Any nursery can sell itself with nice pictures and Ofsted reports. Don’t get fooled: the real value you find when your child attends and when you are in need. My personal experience with fancy and offers outstanding previous nursery was far worse than Magic Roundabout Nursery at Stockwell.
Firstly,
as key worker they welcomed us (fancy nursery kicked my son out in 48 hours after promising they will be open but still wanted us to pay the nursery fee), securing my job as a frontline doctor during lockdown.
Then my son needs some extra help from special education and the SENCO team was well above the expected and worked perfectly together with the nursery.
When I needed emergency childcare they did not even ask questions, just supported and supported me again.
It is a warm, kind, nurturing multicultural place with amazing staff at all levels.

Responsibility, care and love are the core values of Magic Roundabout.
We have loved how it has been taken to the next level with refurbishing and upgrading the space for babies and kids.
We have also loved how the manager and the staff are listening and embracing our opinions and ways of parenting
and there is a collaborative approach amongst us.
They also take care of our food preferences, having an amazing and very kind chef that we trust.
We feel that our baby is in a space where it is looked after and cared for and there is nothing more that, as working parents, we could ask for.

My little boy was at Magic Roundabout Nursery for a year until we moved house. The team were just lovely. He was extremely happy there and was learning new things every day. The opening hours are longer than any other nursery I found and yet the cost was significantly lower - we couldn't quite believe
it when we were first given details of the fees. For me and my husband being able to pick him up by 7 pm made our lives so much easier. The building doesn't make the best first impression but that's quickly blown away by the warmth of the people inside. And there has been a very nice refurbishment of the reception and the whole place is being improved. The weekly menu is full of good healthy options. You would get a daily update in an app of nappy changes/naps/meals etc and then once a month there would be 2-3 updates of activities over the course of the last month. All in all, I would highly recommend and we would not have left other than us moving too far from the nursery.

We are really happy that Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell has been a second 'home away from home' for our child during the Covid-19 pandemic, allowing them to interact and learn with other babies in a safe and supportive environment. From the first day of settling in, we felt very comfortable dropping
off our child at Magic Roundabout Nursery, the way in which they are greeted every morning with genuine warmth by the staff is really lovely and reassuring. We were impressed by how they've responded when our child has needed to take medication and had changing medical dietary requirements. We really enjoy updates through the app daily and also appreciate the opportunity to have a call with our child's carers to discuss their development every few months. We can really see how the nursery is trying its best to maintain as normal an atmosphere as possible for the kids and maintain communication with parents while keeping everyone safe.

My daughter started at 6 months. It was two years ago, she is very happy there, learned a lot and made some friends. The staff is warm, welcoming and friendly with the kids and the parents. The nursery has small classes and a lot of space indoor and outdoor for the children to play. They always keep
us up to date with what is happening in the app or in person. They organise activities and have adapted very well to these weird times due to COVID with regular video conferences.
It has a wide opening time and a pushchair storage room.

I have had my daughter at Magic Roundabout Stockwell since she was 11 months old and she is now 4. What I love about the nursery is firstly how warm the staff are - I felt if I can feel the kindness and warmth from them then surely my daughter will. The second thing was the space. I loved particularly
in the baby rooms that there is so much natural light in the room. I also remember my daughter settling in very quickly and feeling happy to go in and play. Sometimes as a mum, you can feel over-anxious about things and I have never felt judged for bringing things up that I am concerned about. This nursery is extremely flexible in terms of when you are able to drop off and pick up your child and this has been very helpful for me as I do not have a fixed start time for work and sometimes it is more convenient to bring her in slightly later or earlier.

I settled in my twin boys just before Christmas in the midst of Coronavirus. It couldn’t have gone better. The boys took to the staff very quickly - there were no tears and I felt very happy handing them over to people I felt were sweet and caring. I think the facilities are great, particularly in a
world where we are spending a lot of time at home. Having a large nursery with spaces where children of many ages can come together safely is ideal and gives me comfort in a world where there are fewer opportunities to do that.

I'm very happy dropping our little one off at Magic Roundabout.
They are very welcoming at the door, and my daughter just loves going there.
The staff are very pleasant, and I've not had a worry at all since we've been using them.
My little one loves it so much; she even wants us to do 'circle
time' at home!

