Clever Cloggs Childcare Ltd

I looked at lots of different nurseries before I returned to work and Clever Cloggs really stood out due to its homely feel, low staff turnover and big garden. My daughter has been at the nursery for two years now and absolutely loves it - it can be a struggle to get her out the door at home time as she likes to give a cuddle or high five to the staff as she leaves. The staff really make this nursery - it may not look as impressive as some of the bigger chain nurseries from the exterior but the level of care received and the learning and development of the children is second to none. The children spend a lot of time in one of the three gardens (baby, toddler and preschool all have their own) which for me was a real selling point as well as having access to a wide variety of toys, books and messy play with different structured activities planned every day to aid their learning.

Thank you, everyone, at Clever Cloggs for all you do, my little one always walks out smiling.

I cannot find fault with Clever Cloggs. My daughter has been so happy there for the last year and her development has been brilliant. The staff and other children are always smiley and welcoming, it makes the whole process of leaving the baby there so much easier and puts my mind at rest knowing she'll have a great day!

I looked at all the local nurseries and although Clever Cloggs isn’t as bright and shiny as all the others we felt it was perfect for our daughter. It’s been open for nearly 14 years with the same manager and four out of the five original team members are still there- it has a definite family feel! It has fantastic outside space and the weekly observations via Tapestry let us look into her world when she’s there - can not recommend enough - go and have a look!

My granddaughter attends Clever Cloggs Childcare. They provide quality childcare with a homely feel. The centre is a safe and caring environment. My granddaughter adores her carers and looks forward to childcare each day she attends. The staff are always accommodating and approachable. They provide stimulating and educational activities which encourage my granddaughter to be a motivated and independent learner. There is plenty of free play as well as structured learning activities. She loves socialising with her many friends. I could not have asked for a better, more supportive placement for my granddaughter.

I have three children all of who went to day nursery, my youngest is currently at Clevercloggs and it is one of a kind! The children are all so happy and involved, whatever time you arrive to pick up, they promote a family feel and treat each family as individuals - can not recommend enough just wish I’d known it was around the corner when my eldest two needed childcare

Lovely nursery. My child settled in straight away in the baby room. There is so much communication between the me and the staff about my child which is reassuring. Love this nursery would definitely recommend to someone who a bit unsure about leaving their child, this one makes them feel comfortable and safe.

My child has been at the nursery for a few months now. It’s like a home from home for my child, the level of care and education is outstanding. She is extremely happy and I can not recommend it enough.

This is because she enjoys it so much she doesn't want to leave. The staff are amazing and really care for the children. We feel that she is in safe hands and is developing really well. The children do so many different activities, the staff are so creative. I highly recommend this nursery, sending our daughter here has been one of the best decisions we have made.

Will be sad when he has to leave and go to big school in September.

We have had two grandchildren attending Clever Cloggs Childcare. The eldest grandchild is 9 now and the youngest is leaving - July 2019. They have both been extremely happy here and the dedication of their carers has been excellent. All the staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the children. The outside areas are excellent. I can't praise Clever Cloggs enough and would recommend this nursery to all.

My granddaughter has been at Clever Cloggs for over a year now. There is a good atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. When she was in the baby room and I was leaving her off I would be concerned she might not settle, but there was always a carer who would come and offer her a cuddle and settle her in until she got more confident. Now she leads the way to the toddler space, but she is still greeted and invited to join in whatever activity is taking place. It's great to find her in one of the garden areas at pick up time. A few weeks ago I could see her out in the garden watching something very intently. A frog had come into the garden, it had been placed in a container with some water and vegetation and she was so excited to see it hop into the water and swim. I was impressed that one of the carers had done this so the little ones could see the frog closely for a while. Really good place.

My youngest daughter is just leaving to go to school, and after eight years of using this nursery, I feel like we are saying goodbye to family, the dedication of the staff is amazing and nothing is ever too much. The cards on birthdays and Christmas are memories we will treasure forever - Clever Cloggs we will miss you!!!

What’s quite striking is that the children at Clever Cloggs all seem so confident, older kids often waving and wanting to say hi as we walk through to pick up our child. Occasionally, they mix the age groups up at the end of the day and that’s something my child really thrives on. There’s a big focus on learning, my child isn’t even 2 yet and he can already count to 12 and knows his colours (obviously I teach him at home but Clever Cloggs have really reinforced this learning). It sounds untrue but I don’t often hear crying at this nursery and I’ve noticed that the team deal with tantrums in such a caring and respectful way, encouraging the children to talk about why they’re upset etc. I’ve learnt a lot from whitenessing their negotiation skills during the pick-up and drop- off. They also have a fantastic mud garden which my son loves! Can’t speak highly enough of Clever Cloggs.

My daughter's spent three and a half years at Clever Cloggs, she absolutely enjoys and loves the nursery. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. The nursery has breakfast club and runs from 8:00-18:00, it is really suitable for busy working parents. Clever Cloggs has excellent care and great facilities, I would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery for their child to send them to Clever Cloggs at Welling.

Special mention to the staff in the baby room, they are amazing.

So happy I have found a nursery who really takes pride in their work. Not forgetting the amazing outdoor space as unfortunately at home we do not have any, so this was a winner from the beginning for us.

My little one has just left baby room who I can not praise enough for their efforts and for settling my nerves on leaving my precious baby for the first time.

Hearing and seeing what my little one got up to in a day was fantastic, stuff I would never have imagined would enhance her learning and abilities. She has become such a character!

Although I'm sad she is leaving babies because she is growing up and the care they provided was unconditional, I am 100% confident that toddler room is going to bring out the best in my child.
