Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool Sydenham

Our experience of Little Cherubs has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff are so engaged, caring and helpful. Thanks to this care and attention, our child is thriving socially and we are amazed by her general development during her time in the Little Learners room and in Pre-School. The staff handled this transition between classes brilliantly and were instrumental in helping our child to become fully potty trained at the same time. This is not to mention the simple fact that our child is so happy there. I couldn't recommend Little Cherubs highly enough.

My daughter had a fabulous time here at Little Cherubs. Any concerns I had were dealt with quickly and we were made very comfortable. My daughter was very nervous as she isn't great around big groups but always come out of nursery happy and with a big smile on her face.

We were recommended Little Cherubs by a friend and it has not disappointed, my son joined in June 2023 and is now in Little Learners and he absolutely loves it and settled in so quickly. The staff are really caring and approachable, you feel like you are leaving your child in safe hands. I can see in my son's development that he is getting the right support and care that he needs. We are glad to have found a nursery that we love and that my son loves.

My child has been at Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool almost six months and loves it there. The staff are caring, kind and straightforward. They have the most important job in the world, as far as I am concerned, so it's crucial that we have trust in them and have developed good relationships. The nursery itself is welcoming and fun. On-site cook means food is always fresh, nutritious and varied. The menu is phenomenal! The nursery arranges lots of activities for parents including first aid training which was super useful. We visited other nurseries in the area and we knew straight away that Little Cherubs was the right one for us. We are very grateful to have found them.

If you’re looking for a great start/strong foundation for your child, I’ll say this is the nursery to go to. I definitely recommend. I had a great experience with my son and now my daughter. They are doing a great and amazing job. My daughter was born during Covid and I was so worried about how she was going to cope with being at a nursery but believe me when I say after a month her interaction with other children was amazing, her learning skills were excellent. The other great thing about Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool is the manager, she is so understanding and very much approachable. Talk of the staff, they are so friendly, respectful and helpful to parents. Am totally happy and appreciative of the nursery.

My son joined Little Cherubs Sydenham in the Baby room at the start of the year and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives there and how he has settled in. Right from Day 1 the staff have been so lovely, really getting to know him, ensuring he is happy at nursery. I have been really impressed at how caring all the staff are and how they go above and beyond to do so many lovely activities with the children. It is so reassuring knowing he is so well looked after and that he enjoys going to nursery so much.

The staff are caring and amazing, they look after the children like their own. Very informative with progresses and also reach/inform should changes need to be made. My son has been going to the nursery for 3 years and every day he looks forward to going into nursery.

What a delightful nursery! Our little one settled in so quickly and clearly loves it there. The staff are very switched on, diligent and enthusiastic in their roles, always on the lookout for the varying needs of the children. The food is nutritious and the range is great, and my little one has been putting on very healthy weight since joining. There's clearly also proper effort by the team/management to come up with thoughtful and creative ways to engage the children in all sorts of ways. Our keyworker, who is just superb!) and the others in my son's room are all just terrific. Having been part of other settings that don't necessarily have the consistency and quality that we've seen here, we're just very relieved to have found a nursery like this one.

A highly recommended nursery. I still miss receiving my daughter’s daily learning journey updates through their amazing ‘eylog’ app.

Since my daughter started with the nursery, I have had a pleasant experience with the staff and ongoing communication. My daughter has adjusted well and has the right support and care throughout the day, and it shows in her development.

All staff are welcoming and cheerful. Wonderful group of people, good communication between the nursery and parents. Management team are very helpful and understanding, they try their best to accommodate your needs. My son loves going to nursery and he speaks all the time about his teachers in a happy way. My son has his favourite teachers. Highly recommend to any parents. My son has passed through all the classes at Little Cherubs Sydenham, from 8 months to 4 years. Great experience straight through.

My son has had a very enjoyable experience at Little Cherubs.

They have a variety of activities and additional visits for Mandarin, French and sports lessons from external providers, as well as lots of fun games and learning mixed in.

Good balanced diet with healthy protein options for snacks.

The small garden area is used well with an annual farm trip being organised for older children.

Despite the challenges of covid and staff changes the happiness of the children is prioritised. The staff are always welcoming with a big smile.

My son has attended Little Cherubs Nursery from 10 months old and is now three years old getting ready to leave for pre-school, since being there he has learned a lot and is a very confident little boy, the support from the nursery in working at home to help your child progress is excellent, this is where he learnt to walk, talk, count, say his Abc's, be potty trained and many more things. The staff are also very friendly and easily approachable, I would recommend Little Cherubs Nursery to anybody I know looking for a nursery, my son has enjoyed his time there, and we would like to thank the team for all their time, care and effort they have put in with helping him to excel to now be able to enjoy his new adventures.

Our daughter is a very happy, balanced and bright four year old and Little Cherubs have contributed so much to that.

I have tears like I am the one who was attending and now I am leaving. Exactly 2 years ago, my daughter was attending her first week at Little Cherubs, she was not walking or talking yet. My child learned to walk, talk, eat on her own, dress on her own in the nursery and this all happened because of your efforts and care and above all because of your love. I can't begin to mention names because each one of you, from the cleaning team, the cook, the staff in each room, and the management, you have all been part of this journey. Thank you so much for your care. Thank you, preschool staff, thank you! I will forever keep you in my heart.

Little Cherubs Sydenham is the best nursery in the area. My son is in preschool, and he loves going. The manager is very supportive, and all children come in with a smile on their faces. Very happy place. Highly recommended.

My kids have been with Little Cherubs since 2015 and it has been a very positive experience all along. The staff is really caring and professional.

My daughter had been at Little Cherubs for one year and we have been extremely happy with the nursery. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery each day and talks about staff and other nursery children all the time so she’s clearly very happy and feeling safe, comfortable and confident with the staff. Really big covered area to keep buggies. The garden has so many interactive toys and activities that the kids get to use. The reports we have had have been very detailed about our daughter's developments. We also get captioned photos/videos of our daughter having fun on a regular basis which is lovely. The nursery also run amazing sessions for kids and parents - currently, they are running mindfulness sessions for the parents which is a great idea. I’d have no hesitation to recommend the nursery.

I'm sharing as it must be hard for parents to chose nurseries now due to Covid and being unable to visit like normal. My daughter started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room and loves it. Staff are genuinely caring and she runs off to go inside. The rooms are well decorated with educational displays and different areas of the rooms divided up for different types of play. Lovely outdoor area to the front of the nursery for the kids to play, although it's London so tarmacked but brightly coloured with trees and greenery to make up for it. The food looks better than anything I've ever served up at home and the updates on the app always make me hungry! Entrusting your children to anyone is a hard choice but I'm so glad I went for Little Cherubs. (I've put 'excellent' for safeguarding but thankfully have no personal experience of this, but I expect this to be in line with the rest of their standards).

My daughter absolutely loves attending Little Cherubs. She started in the bright beginnings baby room and is now in the tiny tots' toddler room. She loves the staff, knows them all by name and often chats about them when she gets home. I was very impressed with the small baby room with individual cots and a sensory play area. Later, my daughter enjoyed moving up to the toddler room with its large play area. They provide a diverse diet and she always eats and sleeps well there. The children take part in lots of activities and parents receive regular photos and updates via the app. There is a nice outdoor play area and in the summer she loved playing in the "mud kitchen". Would highly recommend to other parents in the area.
