Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell

My daughter has attended Magic Roundabout since she was one and has absolutely loved it. The positive and heartfelt welcome we receive every day she attends sets the scene for a happy day at nursery. The staff are extremely caring; they take a genuine interest in each child and can provide a detailed account of every day. The management have been very helpful and great with communication. It is such a lovely environment for the children to learn through play. The online portal/app allows for easy summaries of each day and also includes some photos and progress reports. The nursery hours are really helpful for working parents. We have been extremely impressed and very happy with our time at Magic Roundabout.

My daughter has attended Magic Roundabout Nursery since she was 1 year old. The care has always been consistent. Her overall development is evident as she is achieving all of her developmental milestones. The opening hours have been a God send and has given me a work/life balance. The management and staff are always transparent and keep you updated always. The online portal allows you to see pictures and detailed summaries of your child's day and what they have eaten. Overall 10/10.

My son has been at Magic Roundabout for three years now and absolutely loves it. The staff are caring towards the children and the parents, and the management team are really open to feedback. It does feel like a little family, and I've never had any real concerns. My child is happy and looks forward to "nursery days", and if a member of staff is off, has even been known to tell me he misses them. Can't recommend Magic Roundabout enough.

It’s certainly the best nursery in the area. Light, airy, spacious rooms, very attentive and professional staff, our daughter loves going to nursery! The nursery has their own special educational needs and disability coordinator, who has done some amazing work and pushed through all the relevant referrals to local speech and language therapy teams, to help with our daughter's development and readiness for primary school. Nursery fees are very reasonable too!

Very good nursery. The teachers are lovely and my daughter loves going there. Very good facilities too and great food cooked on the place every day! The nursery has good hours and is open 51 weeks a year.

Friendly staff who care for the children in good facilities. We have really appreciated all of their hard work. We look forward to sending our children here for years to come. Would highly recommend this!

Very polite and tolerant staff. Kids love their teachers. If I need to improve something it might be playing garden, bring white sand instead of dark muddy compost. Also, it would be a good idea to let children stay inside with special slippers and when they go outside change their shoes.

Safety is taken seriously that's why I have peace of mind.

The Magic Roundabout staff hold the warmest energy for parents and children alike. Being a primary school teacher, I see the need of meeting EYFS standards on a daily basis. I feel blessed to have such an incredible institution which my daughter is part of. Thank you truly.

Magic Roundabout is a very nice nursery to send any of your children to. There is a beautiful mixture the children are also very happy in their surroundings they offer different types of learning as well as observations which take place weekly and recorded on to their personal journal which only you as a parent have access to. You get to view your child’s progress through an app so you can monitor their activities milestones meals sleep patterns mealtimes and nappy changes for those who are still quite young.

The staff are kind and approachable if you have genuine concerns about any delays you feel your child may encounter and offer encouragement in activities to try at home if you sometimes feel you are doing it wrong.

Overall, I’m glad I chose Magic Roundabout Nursery (Stockwell).

My daughter has been attending Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell since she was 16 months and I couldn't be happier dropping her off and leaving her every morning, due to the great care she receives and the enjoyment she has. I have watched her thrive and develop a huge amount since she has joined and I feel this is largely down to the care, support and learning she receives at this nursery. My daughter has made some really lovely friends and I feel her key workers and all of the other staff at Magic Roundabout Nursery put her interests first, teach her really good manners and this really shows in her when I pick her up every day. All the children are kind and respectful to each other and the teachers do an amazing job setting a good example to the children. Magic Roundabout Nursery has lots of different rooms, allowing all the children to experience a large range of activities. There is a big (and more importantly) shaded playground, which is reassuring during the high summer. I highly recommend this nursery and I am thankful to all of the amazing staff!

We feel that our baby is in a space where it is looked after and cared for and there is nothing more that, as working parents, we could ask for.

My little boy was at Magic Roundabout Nursery for a year until we moved house. The team were just lovely. He was extremely happy there and was learning new things every day. The opening hours are longer than any other nursery I found and yet the cost was significantly lower - we couldn't quite believe it when we were first given details of the fees. For me and my husband being able to pick him up by 7 pm made our lives so much easier. The building doesn't make the best first impression but that's quickly blown away by the warmth of the people inside. And there has been a very nice refurbishment of the reception and the whole place is being improved. The weekly menu is full of good healthy options. You would get a daily update in an app of nappy changes/naps/meals etc and then once a month there would be 2-3 updates of activities over the course of the last month. All in all, I would highly recommend and we would not have left other than us moving too far from the nursery.

We are really happy that Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell has been a second 'home away from home' for our child during the Covid-19 pandemic, allowing them to interact and learn with other babies in a safe and supportive environment. From the first day of settling in, we felt very comfortable dropping off our child at Magic Roundabout Nursery, the way in which they are greeted every morning with genuine warmth by the staff is really lovely and reassuring. We were impressed by how they've responded when our child has needed to take medication and had changing medical dietary requirements. We really enjoy updates through the app daily and also appreciate the opportunity to have a call with our child's carers to discuss their development every few months. We can really see how the nursery is trying its best to maintain as normal an atmosphere as possible for the kids and maintain communication with parents while keeping everyone safe.

Our child is enjoying every single day at the nursery. The staff are very nice, the location great and the venue has good features like a hall for activity, a large outside space and storage for pushchairs.

I have had my daughter at Magic Roundabout Stockwell since she was 11 months old and she is now 4. What I love about the nursery is firstly how warm the staff are - I felt if I can feel the kindness and warmth from them then surely my daughter will. The second thing was the space. I loved particularly in the baby rooms that there is so much natural light in the room. I also remember my daughter settling in very quickly and feeling happy to go in and play. Sometimes as a mum, you can feel over-anxious about things and I have never felt judged for bringing things up that I am concerned about. This nursery is extremely flexible in terms of when you are able to drop off and pick up your child and this has been very helpful for me as I do not have a fixed start time for work and sometimes it is more convenient to bring her in slightly later or earlier.

I settled in my twin boys just before Christmas in the midst of Coronavirus. It couldn’t have gone better. The boys took to the staff very quickly - there were no tears and I felt very happy handing them over to people I felt were sweet and caring. I think the facilities are great, particularly in a world where we are spending a lot of time at home. Having a large nursery with spaces where children of many ages can come together safely is ideal and gives me comfort in a world where there are fewer opportunities to do that.

We are delighted with the care and teaching our son received at Magic Roundabout Nursery Stockwell. He is a confident and happy boy, and we are sure nursery has contributed immensely to this.
