrilled to share my positive experience with this nursery. The environment is incredibly positive and clean, creating a perfect space for children to thrive. The staff are all exceptionally friendly, making both parents and children feel welcome and cared for. I must give special praise to the manager, who truly stands out with their exceptional leadership and dedication. Brilliant staff. Really nice and helpful. Help with development of children. Activities are brilliant and engaging. The nursery is lovely, really nice spaces outside and inside. Really good resource. Provided halal food and promote multicultural background.

My son was enrolled here and he had an amazing development. Everything was great about the nursery from the teaching, the staff and the food. My daughter will start here soon, looking forward to see her develop with the care of this amazing nursery.

I have a special boy with a delay in speaking and I'm happy with his progress since he has been going to this nursery. I can see every day how happy he is to go and how he gets update when it is home time. He enjoys. I recommend this nursery to all, the children get help with everything and I appreciate the teachers' hard work.

Very friendly staff and excellent management team! My daughter attended another nursery in central London and I thought the team were really good. I was hesitant to take my little one to a nursery in Barking but after meeting the team and receiving speedy replies to emails and queries, I knew the nursery was on point and very professional. They continue to supersede our expectations and our little one has excelled in her learning. Keep up the great work!

Of course, at first, there have been settling issues but the nursery has been amazing with my child and I have seen my child grow amazingly with new skills. My child loves all the staff who are equally as caring back.

My friend has recommend me Chestnut Nursery School @ Gascoigne before we moved to London from abroad. We moved to London end of September 2023. My son could not understand or speak any English. He has been attending Gascoigne Chestnut Nursery full-time since we moved here. After five months my son can speak English very well. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment and I am very thankful to the manager and the whole team at Gascoigne Chestnut nursery.

I really appreciate this nursery, the staff is excellent, my son loves to go there. He is having a nice time every day, how do I know that? He refused to leave, he want to stay there all day... from the first day, he loves it. Thank you for all you are doing, you are really a great staff.