In March 2020 my daughter's regular nursery had to shut as they were unable to remain open during Covid-19 lockdown. Myself and my partner are both key workers and with the help of the council, we were advised to approach Magic Roundabout Nursery as a hub for key worker children and see if they could
take over our daughter's care.
From our first communication with Magic Roundabout Nursery, they were fantastic. They opened their doors to our family in March and we were so grateful to have been able to work throughout the pandemic knowing our daughter was well cared for at Magic Roundabout Nursery.
She herself, had an absolutely fantastic time; she loved every minute and made lots of new friends. From day 1 she was happy to be left with the team and we know that is because she has felt safe and cared for.
Unfortunately, we live quite far away from Magic Roundabout Nursery. This meant longer commutes for the three of us, to and from home and work. Otherwise, this is a fantastic setup, with lots of space for the kids to play and explore, including the garden.

Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell has been really supportive during the lockdown period, with Zoom session with the teachers and online videos. They opened back to all families as soon as they were allowed to, which was such a relief. They put the right measures in place to limit the risk of spreading
the virus, with the parents not entering the premises anymore and the kids allocated to a "bubble" with few of their friends. My two children were really happy to go back to the nursery. They've been there since they were a year old (now four and a half and three years old). The teachers are patient and creative, they follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and my children are proud and enthusiastic about everything they learn each day. The nursery has a lot of different rooms, with various activities for the kids. Before the lockdown, they were providing Mandarin lessons, which my two children really enjoyed. The nursery is now using the parent link app to share feedback and pictures.

Looking for a nursery was a stressful experience but Magic Roundabout Nursery was the best choice! My daughter started the nursery when she was seven months old and now she is two years old and she loves it! The staff and the teachers are outstanding, always smiling and caring for the kids. The management
is helpful and supportive. The facilities are good and clean and finally, the opening hours are amazing for parents that work longer hours. Great value for money!

Magic Roundabout Nursery is a wonderful nursery which my daughter truly enjoys. She started at 5 months and has been going ever since. The nursery staff is very loving and caring towards her and it feels like an extension of home for her. They have a lot of attention for her development and challenge
her in fun ways which really speeds up her development.
She is cheerful every morning when I bring her and happy and tired in the evening from all the fun and learning activities during the day.
The opening hours make it very easy to combine with work and you don't have to stress to pick your child up before 6pm if you have to work late.

A wonderful nursery! Our son has been at Magic Roundabout Nursery for a year, first part-time and then full time. He has been very happy there. My twin daughters have been coming to MRN since they were four months old. It was such a hard decision to make, to leave my children in the care of others as they were so young but from the moment of seeing the teachers surround my girls, and the love they have given them has been an amazing sight to
witness and could not ask for more from them. The whole team really are amazing and caring.
They are now two years old and love going to nursery, never hesitate being dropped off and have become very happy, active, confident, creative, determined girls. They come home exhausted after a fun-filled day learning at the nursery.
The opening hours are fantastic and make life more flexible and less stressful when I’ve had to work longer hours.

We are very pleased with this nursery. Our daughter started attending the nursery when she was just five months old. Initially, we chose this nursery because they have good facilities for babies (individual cots, separate room to sleep, eat and play, outdoor space) and good opening hours. We don't regret
our choice at all.
The management and staff are very nice and competent. We find them very good and nice with children. They communicate well and often with parents and are always trying to help and be constructive. They also have been amazing during the lockdown period - staying open and really trying to help families.
So generally very happy with this nursery.

The team at Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell is simply amazing.
Re - facilities they have a big hall for indoor play and a big yard/garden outdoor. The management staff is always kind and supportive. We were with a big brand name nursery before but Magic Roundabout Nursery is definitely different
and so much better. We can truly feel the teachers love our baby and other babies in the room. They do treat them like their babies, very nice and caring. They cuddle and hug the baby, always welcome and talk patiently to them. I really recommend the nursery to everyone. Thanks the team so much, you are all amazing!

I am really happy with my son's behaviour and overall development as well as learning. The practitioners, rooms leaders and managers in the setting, are enthusiastic people who really want to support all children in terms of learning as well as in their everyday needs. Me and my wife get feedback for

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2016

Katerina studied and acquired a BA, MA, and Ph.D. in Education. Katerina moved to London in 2016 and has been working for MRN since. Soon the company acknowledged her devotion and expertise for childcare and invested in her skills and knowledge. Furthermore, Katerina’s passion and interest in the sector are reflected in her daily practice, as Katerina always seeks out new approaches that would benefit the children and provide high-quality childcare accessible to all.
