Little Cherubs Nursery pride themselves on being a small family run company that keeps the welfare and care of children at the heart of everything they do.

In 2000 the nursery opened the first nursery in Sydenham and the second in Shortlands 4 years later. Both nurseries are run by a dedicated Management team, some of whom has been with the company since opened.

They are committed to finding the best possible staff to provide parents with the peace of mind, knowing that their child is being cared for in a safe, healthy and loving environment.

The nursery aims to meet the needs of all children and families.

Staff will work together to support the parents and children throughout their time at Little Cherubs by building strong, positive relationships between Children, parents and the staff team.

There is an inclusive environment which enables the children to express themselves freely and provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment, that is bright, warm and inviting.

The children’s individual needs and interests are supported as they develop and grow.

It was indeed an exciting journey for us as parents and our daughter at Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool, this being her 1st nursery experience in the UK.
We are glad that we found a spot for our girl in this nursery, as it gave us an amazing experience and landed our little one more confident and
independent than ever. We really appreciate the management and staff for maintaining a conducive, comforting and an absolutely engaging set-up. My little one stayed there for close to three months (left just because of relocation) and loved going to the nursery every day after getting settled. Important to mention that the settling-in was smooth in itself. Can’t thank the staff and the management enough.
A highly recommended nursery. I still miss receiving my daughter’s daily learning journey updates through their amazing ‘eylog’ app.

Since my daughter started with the nursery, I have had a pleasant experience with the staff and ongoing communication. My daughter has adjusted well and has the right support and care throughout the day, and it shows in her development.

All staff are welcoming and cheerful. Wonderful group of people, good communication between the nursery and parents. Management team are very helpful and understanding, they try their best to accommodate your needs. My son loves going to nursery and he speaks all the time about his teachers in a happy

My son has had a very enjoyable experience at Little Cherubs.


They have a variety of activities and additional visits for Mandarin, French and sports lessons from external providers, as well as lots of fun games and learning mixed in.


Good balanced diet with healthy protein options for snacks.


The small garden area is used well with an annual farm trip being organised for older children.


Despite the challenges of covid and staff changes the happiness of the children is prioritised. The staff are always welcoming with a big smile.

My son has attended Little Cherubs Nursery from 10 months old and is now three years old getting ready to leave for pre-school, since being there he has learned a lot and is a very confident little boy, the support from the nursery in working at home to help your child progress is excellent, this is
where he learnt to walk, talk, count, say his Abc's, be potty trained and many more things. The staff are also very friendly and easily approachable, I would recommend Little Cherubs Nursery to anybody I know looking for a nursery, my son has enjoyed his time there, and we would like to thank the team for all their time, care and effort they have put in with helping him to excel to now be able to enjoy his new adventures.

Our daughter started going to Little Cherubs when she was eight months old and spent three and a half years there before we moved out of London.
My wife and I looked at a few nurseries before choosing Little Cherubs but they were easily our favourite.
The staff were warm and friendly and the premises
were safe, clean and we thought our daughter would develop better there, and we haven't regretted that choice.
She loves going to nursery and is always ready for home at there end of the day.
She learned to walk, talk, eat, dress herself, count, write and spell at Little Cherubs, not to mention play and we will be forever grateful to all the staff for all the care and patience and understanding that they showed her over the years.
Our daughter is a very happy, balanced and bright four year old and Little Cherubs have contributed so much to that.

I have tears like I am the one who was attending and now I am leaving. Exactly 2 years ago, my daughter was attending her first week at Little Cherubs, she was not walking or talking yet. My child learned to walk, talk, eat on her own, dress on her own in the nursery and this all happened because of
your efforts and care and above all because of your love. I can't begin to mention names because each one of you, from the cleaning team, the cook, the staff in each room, and the management, you have all been part of this journey. Little Cherubs Sydenham is the best nursery in the area. My son is in preschool, and he loves going. The manager is very supportive, and all children come in with a smile on their faces. Very happy place. Highly recommended.

My daughter had been at Little Cherubs for one year and we have been extremely happy with the nursery. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery each day and talks about staff and other nursery children all the time so she’s clearly very happy and feeling safe, comfortable and confident with the
staff. Really big covered area to keep buggies. The garden has so many interactive toys and activities that the kids get to use. The reports we have had have been very detailed about our daughter's developments. We also get captioned photos/videos of our daughter having fun on a regular basis which is lovely. The nursery also run amazing sessions for kids and parents - currently, they are running mindfulness sessions for the parents which is a great idea. I’d have no hesitation to recommend the nursery.

I'm sharing as it must be hard for parents to chose nurseries now due to Covid and being unable to visit like normal. My daughter started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room and loves it. Staff are genuinely caring and she runs off to go inside. The rooms are well decorated with educational
displays and different areas of the rooms divided up for different types of play. Lovely outdoor area to the front of the nursery for the kids to play, although it's London so tarmacked but brightly coloured with trees and greenery to make up for it. The food looks better than anything I've ever served up at home and the updates on the app always make me hungry! Entrusting your children to anyone is a hard choice but I'm so glad I went for Little Cherubs. (I've put 'excellent' for safeguarding but thankfully have no personal experience of this, but I expect this to be in line with the rest of their standards).

