Kindred Windmill Montessori Nursery School

All the staff at the nursery are very friendly and approachable. My 3-year-old boy settled in very comfortably with help from the teachers. Knowing that my boy is safe, comfortable and learning in a good environment makes me very happy.

We can feel how quickly our son is learning and how much he loves going there!

Amazing teachers and headmistress make this school a real gem. Our little boy has blossomed and become more social, confident and knowledgeable since attending the school. Teachers clearly love the children and their jobs.

Our son settled into Windmill Montessori really well (after being at home with us for 2 full years). He attends the morning sessions at the moment. We like the sense of orderliness and calm at the nursery and our son is thriving in the supportive setting. He speaks openly about his teachers; he is clearly warmly looked after and cared for. The low child to teacher ratio gives me confidence that his needs are being assessed and he is being developed. The garden is a big perk - he loves being outside and it is rare to find a Montessori with outdoor space in our neighbourhood. The nursery is well-managed and that leads to a happy environment for everyone. Our son lights up when he sees a classmate at the park in a Windmill uniform. He says “friend from x (blue, purple, etc) group” - it’s helping him develop an understanding of community. Thanks Windmill!

We had only heard good things about this nursery before we decided to put our twins there. The kids took a while to settle in as they weren’t used to seeing new faces during the pandemic. The teachers were really patient and caring. It didn’t take the kids long when they started enjoying getting ready for school, having met new friends, getting to play and learn new things every day. It’s been about 3 months now and they can’t stop talking about their teachers. We notice their growing abilities, nurturing their independence in daily activities and I’m also glad to see the fondness increasing between them. All thanks to Windmill… I’m happy that this nursery was our first choice & we didn’t have to look further!

The kindest and most caring teaching staff who really engage with the children. My son has really thrived at Windmill Montessori and is so excited for nursery every single day. We have had the best experience there.

Our experience is fairly short, as our son has been there only for a month but he seems to enjoy it. The staff seem friendly and caring, they look after the children but also give them their independence. They are well organised and clean. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, the separation from the kids especially in the first week, was a little abrupt but it slightly got better in the following weeks.

The teachers seemed very happy too - they really enjoy their jobs and form individual connections with children! Same impression about the support staff. We feel blessed to have been part of Windmill family.

I have been a Windmill parent for six years now and my third child is currently attending the nursery. We have been very happy with the loving and nurturing environment at the nursery and my children have thrived there! The teachers are excellent at understanding the needs of the child and tailoring their approach to handling individual personalities. The Head Teacher is enthusiastic and conscientious and very good at communicating with the parents. The online app where your teacher can post progress updates and photos of your child to share with the parents on a regular basis is a new addition this term and we are very happy with it. I wholeheartedly recommend Windmill to all prospective parents!

We are very happy with Windmill Montessori. Our son loves going there and only after a few months in, he has developed lots of new skills. The teachers are very caring and attentive, lots of different activities that stimulate the children's development. I really like the outdoor space where the kids can play (it's rather small but that's not surprising in central London). Through the app parents get ongoing updates on the child's development as well as pictures from the activities. We really could not be happier with the nursery and the staff! I highly recommend Windmill Montessori.

From Day 1, my experience of Windmill has been entirely positive. The Head Teacher is extremely friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and supportive. She is also very easy to contact, always picking up the phone and replying to emails. My children are thriving as a result of the time spent at Windmill and I drop them off each morning knowing they will be well looked after and cared for by the staff.

I can't express enough how happy I am with the Windmill Nursery. The teachers are very attentive and always tend to all the children's needs. The headteacher is absolutely wonderful and dedicated. There is so much effort into every activity that is planned and she still accommodates all the parent's requests. Since attending my son's confidence and self-belief has improved significantly. I highly recommend the Windmill to anyone thinking of joining.

Windmill Montessori is a wonderful nursery. My daughter loves going to school every day. Children are helped to develop independence and confidence in a nurturing and caring environment. Teachers pay a great amount of attention to the development of each child and children. We could not be happier.

Two of my children went to (and one is still at) Windmill Montessori Nursery. We are extremely happy with the school, the teachers, the nurturing environment and curriculum. Our children gained in confidence, learnt to express their feelings and be independent. They made friends and are always happy to go.

We were also very impressed how the school managed the lockdown and post lockdown situation, not charging fees to parents when the school was closed, communicating permanently with the parents, making sure the environment was safe for everyone while minimising stress for parents.

We couldn't be happier with Windmill Montessori Nursery. My eldest son is extremely happy there, the environment is very friendly and relaxed, yet they learn a lot every day. The teachers pay a lot of attention to every child's needs and provide weekly feedback and updates about what they have been busy with. The Headteacher puts all her energies and commitment into what she does, always making sure that parents' expectations, as well as children's needs, are met. I could not recommend Windmill Montessori Nursery highly enough and I also look forward to my second child joining in a few months.

During the last 4 months, the schools and the company that owns it have behaved in an impressive way, with excellent communication and activities for the children before they were able to return to school. I can not recommend Windmill highly enough
