Overall Experience
The nursery is housed in a purpose-built building which is light, airy, clean and well-maintained. Despite being located in a busy residential area, it has a real countryside feel, with plenty of trees and open space to the rear. This land belongs to the nursery, and the management have exciting ideas for development.
The nursery has a real focus on making life easier for busy, working parents; the opening hours are longer than those of many other nurseries, and there is a free 'breakfast on the go' service providing tea/coffee and toast for parents.
There is a good range of ride-on toys and play houses in the garden, and plenty of opportunities for water-play and messy play indoors. Every day there are different activities laid out on the tables, which are always thoughtful and imaginative.

The staff are well trained and have excellent relationships with the children. My son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery.

Overall Experience

My husband and I have found the nursery to be excellent. The staff are friendly, professional and it's clear that they take good care of the children. We have been particularly impressed by how well the nursery is organised and how every single member of staff knows all the children by name, regardless of whether they are directly caring for each child.

The activities that are carried out with the children are relevant and focused for their age range. The children seem to be encouraged to develop in key areas, for example to progress in speech and learning numbers and colours etc. There are also extra activities offered such as computer skills and french lessons which is excellent in order to allow children to develop key life skills at an early age.

The nursery also understands the importance of good nutrition and the need for children to spend time outside. The garden area is excellent and the plans for it to be extended next year are exciting. The children are also periodically taken on trips to the park and to see the animals.

My son absolutely loves attending nursery at Nottingham Hall.