My daughter absolutely loves attending Little Cherubs. She started in the bright beginnings baby room and is now in the tiny tots' toddler room. She loves the staff, knows them all by name and often chats about them when she gets home. I was very impressed with the small baby room with individual cots
and a sensory play area. Later, my daughter enjoyed moving up to the toddler room with its large play area. They provide a diverse diet and she always eats and sleeps well there. The children take part in lots of activities and parents receive regular photos and updates via the app. There is a nice outdoor play area and in the summer she loved playing in the "mud kitchen". Would highly recommend to other parents in the area.

Our daughter has been with the team from infancy to nearly four years old. She absolutely loves going, and regularly talks about the friends she has made and the teachers who have looked after her so well. The online app updates make me smile no matter how busy work gets. We get stories, photos and
updates most days. Our daughter has a number of allergies that require close attention, the team are very attentive in keeping her safe and healthy. We totally trust the team at Little Cherubs and feel completely confident in them giving her the best learning experience. Thank you for everything you do.

My daughter has been attending Little Cherubs since she was 13 months old. She started in the baby room and after 3 months, moved up to the toddler room. The staff in both rooms have been brilliant in quickly settling her in and making me feel comfortable leaving her - they show genuine care and affection
towards her and seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of looking after her, which is so important to me. In turn, Stella loves the various activities (particularly the music/dancing and arty ones) and has made so much progress in a small amount of time. She eats very well there and I get lots of information about how her day has been. The nursery is very well run and management has been flexible and helpful in allowing me to book additional sessions where available and, recently, to permanently change Stella's nursery days. I consider the fees to be good value for money and am very happy with my choice of nursery - I would highly recommend Little Cherubs.

My daughter started at Little Cherubs Nursery at the age of two in the little learners room, very shy at first and crying a lot, however, I always left her very reassured that she was well taken care of and her key person always went beyond her means to make sure she was happy and relaxed, to the point
of not wanting to leave in the afternoon!
She has just finished her pre-school now and is very sad to have to leave her nursery, her friends and most of all her teachers, who were always amazing with her and who she mentions every day! They are all fantastic and made her nursery time an unforgettable one.
The place is very clean, well run, always friendly faces, and very flexible with parents' needs, I recommend this nursery without a doubt.

We couldn't be happier with Little Cherubs in Sydenham. The staff are wonderful and take great care of our daughter, being very warm and caring. The nursery has lots of space for the children to play, both inside and outside. The days are filled with activities and our daughter loves going to nursery,
so much so that she sometimes wants to go on the weekends too! The food they provide for the children is very good, our daughter has several allergies which are always catered for and we never feel any concerns when leaving her at nursery knowing she is completely safe. Management are easy to get a hold of and the staff are very responsive to any questions or queries you might have. Highly recommended!

My two daughters attend Little Cherubs nursery, my eldest daughter has been attending the nursery for 2 years now and started when she was 2. Staff assisted my eldest with her potty training and writing her name. My youngest daughter started at the age of 4 months. I am extremely happy with my choice
of nursery as the staff are so lovely, if there are any problems in the mornings during drop-offs the staff are very helpful and reassuring. I was quite anxious in my youngest daughter starting at such a young age, however, she settled in quickly and has created wonderful bonds with staff, especially her key worker. Both of my daughters are happy to attend nursery and look forward to going every morning.
My only criticism; staff and managers need to pay more attention to detail at times regarding dietary requirements.

My son enjoys every day at Little Cherubs and never wants to leave in the evening. He has been there for more than 2.5 years and has gone through all rooms. Everybody looks after him well and the carers and management are extremely passionate about children and their development. Every week, I am amazed
that they come up with new ideas, themes and activities. Of course, children learn a lot because they have individual targets and activities. It's nice to be able to read regular reports and what the children are up to in the parents' mobile app. There is also a great focus on languages (Mandarin and French) and sports.

When I began my career in the childcare industry, my goal was and has always been to provide a safe, warm, nurturing, and fun environment for children to be themselves and grow.
I’ve learned so much over the years which has also allowed me to be where I am currently on my own learning journey from a Nursery Assistant to Nursery Manager. I have never lost track of the fundamentals that allow children to have fun and learn.
I am a fun, caring, reliable individual who always goes above the call of duty to ensure that everyone around me is happy. My passion stems from living in the moment and enjoying life to the full.


WHAT I HOPE TO ACHIEVE AT LITTLE CHERUBS
As the Manager at Little Cherubs, I am determined to ensure that an outstanding standard of care that Little Cherubs currently provides to the children is upheld by all members staff on a daily basis.
I aim to further enhance and allow both children and staff to flourish on their own individual learning journeys.
My main aim is to ensure a fun, nurturing environment for everyone that attends Little Cherubs.


WHY WE CHOSE CHRISTOPHER FOR THIS ROLE
Christopher is a forward thinker that presents a very child centred approach to learning. He radiates both calmness and positivity. We feel he will be a great leader for our staff team.
We feel his upbeat energy will boost team morale & he will reflect as a great role model filtering down to the Sydenham team.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I have worked in Childcare for over 13 years. I have worked with all age groups and since starting my career, worked up from Nursery assistant, senior Nursery nurse to Third in charge role . After working in one setting for over 13 years, I decided it was time for a change & joined Little Cherubs back in November 2020.


I love messy play activities with children as well as singing and action songs.
The highlight of my career in Childcare was receiving my Level 2 & 3 qualifications and also training for the SENCO Role.
