I love Mottingham Hall for children. Feels like our daughter is having the best time and they are really supportive of the parents as well. Great events for family. The woods are amazing. Not aure what we would do without all the support. Feels like I a huge benefit for our family that we want to invest in for the future

Wow , what an exceptional nursery! My daughter attended from 18 months to 3 years, and the experience has been incredible. The setting is thoughtfully designed, with engaging, well-planned activities every day. The outdoor space is truly magical, a forest where nature, curiosity, and creativity are nurtured, as well as a farm, allowing the kids to interact with animals daily. A truly unique and special nursery for little ones.
The staff have been consistently outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to each child's wellbeing and development. The chef provides nutritious, delicious meals, my daughter loved them!
This nursery's approach helped my little one grow into a confident, kind, independent child with a love for learning. The leadership team sets the tone, always approachable, caring, and committed to improvement.

We're so thankful for the positive impact this nursery has had on our family. It's a truly special place.

Words cannot describe how brilliant this nursery is! My baby daughter only started two months ago but she has learnt so much since she began. I can see new skills at home that she has practised at Mottingham Hall and she has a fantastic bond with the staff there. Staff are knowledgeable, and caring and supply a range of resources for children to enhance their learning skills. Additionally having all the outside space is an added bonus. Thank you to everyone at Mottingham Hall. A truly fantastic nursery.

My son had the most amazing time at Mottingham Hall. The staff are amazing. The communication is great. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better environment for him! I love the outdoor activities they provide as well! He’s grown so much since joining and the frequent focus weeks means extra attention is being paid towards his development.

As a parent, you feel welcome with a parents' area and breakfast pastries served every morning!

This is such an amazing nursery. My son attended from 9 months until 4 and my daughter is now there. They love attending, the activities are thoughtful and fun for the kids as well as supporting their development. The whole approach fosters imagination and creativity. The food is excellent, the chef cooks a varied menu and it’s so reassuring to know that my daughter is eating well. They also spend a lot of time outdoors in nature. They have a little farm with rabbits, chickens and goats which teaches the children how to care for others. On Monday my daughter roasted marshmallows around a campfire in the nursery’s own private woodland. Quite frankly I wish I could attend too!

We are relatively new to the nursery world but feel fortunate that Mottingham Hall for Children Nursery, Farm and Forest School is so close and that they refurbed so there is space for us. Our daughter loves to go outside (if she's not napping) and settled in quite quickly. The staff were great at helping us relax into it as well, giving us regular updates and chats at pick up/drop off so we could feel reassured about her time here. She doesn't like adults usually but gives her keyworker and others cuddles and seeks them out. It's got a good space and lots of outdoor activities too, so we know she's getting a wide education through nature and indoor play. I like the updates we get through the day and the updates on her progress overall. She is encouraged to be confident and you can see, in some of the newer things she does at home, the positive impact going to nursery has had. I also like the morning drinks and snacks for parents. Overall, a very welcoming place.

Mottingham Hall is a wonderful nursery. It has great outside space for the kids to play freely in and a large forest school to explore. The forest school space really is one of a kind for a nursery in London.
All the staff are approachable and my daughter has always had a good experience with her key workers.
I really have seen a change in my daughter’s speech, confidence and learning since starting.
The nursery has recently had a refurbishment making the indoor space bigger and brighter.

My favourite part of this nursery is the resources that are available for learning. They have adapted the curiosity approach. The kids get to have a great sense of home and nature. The nursery animals are a plus too!

We feel very lucky to have our daughter attend Mottingham Hall for Children. A very warm and caring environment. As added bonuses - the nursery building is recently refurbished, it is a forest school and has some lovely animals for the children to help care for. We can highly recommend it.

I love this place. The staff all genuinely seem to care for my daughter and have clearly built quite a special relationship with her, where she is happy to go to them each time I drop her off. They give you updates about what she gets up to during the day and are very proactive about informing me about possible illness or any problem whatsoever. They don’t use screens or watch TV, and they seem to always come up with very creative learning activities! They go outside a lot as well. Highly recommend them.

My son is happy and settled here and loves the forest and outdoor space. I have been particularly impressed recently by a number of fun and interesting trips he has been taken on, such as to a pet shop, a playground and a park. I feel comfortable from speaking to his key worker they have a real sense of him and what he is like and what he needs.

Mottingham is such a great nursery! Living in zone 3 in London can be quite restrictive to nurseries to find outdoor space that allows children to explore the outdoors. Mottingham has this nailed on.
Both the in-class and outside activities the children do are stimulating, fun and inclusive.

The feedback from the nursery teachers is strong too.

Motthingham Hall for Children is an amazing nursery with amazing Woodlands and a farm on site.

Children can spend a significant amount of time outdoors and they are learning through the game. Having a farm on site teaches children responsibility of looking after animals. I am so happy my child is lucky enough to have a space in this amazing setting.

Excellent nursery, staff always friendly and welcoming and happy to chat about the activities of the day at pick up. Our child is happy to attend and any time they need an extra cuddle at handover the staff are always happy to facilitate. The outdoor facilities are excellent, large and varied. The children always spend as much time as possible outside (when the weather allows) in the garden area and visiting the farm animals which our child thoroughly enjoys!

My child has been attending the nursery since September, having started in the baby room and has now progressed to the toddler room. He seems really happy at the nursery and the staff really seem to care about the children. The outside space, including the forest, is amazing, as well as the little farm on the nursery grounds where the children visit regularly.
