Coat of Many Colours Nursery in Uxbridge offers quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to school age. The nursery provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop through play and structured activities.

All staff are qualified, experienced, and DBS checked, ensuring a safe and nurturing space for children to thrive. The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, covering all seven areas of development and supporting school readiness through communication, social skills, and creative learning.

Children benefit from a secure outdoor play area, accessible year-round, promoting physical development and curiosity. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (Dec 2022), the nursery is committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working closely with families and professionals to provide tailored support.

The nursery provides healthy, freshly prepared meals daily and offers free meals for all children accessing 15-hour funded places. The setting accepts funding for eligible 9-month-olds, 2-year-olds, and all 3 & 4-year-olds under both 15 and 30-hour entitlements, with flexible hours to meet the needs of working families.

Children enjoy memorable events throughout the year, including:

Father's Day and Sports Day event was great fun. Lots of fun activities outside and nice singing when coming inside. My child had great fun and enjoyed the pizza and cake given at the end. Well-organised fun day for both father and son.

I found a perfect home for my two year old son in the Coat Of Many Colours Nursery when I newly relocated to the UK with my family. The staff are friendly and have a unique way of attending to my son, he is always happy to attend CMC every day. The environment is serene and educational and my son has
developed rapidly in every aspect since he started CMC; his speaking has developed coherently (he can make sentences) and he is always happy to attend CMC. This has made my family very happy for the good management of CMC.

My experience with CMC has been nothing short of appalling. First and foremost, I must address the distressing incident that occurred involving my son. He was bitten severely on the face while under the care of this nursery, resulting in a visible scar. This incident has not only left my child traumatised
but also raises serious questions about the level of supervision and safety measures in place at this facility. I am extremely disappointed by the manner in which CMC have handled this situation, they have refused to take responsibility for the incident. This lack of accountability is deeply disheartening and reflects poorly on the nursery's management, I have repeatedly requested the staff details of those responsible for supervising my child, as I believe it is my right as a parent to know who is entrusted with their well-being. However, CMC nursery has consistently refused to provide me with this information, which raises concerns about transparency and accountability.

Our son enjoyed being at Coat Of Many Colours Nursery. He loved his teachers and knew them by name, he always had positive reports when he came home. The environment nurtured him to make friends who he told us about often. His graduation was particularly nice for him. The team at Coat Of Many Colours

All three of our children attended, and our baby just started three months ago at Coat Of Many Colours. We could not be more delighted with the love, care and devotion the staff have been providing to our children. They always ask about the child's health, mood, sleep, and feeding pattern at each drop-off
and give comprehensive verbal feedback on pick-ups. Very satisfied with their liaison, understanding/willingness to understand and accommodate our and our baby's needs.

I have had a very good experience with this nursery so far. I have four children attending (quads) and cannot fault the staff and management in any way. Staff all have a general "can do" attitude and pay attention to the needs of the children. My children have all shown very marked improvement in all

My son found a second home at Coat Of Many Colours Nursery. As an international student with a two-year-old son, I needed a place to send him that was both affordable and safe so that I could study and I found just that at the nursery. My son is eager to go there every morning. The staff there are professional
and give constant updates on his progress. I have seen tremendous improvement in his social and cognitive development. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Well, where do I start, being new to this I was so stressed, from the first time I walked into the Coat Of Many Colours Nursery the excellent atmosphere and helpful staff made me feel at ease, the kids were all focused and happy doing what they were doing, I could see how caring and professional the

We chose Coat of Many Colours Nursery because it has a good atmosphere and it was close to home, and the environment has good vibes. We originally heard nothing but unpleasant views on this nursery, but having our old nursery shut down and needed somewhere to go, we decided to give Coat of Many Colours Nursery a try. Thankfully for us, a lot of our old staff from the previous nursery moved over, and I have fallen in love with them
on how caring and professional they were, that’s what made us follow and go there, and I’m glad we did. We met all the staff and felt instantly comfortable with the ones we didn’t know. It was my daughters first time at a nursery, and she settled in so well with no cries and always comes out happy. My son had already been at a nursery, and I was concerned how he would be with the change, but he settled in really well down to both the old staff he knew and the new ones. We’ve definitely gained personal respect and trust with some of the staff and are sad that these said staff have left, so I hope to make a new personal bond with the ones who are left. Overall, we would recommend this nursery.

My children attended Coat of Many Colours Nursery Hayes branch. The teachers there have mostly been there for years and are amazing at what they do! My daughter loved her teachers and was so sad to leave this year to start reception.
I think the head office could do better with communication and customer
service skills but I cannot fault the actual nursery and their staff!

My son started nursery a few months ago and settled very well. He really enjoys his time at nursery and made good developmental progress. The nursery staff are very friendly and listen to parents' concerns. I highly recommend this nursery for pre-schoolers.

It’s a shame to criticise this place because their caretakers were great and we never had a complaint about them. However, the admin/management there completely ruined our experience with Coat of Many Colours. There were consistent behaviours indicating a lack of integrity and competence throughout
the last few months before we pulled our son out. We had major issues getting a buggy/car seat combo replaced after Coat of Many Colours had mistakenly thrown it away. It took 66 days to resolve and we ended up with a new buggy missing a few pieces that they'd stripped off in an effort to not give us anything more than was lost. Because of this, Coat of Many Colours became extremely inflexible and rude. Their communication was extremely slow throughout. A personal highlight was being called a liar by their manager, about the pieces missing from the buggy, only to show her pictures of the old one, and then have her say "too bad we're not replacing those parts anyway". They had a ton of turnover and were really just a nightmare to work with.

Wouldn't ever recommend this to anyone. Management is awful rude and arrogant. Staff turnover is disgraceful. All they are worried about is making money and no interest in the child's development. No nursery trips no even to a farm or even a park. Problems getting your deposit back, we never got ours.
I have contact numbers available for other parents with same issues. Keep well away from this nursery.
CCTV is only for there personal use so if your child is hurt or makes a allegation they don't allow you to watch it.
