Oasis Pre-School

My 3-year-old son currently attends Oasis and really loves it. He started when he turned two and has settled there really well and loves going there. Oasis is wonderful in terms of the smaller size it is compared with other nurseries, the experienced staff, many of whom have worked there for many years and the home from home atmosphere they offer. My son has loved his time there and is really sad not to be going there at the moment due to the Cover-19 outbreak. The staff take such good care of the children, make great use of the outdoor space they have and do a range of activities with them. I have noticed so many things that my son has learnt while there and he is always bringing home artwork etc.. that he has done and it is great how well the staff have all got to know him. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

All three of our children have attended Oasis for two academic years before they started school. We have been so impressed with the care, attention and support they have received. Staff turnover is extremely low and the team is highly experienced and communicate well with parents. Our children have greatly benefitted from the higher staff-child ratio at Oasis. Some parents choose to move their child for the preschool year (3-4 years) to the local state nursery, but I know our children have benefitted from having more interactions with adults (usually 1:3, rather than 1:13 at the state nursery) and it has meant they have been very well prepared for school. We can't thank Oasis enough for all they have done - a wonderful team and a wonderful pre-school.

Both my children have attended this preschool with my youngest just leaving. They have both loved attending and been very happy each day. The staff really bond with the children and always greet them with a smile. They have lots of different activities and will happily follow the children's interests. They have made many books with my daughter. I thoroughly recommend Oasis.

My son has attended Oasis Pre-school for the year before he starts school and has been very happy there.

The staff to child ratio is high and the staff are attentive, devoted and caring, genuinely fond of the children.

The children take part in a wide range of activities and the older children are regularly taken off in small groups to help prepare them for school.

The location of the pre-school is very convenient. Staff are available for feedback whenever asked and are very approachable.

One thing I have particularly appreciated is that at lunch club, they will heat up food I send in for my son, meaning he can have a hot lunch.

I cannot recommend Oasis highly enough. My daughter settled in very quickly (she has been there a year or so now) and loves going to playschool. All the staff are very caring and friendly.

Children are taken outside to the library/sing along activities or do activities like sit in a fire engine. They are also made aware of safety such as not to go off with a stranger etc.

I really love this nursery as it provides a very homely and caring environment. The staff have worked there for a long time and are very experienced and obviously enjoy what they do. The set up is also very flexible. I am really pleased with my choice of pre-school and would choose it again.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a few weeks now and is absolutely thriving - the fantastic night's sleep we get after one of her days pays testament! The environment itself is mentally stimulating - there are many different activities both staff-led and individual to keep her attention and build confidence. The staff are very professional, but also very friendly, approachable and build a strong bond with your child. The class sizes are small, which guarantees a good level of 1-1 attention. I have definitely noticed an improved difference in my daughters communication skills in the short time she has been attending. Overall, I couldn't recommend highly enough, and Ofsted should be ashamed of themselves for only rating as 'Good'!

I chose Oasis Pre-School for my son because of all the ones I visited they seemed to offer the most nurturing environment and thankfully my first instinct was right. This was his first time in formal childcare and they were incredibly supportive in settling him in. He thinks his key worker is wonderful but all the staff have been amazing. He now runs every morning and runs out excited to tell me all he's been doing. He especially loves the outside play area and sandpit. It's a great pre school and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
