My daughter started pre-school in September 2024- although she had some days where she wasn't settling the staff were extremely understanding and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and safe! She loves going to preschool now and loves her teachers and playing with her friends. Thames Tiddlers is an amazing nursery with great staff who only have the kids' best interests at heart.

A nurturing haven for early childhood development. This nursery is an exceptional early learning setting that beautifully blends thoughtful design with educational excellence. The use of natural materials creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming and stimulating. The outdoor area is well-maintained and offers a fantastic environment for children to explore, learn, and play. The 'kindergarden' gardening activities provide wonderful opportunities for hands-on learning and connection with nature. The staff are the nursery's greatest asset - warm, caring, and incredibly dedicated. Their commitment to each child's individual needs is remarkable and provides parents with complete confidence in their child's care. Overall Thames Tiddlers is an outstanding nursery that goes above and beyond in creating a nurturing, educational, and supportive environment for young learners. Highly recommended for parents seeking quality early childhood education.

My son loves attending Thames Tiddlers and has made a best friend in his key worker - as well as the other educators in the baby room. Every educator shows a lot of kindness to my son, who can sometimes struggle with leaving me (mummy) at drop-off, but overall he loves his days at the nursery. I have noticed big leaps in his development as he has come up through the baby room, and I know that a lot of it is helped by the team at Thames Tiddlers. The team have always been open to my comments and questions, and they are helping to tackle things with me, such as reducing my son's use of his dummy and bunny toy. We have always been a fan of the open setting, which allows the children to play in and outside as they wish, and allows them to play with natural objects and experimental toys, rather than just the usual plastic toys etc.

I’d highly recommend Thames Tiddlers nursery to fellow parents/guardians. My children loved the outside space, the free flow, natural resources and closeness to nature. I really like their teaching methods and their core values. I greatly appreciate the fact that they plan every day according to the children’s interests. They teach the children independence and also to play nicely in groups. In pre-school, the level of education is exceptional. My daughter finished pre-school with being able to write her name, numbers to 10, count to 20 and know a lot about space, gardening, animals etc. She was able to describe what Saturn looks like or what did Neil Armstrong do in space. My boy learnt how to play football, his fine motor skills developed a lot, he learnt to love drawing, and both learnt English in the nursery and they were fluent by the age of 3. (Joining at age 2 with no English) Huge thank you to all the staff for their dedication too.

Our family is absolutely in love with Thames Tiddlers. Our son beams when we come to pick him up and we've been delighted by how well all the educators in his room - not just his key worker (who is fab!) - know him and care for him with so much heart. I love the write-ups we get through the parents' app which have allowed us to continue his learning at home and also keep in close touch with his key worker. He's our only little one and, in an ideal world, we'd love to be with him all the time - but we have to work and I can honestly say that any sadness I feel about leaving him for the workday goes away when I see how happy he is, learning and growing at Thames Tiddlers. Really feel lucky to have Thames Tiddlers in our neighbourhood.

I am so delighted with Thames Tiddlers. My son is only in the baby room but grins every time we arrive there which says it all. He had come on leaps and bounds since starting and the staff are absolutely lovely and know him so well. What sets it apart for me is the fabulous outdoor space. Having moved from central London I just love that he can be outside so much of the day and the outdoor classroom for preschool looks wonderful. It’s also more affordable than other local nurseries which means a broad range of families can attend which is great.

Our four-year-old daughter has been at Thames Tiddlers Nursery since she was ten months old. We have been really impressed with the warmth and care the staff have shown her. The Reggio Emilia approach they use has been fabulous for fostering creativity, confidence and an appreciation of nature in our daughter. The curriculum is always rich and full of new activities that make our daughter love going to nursery.

We have two children and both have attended Thames Tiddlers Nursery since they were nine months old. The staff are friendly, supportive and they fully prepared our first child for primary school. There is a range of activities and the staff get to know the individual child, their likes and dislikes.

We have used Thames Tiddlers nursery since January 2014. It's been great thanks to the wonderful staff. I am very positive about this nursery overall. It would be great if they could organise more outings. My eldest child had the opportunities to visit the local zoo and museum. Recently they don't do as many outings now as they did before.

My little boy has been attending Thames Tiddlers Nursery since he was 8 months old. He has the best time and loves going. The staff are very friendly and very professional. My little boy always comes home with plenty to tell me about his day and everything he has done. I am so happy with how my son has progressed since starting. I wouldn't want him to go anywhere else. Staff will always find the time where possible to inform you of everything they think you should need to know. My son's speech is amazing for his age and is very sociable. I believe the staff play a huge part in this and cannot thank them enough for what they do.

My son was very unsettled when starting nursery for the first time, however the staff all accommodated both he and I to ensure he settled and within a month he was fine. All staff I feel are aware of my son's ways and needs, always very attentive, always give great detail on my son's actions and activities of the day. I love the updates I receive on the tapestry. My son loves going to nursery now, he has learnt so much being there and all staff are great!

My daughter has attended Thames Tiddlers since September 2017. She goes three days a week and I think the shaping of her character and personality is partly growing from her time there. She is free to express herself and explore. In a ‘morning proposal’ she can put her thoughts across about what themes she would like to explore that day. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that honour chosen themes, and Atelier artists to nurture creativity. She has made good friends there and staff seem to really know her, which I love. Tapestry updates me on her progress and she usually spends much of her time outdoors, mucking about in the garden, forest school or climbing and building things. I’m so glad I found this place and I think the memories we'll have from here will remain long after she’s gone.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery, she's happy to go in the morning and loves the staff who work with her. She's always excited to talk about what she's done, who she has played with and what's she's learning about. We love seeing the new skills she is learning and hearing all the new language she is picking up. We feel she gets so much out of her days at nursery and feel very lucky that she is so happy there.

Both my sons have attended Thames Tiddlers and I have always been very pleased with the level of care they have received there. The staff are warm and enthusiastic. The venue is well kept, clean and full of fantastic equipment to interest and excite the children. They offer a variety of different activities which allows the children to express their individual interests. The meals are according to my children better than my offerings!. I would highly recommend Thames Tiddlers Nursery.
